new i-mate rom...changes the buttons? bak 2 normal?!?!?

just flashed the new i-mate rom
seems good
BUT...
second line of buttons on the keyboard are out of sinc...for example...wher normally @ would appear ! appears instead
does anyone know how to get them back to normal...its sooo anoying?!?!

6965 joystick

i own 6965 and hav a very wierd problem with the joystick.while movin my joystick thru the menu options it automatically starts movin rapidly.
eg - if i am browsin top to down then it starts moving very fast and even if i leave the joystick it keeps moving until i move the joystick again.
can any1 throw some lite on this issue

I have a 6945 that does the same thing. You know what I did about it...bought an AT&T Tilt. Problem went away.

download sk-tools then try all cleanups -reg,auto,temp..etc
then SR and see if all is good now
one more thing is to backup your device then performe HR-hard reset
if the joystik is ok try to finnd the software that ....

my 6915 does the same. Just another unfixed bug from HP.

OPTICAL JOYSTICK gone haywire

hi everyone, i was wonderining if anyone else has a problem with there optical joystick...
mine rapidly scrolls downwards through any menu, etc at all times even when not being pressed ...
atm i have disabled the joystick, but i would like to see it working again as the d-pad buttons are very clunky and non-ergonomic

I have the same problem since this morning ....

I have my X1 since 2weeks and it is already broken ?! Too bad cause this optical joystick is really convenient ....
Did you use a cooked rom ?

yeah i used one of itjes roms and the OJ instantly behaved normal

sometimes could be a program that you insalled that caused the problem, if I would be in your place I would hard reset the device and than test it again.

when my OJ was faulty even a hard reset would not change anything, i think its due to the crappy r1a stock rom

I had that problem with the XT9 input extracted from ITJE's ROM. I uninstalled it and everything went fine again.

I am using the last Itje rom (5.04) too ... Could it be the problem ?
Mmh i don't think there is a XT9 on this Rom (Finger keyboard 2 doesn't see it) but if any Sfkn2 could you please tell us how to uninstall it ?
Another lead is that it is since i cleaned it with handkerchief for optical glasses.
Sometimes the joystick have a regular behavior, until i clean it with this things.
My best advice would be not using it even if they say there is no alcohol into it.

[BUG] Touchscreen sometimes does not work

Hi everybody !
Sometimes, (i don't know when), My Jade doesn´t response to touchscreen tapping...
I can use hardware buttons and, by using a remote control soft, the phone works fine...
I need to remove the battery to "switch on" the touchscreen.
Any idee ?

Maybe, if you try a hard reset....
Backup your data before the hard reset!
And see if the bug continues.

it looks to be the only way to solve this problem...

For your information, i'm using a beta version of a future HTC rom...
it could be the reason why the touchscreen crashs...

Power button helps
Same problem here, pressing the power button to of and on again works... I can use the touch screen again...

hi i have the same problem with my elfin. if i use the power on/off button the screen works to select items.

QTEK S-200 :
The touch screen works sometimes with fingers or stylus, sometimes freezes completely and sometimes only works with the buttons. I've done hard reset and still the same ... Will be hardware problem? Happened suddenly ... Already open it and did not see anything. Memory ? CPU ?
Some opinions ?

1: upgrade or downgrade your device...when not solved try option 2
2: replace toucscreen...my assumption touchscreen error
