I'd love one myself. I've always accumulated one for every phone, pda, and laptop I've ever had. Rarely needed them, but emergencies always seem to happen when time is a critical issue.
Talking of which, is there any value in broken ipaq's?
would come in handy...

Interesting pics!
Do you have chipset references or any specific hardware details?
Can you make high quality pictures of the boards where the chipsets can bee zoomed?
Thanks!

Medical Software

Hi....I need a medical software for my touch pro 2....hope everybody can gv me know where can i get the link...thank..buddy....
It might help us if you post a little more detail of what you want this software to do. As English may not be your first language it's probably best to check; Is this human medicine or for a 'sick' phone?
In case you are looking for a link to cracked software, you're in the wrong place, you won't find warez here.
Cheers,
Gordon
thank ya....

Jtag in toronto

Hi android fans
Im currently looking for an individual who can jtag my phone. i guess rooting it is what the terms are ive looked all over and i believe that having a PERFECT SPL prevents me from doing it any other way.
Also to conveniece the person who will be jtaging my phone, i would suggest anyone else who is interested in getting their htc dream/ g1 jtaged that lives in the Toronto district contact me or post on this forum so we can all get our phones together @ once as the people who are able to jtag and root your phone are probably busy and have jobs.
So for convenience, PM me and post on the forum and i will try and contact people who can JTAG.
PS: does anyone know if Pacific Mall in Toronto has anyone that can jtag?

This is the third thread posted about this topic. These forums are crowded enough. There is a nice little edit button in just about all corners of your screen, you could have simply edited the first post you posted yesterday.
A simple search would have just as easily shown you this earlier post that seems to be relatively active and would have bumped it to the top of the threads.

I know, I know, I'm not a mod, let the mods handle everything blah blah blah, but the truth of the matter is I have to navigate these forums too and you're not making it easy so I am voicing my opinion....

Only the mods can delete threads, but going back thru all the threads you opened and editing the title to say something like MODS PLEASE CLOSE, or DUPLICATE THREAD or something to that effect will let them know that they are clutter and can be closed/deleted
Damn dude, you're even blowing up haykuro's profile page here on XDA!!! LOL

Reviving an old HTC

Well, I'm about to buy a HTC HD2 (the t-mobile version) to repair it, (like a hobby thing), anyway, the phone seems to have the LCD broken, the digitizer seems ok (but as far as I know they aren't expensives, like U$S 15), So here are the questions:
I want to buy the LCD replacement, but I'm not sure which one (I know I have to buy the T-mobile version) but some seems to require soldering a connector, and others don't, also do I need special tools for opening the cellphone? Is there any guide on the internet that you could recommend me? and how much should I paid for the Lcd? any other advice? Thanks!
edit: I forgot the [Q] on the title.. can't edit it, sry I'm new
you can probably open it without using special tools, altough you will need T9 screw drive if im correct, here's a video of official assembly/disassembly video leaked by HTC. pocketnow[dot]com/hardware-1/official-htc-hd2-disassembly-assembly-training-videos-leaked
LCD and digitizer is glued together, theres a video there showing how to take it apart i think.
Good Luck!

Yeah sorry about that. I just spent like at least twenty minutes to get that link to work and for some reason it just would not so I just copied and pasted the URL. I have never had that problem....... Aghhhhhhh. Anyway sorry again.
Well, thanks for the warm welcome! and about the price to pay for the screen + digitalizer? 80 U$S is alright? (if, it can be told) and thanks again for the info, in a few months I'll post some before and after screens
Oh, and by the way, I don't have a T-Mobile Sim card, Will I be able to unlock the phone? thanks.

Yeah I noticed after I added that that it was your first post just never did bother adding that to my post. I meant no harm or disrespect by it though. Thanks for trying to help out here as all should do when they can.

[Q] Why is there no tutorial on.....

I need to change my D800s screen and LCD because I dropped it and it broke. I managed to pry it open but I don't want to unscrew the wrong screw to change the screen. Is there any tutorial on how to accomplish what I ask?
Hi,
Take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2437403, at the end of the service manuals there is a disassembly guide with screw sizes and schema.
