Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to install both touchflo and Spb panels. I have Spb 3.0 install and it opens on the 1st panel of my X1a. Also, I have read about the installation of touchflo and I'm not sure which files I have to download as there are some people that had problems and I would like to know exactly which files I will need.
Thanks!
by brother has a touchflo custom rom and the spb shell and it works fine.
the only thing u get is that the spb shell sometimes takes a bit to show up after closing a probram etc and u see the touchflo and then it flicks to spb shell. (in a normal rom u see the wm6.1 front page/ui and then it flicks to spb shell)
Thanks, do you have a link? Is that rom the best or you think it will be better if I just look for one that although it does not have SPB it will be better?

my bro uses a custom rom and i ues the offical se rom.
look at the rom section for a rom that suits u and then add the spb shell. the shell should work on any rom in the x1 rom section, if u dont like the shell just uninstall it and use the roms ui (get a trial spb shell and test to see if u like it before paying).
u can always try a few custom roms with different ui (maina, wm6.1 & wm6.5)
as well as ui shell to get the best for u

Hi all,
Is there anyone who has the original theme of the SPB Mobile shell working on a Samsung i780 (320x320 resolution) in combination with realvga? So with the original icons and layout.
I use now the one that was mentioned in the old thread 'SPB Mobile Shell 2.1 + i780 + RealVGA' but I hate the icons and basically just want to use the original theme which doesn't work out of the box on 96 dpi...
I hope anyone can help me with this I would be extremly thankfull for that ;-)

Hi Nico, just saw this thread. My apologies for not responding earlier. In regards to your question, you will need to uninstall spb ms2.1 first. Using total commander or resco file explorer, make sure that everything in the spb mobile shell directory is wipe clean.
As per the original thread, follow the instructions closely to re-install spb ms 2.1 again.
You have to make sure that spb ms 2.1 is installed in 128dpi mode.
After installation, run it under spb ms 2.1 to test out the program. It should run smoothly.
Run RealVGA again and set to 96dpi.
Soft reset.
Unzip the attached file and place it in spb folder to replace the qa_layouts.dat
Finally run spb at 96 dpi. The screen should be aligned to 320x320 now and all icons should be stock.
Hope this helps and let me know if you faces any problems.
Hi g00ndu,
first of all you don't have to apology, I am already extremly thankfull that you are willing to put some time and effort in it to help me with this, that is much appreciated!
The dat file you provided does work indeed to get me the old icons back thanks for that. However, if it is possible, could you also make the dat file so that it also restores the pinned icons on the top? So the default SPB theme layout? That is the only thing I am missing now.
Also I have just another small question, when I read the original post in the past I had difficulties to get it to work (pressing the SPB shell link just didn't do anything) I noticed on other forums that more people had this issue. After a while I noticed that you mentioned version 2.1. I did manange to find an installation file of this version on the internet, however the reason that I had issues in the past was that when you download the cab file from the SPB website you get version 2.1.1 and that doesn't work with the work instruction you provided. I do not have a special need for this new version if it is too difficult but do you have any idea why it doesn't work with the 2.1.1 version and would it be possible to get this dat file you will create to work with that version as well?
Anyway thanks again already for your great help.
Kind Regards,
Nico...
Let's take this via Private Message. We do not want to clutter this forum. I will PM you now.
Apologies to the mod, but there is no other way which I can attach the file for Nico.
@Nico,
Please use the attached file and check if it works. You should have the 12 pinning icons with 6 program icons in your launcher.
If there is some messed up icons, I apologise as I did not have the means to debug. Possibly you can upload to imageshack and link it over here.
If it works fine, just pm me.

Hi,
in my experience I've only seen ROMs with or without Touchflo but never Touchflo nor cubes in standalone packs..but I might be wrong (happens often ). A very personal opinion: those gadgets may look cool in a screenshot but make Artemis quite unusable because our device is not powerful enough. I encourage you to try a Tflo ROM anyway,it doesnt take so much time...obviously be sure to have your original ROM and make a backup of your phone to be able to restore if you're not happy.
Hey sulac how r u doin...good to c u...

It only applies to Sense 2.5. Which ROM are you using, and which Sense version?

Its "home" is a thread about it here on XDA, in the HD2 forum:
Co0kie's Home Tab.
I've been using previous versions for a couple of months and luv it...this latest one is a huge feature-upgrade -- really great. I won't run my phone without it now.
But, yes, you have to be running Sense 2.5. I've experienced no downside, only benefit, using this.

I've been tempted to flash my ROM, but it really doesn't make any difference. I like SPB Mobile Shell so much that I just don't think I'd like any Sense version. But the main reason I WOULD consider flashing is to get that Cookie version with 2.5. It is as close as it comes to Mobile Shell.
The other reason I don't flash is that everything on my phone is working, and I think that a stock ROM is more likely to be stable than a cooked ROM. If I have any problems I may well change my mind.

