Today screen of htc to windows

Hi
I have X7500 and i would like to to change default skin of htc to windows defoult in the registry.
Can someone send me the settings that i need to change in the registry?

You do not need to mess with registry. Just go to "Settings". On first tab you have "Today" icon ( for settings of Today page). Click it and vuala. You have list of skins for your choice.

Can't find out how to disable the cube (elf).Help please

I followed this instructions:

but it doesn't work.
I've changed the registry key to 0.
When i use resco explorer to overwrite files , a pop up message says:
the file is in the ROm and can't be overwritten
The instruction linked is for the polaris.
How can i find a way to disable the cube on my elf ? I don't use it and i wanna gain some more free memory.

Below works on my Touch Enhanced and stops the cube totally:-
STOP CUBE - To stop the Cube completely use a registry editor and go into:-
HKLM/Software/OEM/TFLOSettings
set the value of the "EnableCube" key to 0.
I used "regedit" which is a simple free app to do it and have had no problems.

I've done it.
Switching the registry key to 0 really stops the cube.
But during the boot windows still loads all the services needed to the cube to work, and these services drain free memory.
I would like to disable the loading of these services during the boot, this way i would gain free memory space.
How could i disable it ?

Change display suspend settings

when my htc mega locked (display off) and receive an sms the display does not light with the sms? Why? ha any way to change this system? thanks

You have to make a small change to the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL
"DisableSMSWakeUpEvent > 0

Or use program like "Diamond Tweak" with many more settings you can change.....

Indeed... ...but be carefull. HD Tweak, Diamond Tweak and Advanced Configuration are not 100% compatible with the HTC TouchPro2.
Some people prefer total control over their device by using a registry editor rather than a program that doesn't show exactly what it does

Sure ....not all tweaks in mentioned applications work....but they are convenient for most

Problem: the screen doesn't lights up when i receive a text message! Pls help!

Set the DisableSMSWakeUpEvent to 0. You can find it in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL .
With registry Editor:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL]
"DisableSMSWakeUpEvent"=dword:00000000

I cannot change the value, it says Access is Denied. I am using Mobile Registry Editor.

Hmmm, strange....try with this editor....if not works we can try via desktop.....

Frank, the file is not complete. I don't see an executable. I have previously used Mobile Registry Editor to change my SMS thread to the classic style and other small settings. I don't understand why it doesn't want to accept changes.

I tried changing some values of other strings to see if the problem was with the registry editor but then I could change some, like this one:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoSentMsg
but I can't change the value of, DisableSMSWakeUpEvent.

Sorry about my dumbness. Frank, I did not realize I had to install the cab file in my mobile. I changed the value successfully.

Registry Changes with Script

I am creating a package that runs a script to make changes to the registry of a windows mobile 6.1 device.
can anyone point me in the direction of a list of all registry options and values?
I need to change:
BT Select to Microsoft
Backlight settings to never turn display off
Turn ClearType on
disable the turn of device if not used for..
can anyone help me with this?

These registry settings are different per device. You will have to search for Your device-specific settings and test them first to be sure.
