I'm currently using "Miri WM 6.5 21885 V 33.0" ROM and it works great.
However, i would like to move on to a ROM with htc sense 2.5 cause
i really like the new interface.
I've flashed some htc sense v2.5 ROMS but nothing came close in terms
of speed to the manila v2.1.
Can anyone tell me what is the fastest manila v2.5 ROM out there?

Unfortunately manila 2.5 roms are generally slower than manila 2.1 roms due to htc sense (manila 2.5) not meant for HD (meant for HD2).
As for which is fastest, this is really down to trial & error, i.e. you trying out a few and finding this out yourself. Everyone will generally have different opinions on this or loyalties to certain rom chefs so you'll get different answers from different people.

Does anyone have a ROM of Windows Mobile that would run on the HD2.
One without all the HTC gubbins? Almost a stock ROM of WM I guess?
Or are there tweaked WM ROMs for speed out there, and what is the latest? I thought 6.5.3 was but notice some cooked ROMs include 6.5.5?

Build 23518 is WM6.5.5 and build 28205/28014 are WM6.5.3. Not much difference, 6.5.5 seems a bit faster and has threaded email, but is also often less stable. Buid 28014 is the most stable WM6.5.X build so far.
Whats the difference between barebone and lite.
You say barebone has htc messaging and lite doesn't? I thought it would be the other way around?
Oh... I actually mean HTC enhancements and it mentioned about a canvas which I don't really understand.

Barebone is without the HTC phone canvas (the dialer skin). Both have no HTC Messaging.
You need to try a few ROMs to see what you like best.
When I had my WM phone before the magic, and I had it customized, it ran way better with a custom ROM that i cooked from a kitchen. Will the Magic also run better on one of the custom ROMs on here vs the official HTC Sense ROM that I have on it now?