Find yourself a appropriate official stock rom for upgrade to Sense 2.5, rom 2.xxxxx (for your region), download, install, hard reset, install Cookie`s and you`re gonna rock! If you gonna flash custom rom, don`t forget HardSpl!

I have found that most of the cooked ROMs with Sense 2.5 are actually more stable than stock ROMs. Doring a brief lapse in judgement I decided to flash the updated stock T-Mobile ROM and the speed and unstability almost made me want to smash my phone with a tack hammer. Then I remembered there was a saving grace- the awesome cooked ROMs here. The best advice is to try one...if you end up not liking it you can always go back to stock.

I too flashed the (US) Tmobile ROM updated of Jan 2010. At first it was too slow, but after a lot of tweaking it is now fast and very stable. Actually I have had the same experience with all the HTC devices I've owned. I had a Magician that I flashed, a P3470 stock HTC, and now my TP 2 T-Mobile. In each case I had to massage the unit until it was just right, and in each case it was faster and more stable after about 3-4 weeks. I think that part of it was my tweaks, and part was my learning how the ROM operates.
I would recommend that anyone flashing a ROM consider keeping it for at least a couple of weeks before giving up on it.

You need to go to the settings for the today screen and turn off all the plug-ins. One of them will be named sense. There is no point in having both Sense and mobile shell.
When running sense, you can tell the version by the home screen. If there are shortcuts under the weather icon, then you have 2.5; otherwise it is 2.1.
If you really want your TP2 to rock, I recommend Vostradamus add ons:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=574264
and there is a really cool Mobile Shell theme that looks and functions like the upcoming Windows 7 for Mobile:

New to Tilt 2 - Want Co0kie's Home Tab
Hi guys,
I'm new to the Tilt 2, but not new to the forum. Recently, I had changed to the HTC PURE (courtesy of AT&T's free upgrade), but I couldn't get the Bluetooth to initiate calls from my car. After 2 weeks of struggling with stock and cooked ROMs, different radios and a plethora of other flashes, I finally went to my final option. (Hyundai told me that the Tilt phone was compatible with their Bluetooth.) I took a chance and after much pleading and negotiating, I was able to get a Tilt 2 for no charge in exchange for my new PURE. Right out of the box, it works perfectly with my Hyundai Genesis Coupe. But now, my next dilemna is what to do about the apps and functions on the phone. I have been a loyal follower of TAEL and NRG's ROMs. NRG recently built-in the Co0kie's Home Tab into his latest ROMs. I'm worried that if I flash a new cooked ROM, then the Bluetooth may no longer work. However, if I can at least get the Co0kie's Home Tab, I might be able to live with it all. However, I have noticed that the Co0kie's Home Tab works with Sense 2.5. I don't think that my out of the box Tilt 2 has that. Can anyone assist me in determining what I do and don't have access to? Also, if anyone else has had the Hyundai problem, I would be grateful to hear how they dealt with it.
Maraming salamat,
Miguel

SPB is a 3rd party app which you need to purchase. XDA does not allow warez in any shape or forum whether you are requesting or providing it.
Consider this 1st and last warning on this matter
EDIT
I notice you have edited first post and removed warez request & my comments
ok man i will buy it but how to cook it with my ROm after buying it man ??? please if you know can u make a reply by the way thanx so much
It's like cooking anything else in: install it, grab all the files and registry keys, then put them in an EXT. Try to get it to work straight out of \windows (possibly change registry key paths and shortcut paths); if that doesn't work, then you need to send the files to their own directory.
and if it has setup.dll in the cab you CAN compare the registry before and after installing the cab by sktarcker or ceregedit and export it in the App.reg
it's Not easy to do this , YOU SHOULD WORK ON IT !!!
and some times setup.dll removes and rename some files
BTW : Warez app , Requests , releases are Not Allowed in most Forums
cheers

If you just want to cook this in for personal use or even the trial that's fine. Nobody can impose restrictions on that.
The way I did it is I dumped the cab to an OEM using the CAB2OEM tool floating around XDA (search for it by name).
Add it the resulting OEM to your kitchen like you would any other regular OEM package.
If you'd like to also cook in all your customizations... export the SPB Mobile Shell 2 registry key that gets created after you install SPB.
Good luck...
p.s. I looked at the original post and you did ask where to get the "final SPB cracked" version. We don't allow that here (warez or warez requests) and please leave the moderator edits in place next time you edit your post. Thank you!

Start/Settings/Today/Items to turn off TF3D.
You might like :

Sry if I'm slow but I've tried everything. I have downloaded a lots og themes installed them but they don't show up on the Today/Items. I have downloaded Diamond TF3D Config but that didn't work either. Could you explain exactly how to but the new theme on?
Hi,
I've the same problem. I've done exactly the same things (Diamond TF3D config, themes,). I know how activate/desactivate TF3D but I can't use another theme than the standards one (those of my Phone Operator). It never works. So i'm very interested in the response...
