I've noticed that whenever I use the HSDPA connection heavily, all incoming calls get diverted to the voicemail. Any workaround for this?
I'm gonna bump this as I have the same problem

One confusing problem that i want to solve: When i am connected to the Internet via the "Wireless Modem" application, then i can't receive any incoming call even it is no data transfer over the air(GPRS). Every phone is available for receiving this calls when it is no data transfer active. But my Himalaya not. The other side is ringing to me but i can't see anything. No missed call no incall..nothing. I can lose lot of important calls when i use Internet(WModem) at same time. The problem is the same also for SMS's. Is it some solution of this problem? Or is it somewhere over the net any application that can toggle the call forward to any other phone? I will be greatful for any suggestion. Thanx.
Hi all,
I've got my HD 2 for a week now and everything seems to be working fine, except for a very important bit: the phone.
When I'm connected to the network with a data connection, incoming calls are not possible after some time. The caller just gets a busy signal or my voicemail. This also happens when I haven't been actively using the connection for some time. Calling is also impossible most of the times this occurs, very annoying! Anyone else got this problem? It only happens when a data connection is present, under phone only use there is no issue.
When you say "data connection" do you mean Bluetooth, USB, or HSDPA/3G etc?
I haven't noticed this myself while connected to HSDPA...must check it out.
It only happens when I'm using 3G/HSDPA.
True
I have same problem.
Sometimes the call completely lost and sometimes the message "cannot dial for ...." pops up.
I think it could be connected to network itself ...
I can receive calls when the wifi is off, when I turn it on it can't receive calls any more. The wifi works fine and I can use the internet. It shows 3g signal but not the H that shows it is connected to mobile data and all calls just go to voicemail. When I turn the wifi off the wifi data connects straight away and I can receive calls again.
Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks
If it helps I am using the latest Carphone warehouse 2.1 rom.

No,you can't.
Your cellular connection (3G/2G/GPRS) is used for the data connection.
Try blocking all calls/sms using apps
guess if your always going to be in widi area u can turn off data connection and just have wifi on
Several times a day, my phone goes into "silently lost connection" state. When it's in this state, the WiFi internet works fine, mobile internet works, phone still shows good signal bar. Basically, you have no way of knowing something is wrong with your phone, everything is as it should be.
However, in this state, I don't receive any TEXTS or CALLS. If someone calls, it goes straight to my voicemail. If someone sends a text, it goes on my "texts to receive" backlog or something.
The only fix is, go on airplane mode on/off. Then I get the connection back, texts in the backlog starts coming in, calls are received, etc.
My phone is SM-G935F (Android: 7.0, Baseband: G935FXXU2DRB6). I'm on T-Mobile network. I've tried a connection booster app that re-connects to mobile internet network or something, but that's not the problem because I can access the internet at all times, so that didn't work.
Does any know what's going on? Any idea for a solution? Maybe an app that turns airplane mode off and on every 10 minutes or something?
