Rolling back stock RC33? - G1 General

Got a replacement phone from T-Mobile and can not roll back to RC29 from RC33. Does anyone know the secret on this one? I'm stuck at a bootloader loop... Goes all the way through the update and comes up as Update Terminated - UPDATE FAIL! I am concerned that I am now stuck with a brick. HELP!

Have had this problem before.
Download again, verify the md5 and flash again.

G1 hangs after 1.6 update

Hello,
For the third time in one month, my G1 device hangs on the boot screen.
I've send the phone to tmobile two times and they fixed it.
When it comes back, it has firmware 1.5 CRB43.
But now the problem:
After a while, the phone comes up with an notice that a download is ready
(1.6), i choose install, the phone reboots a few times and then gets stuck on the boot screen. I don't know how to fix this or what is causing this problem.
I never rooted the phone, just using the official OTA updates.
I just don't understand why the official OTA 1.6 update is causing this to my official Tmobile G1 phone (bought in the shop).
Anybody who has an idea to get my phone to work again?
I can acces the recovery mode, but reset doesn't fix the problem.
You would have been better off getting cyan rom if you have root, since ota 1.6 is laggy like hell.

try manually flashing the OTA. you can download the update from here
http://getyourdroidon.com/builds/ota/signed-kila-DRC83-from-CRC1.c41b93c1.zip
rename it to update.zip and place it on the root of your SDcard
boot up your phone holding Home+Power
Press Alt+L
Press Alt+S
(it should say something about updating)
your phone should reboot automatically
pm if you need anymore help/clarification
@B-man007,
Okay, i've tried the file you said.
It says (in this order):
Finding update package
Opening update package
Verifying update package
Installing update
Installation aborted
So it doesn't install that file, really quick after the installing update the screen flashes and it says installation aborted.
I have an dutch (european) phone, your file looks like an usa update.
I also tried an EU version, but it gives the same error.
The problem is, i don't know which firmware version is on the phone right now.. I guess something between CRB43 and DRC92. Or maybe it has no firmware at all because it just hangs on the opening screen.
@Ace42, i don't have root, never had. Just using official OTA updates.

goto unlockr which is here for root.

I've tried that website, but it's not working in my case.
Trying to install the original SPL gives an error (no signature files found).
I also can't install the Original DreaIMG.nbh file, it keeps saying:
00028002 not allow in bootloader.

[Q] What did I do? SEUS Update?

After spending the last two evenings and most of Saturday trying to flash and root my phone I somehow managed to get it caught in a loop that I couldn't get to stop. Over and over it was flashing the green SE logo and a purplish space looking design.
In flash mood I updated the phone through the SEUS and when I rebooted it I ended up with version 2.1 update1 and build #2.0A.0.504.
I'm in the U.S. with an AT&T x10a. While it still shows X10a as the model number all the AT&T branding and bloatware is gone.
Any thoughts on exactly what I did would be appreciated. Thanks.
Are you able to boot up and use the device or is it still stuck in the boot screen loop?
If it is, open SEUS on your PC and try to update the phone. It will most likely state you have the latest software. Next choose install anyway and this will download and re-install the firmware and your device should be repaired.
No, the phone is working perfectly. Curious as to why it would let me do that with an AT&T branded phone?? It wiped all the AT&T stuff off.

[Q] bricked At&t S4, having issues with Kies's Emerg

I am trying to recover my bro -in law's phone who bricked his phone during an OTA update. I don't know what happened. I have followed several of the how to's here but i ran into the error updating Firmware shown in a black box.
I have an AT&T Galaxy S4.
I have been trying using kies, going to "tools", then "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization." and followed the instructions and agree to everything.
It continues to download the Firmware which takes about 30 minutes then it changes screen and looks to begin the download to the phone
but right away has an error "failed to upgrade due to unexpected error, do you want too run emergency recovery now? And wants a recovery code.
That's as far as I get, I'm exhausted in my ability to fix this. Can anyone help?

Need help plz, want to update my phone but can't

Ok, I accidentally clicked update with my phone rooted. That issue has been solved my using odin to flash the factory pit. Now if I try to factory reset or update (mind you I unrooted), it still goes to the illegal software lock screen and I have to flash the factory pit again. How do I solve this problem?

You might have to flash the complete firmware package and not just pit. Are you trying to be on the latest 4.4.4 version that is unrootable or do you want to stay on an earlier version to keep root?
I got it. Was unfamiliar with the 3.09 version of odin and was forgetting the ,tar because I didn't see the PDA tab. lol I updated to the 4.4.4 for now. If it does not become rootable, I will prob just wait until I can get a new phone. This phone has been a pita as far as modding goes. Thank you though!

[SM-G950U] Stock firmware for T-Mobile Galaxy S8

I soft-bricked my phone trying to install the PartCyborgRom. Odin failed without writing anything, but now my phone is stuck in an endless boot loop. I think my only chance is to flash the stock firmware back to the phone. Does anyone have a quick link to the firmware version G950USQS5CRH1? I haven't been able to use my phone for two days because of this boot-loop and my carrier won't help me at all because my warranty expired in July.
