Problem after upgrading

I've performd the LvsW AKU2.3, but after the upgrade the system hangs on the splashscreen displaying de IPL, SPL and OS versions...
Can anybody help me with this problem ? Is there like a rom recovery tool or something?

Some more info:
IPL 2.10.0001
SPL 2.20.0001
GSM 02.47.21
OS 2.20.7.34

same problem here. How did you fixed this problem?

Press and hold the camera button then press the reset button once. after that u release the cam button. u will see a colored red and green something screen.
In this mode u canupgrade ur prophet with any rom u want. The upgrade tool can read out ur device in this mode. I suggest u use a rom made for the prophet lol

u mean that we can take any original rom to recover ! ?then we can run the upgrade at winxp via usb to upgrade ?

Well... theres nothing much to it...
When u press the camera button and the reset button at the same time and hold the camera button when u release the reset button, the device goes to a special boot mode or something...
What u see is a red-green-blue screen with the IPL and SPL version and at the bottom of the screen u see USB when u connect the usb cable.
To do next is run de original rom as u would do with a normal upgrade. Difference is that there's no sync active, just that windows detects a usb device.

I don't know if all the device's can run in this 'boot' mode, i guess u should upgrade ur IPL first in that case.. but i don't know the procedure for that unfortunately.. im new here too

oh and just in case:
The camera button is the top left button and the reset button can only be pressed with something pointy like ur stylus and is positioned at the bottom just on the left side of the usb connector

HTC P3400 Bricked Help needed.

Hi,
while updating my ROM of HTC P3400, i have bricked it. Now when i press any button on the phone nothing happens. Only red and green light flashes once and nothing else happens. No bootloader mode (tri color). No battery charging indication nothing. Phone is compeletely dead. I have some ROM images and set of tools (mentioned on this site) available with me. Please help me recovering my cell phone. let me know some links etc or any other means of getting my cell phone back.
I am in need of desperate help.

if u tried olip's method n ur mobile is not working.this indicates u hav new gene.proceed from step no.4 from here

i am not able to come in Boot loader mode as well. When i press cmaera key with power on key...nothing happens. Battery is also not out. i have tried my phone's battery successfully in frn'z cell.

Power on your device. When the leds blinks hold camera button and reset the device. That way you should go to bootloader mode and flash another rom.
When I have that problem I solve this way.

htc gene bricked
guys I have the same problem. My htc gene is bricked.I have tried all the methods. I am unable to recover using Orefkov's method. When I try to press power key or soft reset button , onlr red and green light blinks. Nothing else happens. I am even not getting the tri color screen.please help me.

I have the same problem when i enter to bootloader the usb appears on the bottom of screen but i can"t execute the ""mitty.exe""".there is no usb button...

Right click on the Activesync icon and deactivate USB Connection. Wait for the device to be recognized, if it is not being recoginized, change the cable.

I also get a USB at the lest bottom coner!
I do not know how i can find a rom that is corect for my gene 3400 also if you can pleass let me know were i can find the tool to load the new rom too that would be the best

You can install any ROM you feel like, the choice is yours - just make sure that it says that it is for "New Gene"

PPL, I've tried all of it.. hold the camera key and reset/power on etc but my p3400 denies to boot. only answer n disconnect key blinks while trying to reset.
while trying to press the power on key nothing happens,,, no led blinks at all....

When I m trying to upload ROM, it is showing : error 300 invalid update tool
Pls help.

[Q] HTC Touch HD problem !

Hello guys.. well i have a Blackstone HTC Touch HD..
I've got a big problem !
The htc wont start ! Nothing happens when i push the on/off button..
When i put in the charger.. the orange light turns on for some seconds.. then it turns off.. and then the phone turns on.. it shows "Smart Mobility" and vibrates..
Then it restarts.. and shows it again.. and again..
It keeps doing that..
What is the problem ? Can i solve this ?

Is this a new device? Have you recently flashed any new roms/software onto device?
If I where you I'd try a hard reset. To hard reset device:
1. Turn off device
2. Hold down vol up & vol down
3. Continue to hold down vol up & vol down and press power on button at top of HD
4. You will be presented qith a white screen & blue text
5. Follow instruction and restore factory settings (Hard reset) by pressing vol up.
If this doesn't work and device is still playing up and its a new device without any new rom/software on it I'd return it and get a replacement. The alternative would be to flash a new rom on it, but if its faulty device from start I wouldn't recommend this and I'd return it.

Ah, so you just found the device and decided to keep it...LOL
Well seeing as you can get it into bootloader, you are able to flash new roms onto device. All you need to do is follow guide in my signature.
The only other options would be to return it under insurances/warranty. But seeing as both are unavailable to you as phone isn't yours.............. If I was you I'd return device anyway and maybe the rightful owner may show some gratitude and give you an award!!
Choice is yours!!!
EDIT
You may also find that the orginal owner has put a phone lock on device rendering phone useless anyway unless you know security code. I have similar lock on mine. If this is the case, be kind enough to return it to rightful owner!!

don't panic
to enter boot loader just on device
press and hold camera button and press soft reset button .

remove battery and then hold power button for 20 seconds (this will remove stored power from device )
then insert battery
press and hold camera button then press power to bootloader

i was updating this rom "RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79.90_Ship" after 100% complete it turns off , but not start only Green and red light flash during press reset button...
i was try all methods,#remove batery 20 sec and then start with camer button & both camera and voice button. but result is same...
#No indication during Charging.,no usb detected in PC.

I have a HTC P3400i GENE100. I successfully installed orefkov SPL and then upgraded my original ROM WM 6.0 to cooked wm 6.5. After installation my device was too slow than before hence I flashed it with RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79 .90_Ship.exe. After flashing it 100 % my New Gene restarted, but didnt boot to booting screen. Its not going into bootloader mode also. It shows blank screen i.e. black. I tried several combinations of keys (Camera + Power button or Camera + Reset or by pressing both "-" button + Reset) for going it to bootloader mode. But none of them working. When I plug in charger the green & red light blinks once and nothing else. Same if I press reset with stylus, the green & red light blinks once and nothing else happens. I know that I have bricked my New Gene, when I flashed the ROM, which was meant for Old Gene, which I came to know after reading the posts in this forum. I have to use JTAG Method for recovering my Gene. Hence I have read many posts about it in this forum. But can any one of the great masters here, help me with a proper guide that can help me recover my Gene 100%.

[Q] Boot problem

Hi all,
I have this problem:
1) I tried install MAGLDR 1.13 on my phone and started ROM update utility. Update run everything ( On the screen was update from 3.15 to 2.00 ROM????? I dont understand)
2) After restart the white screen with HTC Logo is displayed and nothing - no response
3) The bootloader by pressing vol. down+ power does not work. I press everything (vol + and -) and still same - white screen with logo.
4) I cant use standart flash by PC conection, because phone didnt connect to PC.
Please, is there any help how to install bootloader and new ROM from SD card? Or other way how to repair it.

PS: Please use some kind of easy English, my English is little poor and some technical words should be problem

Ive had the same problem, your bootloader is kind of broken! In 1 out of 50 tries you will reach the bootloader and then immideatly flash original spl and a stockrom.
Then send it to htc for warranty

pres first on volume down button and then pressing power button . volume down button hold on to you in the colored screen. Once on colored screen with usb on pc and wm rom flashing.
