CID Unlock/Rom Flash Troubles - Touch GSM General

I've been trying to flash a new rom using elf-uspl.exe, but after the ducky screen is done, instead of a white screen my elf just reboots, and when I try to run the RUU it just pauses for a few seconds and then tells me that it doesn't have a connection to the device anymore. I tried it a few times, and as far as I can tell, am following the instructions to a tee, however I am a bit of a noob. So what am I doing wrong? Also, my phone doesn't seem to recognize my 4GD sandisk SDHC card, which from all that I have read, it should support. I have tried reformatting it in FAT32, FAT and NTFS. I wonder if the two problems are related. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I need help, stuck at unlocker and nothing works

Ok, I unlocked my phone the first time and it worked fine, from there I installed a new rom and everything was working fine. Decided I wanted to try something else so I unlocked again, but this time no roms work whatsoever, im just stuck at the screen with three colors. When I try to install a rom it gives me the progress bar but it stays at 0% until it gives me the 262 error. From there I recover back to the 3 color stage but no rom will get me past the 262 error.
Any help guys would be greatly appreciated.
are you running vista? if so i had the same problem. i had to install xp on a virtual machine to get anything to work :/ you could also try a trick... take out your micro sd and put it in a card reader, format it to FAT32, copy the ROM you want onto the blank card. rename the file to "VOGUIMG.NBH". then press the power, camera, and reset button at the same time. It should reboot and automatically flash your new rom.

Cingular 8525 Stuck in Bootloader (Red Green Blue screen)

I have tried several attempts to get my Cingular 8525 out of bootloader. I have tried multiple ROMS, various steps, and have even used the guides found in these forums.
Here is my information as it is seen on the screen.
HERM100
IPL-1.03
HERM100
SPL-1.11
Serial - Once plugged in to PC it reads "USB"
Can anyone point me in the right direction to the correct ROM/guide, or give me a short guide as to what i need to do to get this thing "unstuck"?
Thanks so much in advance for your help.
Did you try the SD card way? format sd card to fat 32 instal .nbh of rom choice and rename to hermeimg.nbh on card put it in phone. if already in bootloader SHOULD automatically reflash os. HARD SPL YOUR DEVICE IMMEDIATELY IF THIS WORKS. Do a search on forum for hard spl. should've been the second tyhing you did AFTEr reading about flashing. Good luck.
sorry, should be "hermimg.nbh" not as above.

Stuck in bootloader...

I am afraid my Polaris bricked, but I hope somebody knows a solution. Let me explain:
I turned off my device to get my microsd card out. I put the card in my cardreader to fill it with a lot of music. After that I inserted the card in the polaris, turned on the pda, and I got into the bootloader screen .
I tried to soft reset: bootloader screen again, tried to hard reset: bootloader, tried to flash original rom: rom update complete and after that bootloader, tried to flash several cooked roms: rom update complete and again the bootloader. When I try to charge my polaris it automatically turns on and goes to the bootloader. Flashing with microsd doesn't work. I also tried the thing with mtty, but it doesn't show the usb option in the list...
I DID hard-spl, I was using udk diamond R8 and never had any trouble before, while flashing about once a 2 months. I really am desperate, because I am unable to charge the pda now. I searched well and I only found threads of people who forgot to hard-spl before flashing custom roms.
I hope someone comes up with a brilliant idea, I love my Polaris way too much working and I don't want it to be a nice looking pda that doesn't work anymore.
PLEASE HELP!
I now manage to get into the mtty application, but I don't know if it is a good idea to use it. The problems I found here which could be solved with mtty are different from my problem I think. What would be wise to do? I flashed various original roms, and radios. That seems to work as normal, but after flashing I keep returning in the bootloader screen .
I hope one of you has an idea what to do. If it is something that is involving risk, I think I should do it anyway, because in this current state my Polaris is useless.
a few ideas! maybe they can help!
1) do you have warranty? you can restore back to original spl and then get HTC to ix it!
2) Try flashing your phone without the MicroSD card in place, maybe with the stock HTC Rom
Another option - try to delete all files from your memory card.
Thanks for the replies.

I read the thread about restoring back to original spl. There is stated that you can't restore to original spl if you are stuck in bootloader...
2) Try flashing your phone without the MicroSD card in place, maybe with the stock HTC Rom
I tried a lot of times, but every time after flashing has finished, I return to the bootloader
Another option - try to delete all files from your memory card.
I formatted my memory card in fat32, tried to flash with sd-card. When I turn on the phone it shows about 0.5 seconds something like "no rom image" and returns to bootloader screen
My cruise is still stuck, and I really think about trying things in mtty as a last resort... Anybody who knows what commands I should give in mtty in this situation? All help is appreciated, and if a suggestion makes my polaris work again I will donate the brilliant xda-member 20 euro's!
I have the same fault and have not found a solution. Every time I soft reset I am stuck in the boot loader screen. If I switch off the phone using comm manager then soft reset the phone will boot okay.
The only method I have found to be able to boot properly is to leave the battery out overnight and then start the phone in the morning. Always boots without a problem this way.
To make matters worse the USB port on my phone is broken...

I think I bricked my phone

Hi,
Many thanks ahead of time for helping unbrick my phone.
Long story short, I unlocked my phone worked great, GPS stopped working then tried using titanunlock (really dumb move I now know). After that it would boot to a white Telus screen with "no radio". I used the exitnow I am stuck on TITA100 SPL-1.20.Oilpro. I did have APL-2.40.Oilpro loaded at one time. Not sure what exactly happened.
- What have I tried up to this point.
1. Sometime I can use the RUU tool to communicate with the phone, gets to 100%, phone reboots but I am back the bootloader screen.
2. I am using a 1GB MicroSD card, reformated in fat32 have tried various .nbh files as titaimg.nbh, TITAIMG.nbh and TITAIMG.NBH but all I get is a quick flash that reads no image file.
Any suggestions? All are welcome!
Thanks in advance

Have been flashing roms all the time without issue.
I've tried to flash my mobile and get to HSPL boot screen but it doesn't recognise the leoimg.nbh no matter which rom i use

Hi
Have tried all of this but still no joy at all.
Does anyone else have a suggestion or is there another process that can be used for flashing if a direct flash from memory card doesn't work but the phone is formatted?
Thanks in Advance
Adam
In case anyone has a similar problem:
I installed drivers for phone in bootloader USB mode from the mtty thread.
Set the phone to bootloader and plugged in usb and was able to flash from PC without having to be in winmo
I still can't flash from card but as this way works, it's not an issue.
Cheers
