Just wondering if anyone expanded their CommManager like the one here. Too bad the icons are for HTC CommManager.

I thought you can also install this panel for X1, check out the Touch-IT Manila thread.
i would quite like a comm manager with all of those options in it rather than replacing some with others ...
Ya. Kinda like X1's own CommManager, so if possible, I'd like to stick to it (rather than change to HTC's).
I need Help please.
My Comm Manager looks like a wreck after I installed Touch IT BlackStone CommManager on it because I reckon it's the wrong resolution. How do I solve this problem without hard resetting the whole phone? Now, I tried to uninstall the Touch It CommManager and it says it can't uninstall properly: still remains on the list. Can I download the original X1 Commmanager to replace the old one? Where can I find it?
X1's Comm looks 10 times better IMO.
Well so far no one's come up with any new icons for the X1's CommManager.

Hello,
i´am new in this forum and my English is not so good.
I try to explain you my problem. I made a cab to install OzVGA on the Ameo it works but i have some failure.
* Icon "Soundlevel" is not available
* Icon "Network" is not available
* CommManager is blurred
Maybe there is someone who can help me or somebody knows the way to switch the icons in the title bar a litttle bit to the left side. I guess the problem with the icons is being caused by shortage of space.
Screenshot
You might try looking in the universal forums. There were some screend fixes for OzVga when the universal came out. Also, VJ555 made some different screens for use with OZVga and True VGA.

I have installed your *.cab file. I have the same problems.
Excuse the simple question..... but is the device better with Ozvga and the problems, than without it installed and how do you overcome the lack of icons?
Many Thanks
Tim
I guess it is better with OzVGA and the problems. I`ve installed SPB Pocket Plus and use it to change the volume. When i want to see the status of the Network i put the Keyboard on the Ameo, the Symbols in this mode are o.k. or i try to dial and wait what happens ;-)
I guess it has more advantages than disadvantages and there is no risk, you can change back to SeVGA every time.
Hi Bigsmart and thanks for the info
Run the CAB file and soft reset of your device.
Having this skin, you can choose type and quantity of active functions. You can edit the register or use Schaps Advanced Configration Tool v 3.x to do it.
This solution don't replace the existing CommManager. You can use both. Use the Advavanced Config to choose between skins:
On/Off Button - for standard Diamond skin
Large Button - for Kaiser or DiamondStyle skins.
Buttons names will be displayed in your language.
In Dimond Style skin you can use 7 to 10 buttons (from 12).
WARNING! When you use 10 buttons, place the Sound/Vibrate button in last line for better performance.
In Kaiser skin - 10 buttons (from 12).

Many thanks Balu888 and Nemos (4pda.ru) for drawings updated.
Thanks! I never quite liked having to compromise some options and decide which 6 to include in the original Comm Manager.
Now I can have them all!!!!
Many thanks
Thanks. Nice to see all the communication options all at once rather than a limit.
Now all we need is for one of our skinning masters to come up with a more diamond looking interface and this will be really cool.
EDIT: Just noticed there is no option to turn off 3G!
Can this be made a tab in TF3D?
I renewed the graphic files (Look in the preview), but i´m not able, to make a cab out of these files. I don´t have the knowledge in this way. If someone want´s to make this job, i post here the changed graphics. But at 1st it would be good, to get a feedback.
To integrate it in TF3D, you can use the Softkey Changer. With this program you can replace one tab of the homescreen from Programs or else to Comm Manager.
Is it possible to make a 3G button. I use it a lot to save battery.
New idea
Here I have tried to make skin in Diamond CommMamager style .
Having this skin , you can choose type and quantity of active functions from 7 to 10 (12 accessible). You can edit the register or use Schaps Advanced Configration Tool v 3.2 to do it. Now you don't need to change buttons pictures as in Kaiser CommManager.
BUT I haven't standard icons for buttons InternetSharing and VOIP to finish this work.
Send me, pls... who has...
I´ve got it to run...with some tricks. But i don´t like, that this module don´t recognize, that there are masked .png-files. So all, what should be invisible, is now white. But the functions are okay. It integrates itself into the Comm Manager in the Connection-Tab. But not in the new seperate Comm Manager tab, that´s a problem.
Also there are little graphic errors, which are not in the original graphics.

Really like the concept here. Might need some work on cleaning up the images and maybe adding a little depth. Great work though.
Ive tryed it now. I cant delete it at all. When i try to delete it, and when i try to open the comm manager again, ill get a black screen, with white text from kaisers comm manager

Check the registry keys, for Diamond standard must be:
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\CommManager]
SupportedFunctions=6
DisableButtonText=3
For Kaiser:
SupportedFunctions=10
DisableButtonText=2
And soft-reset, of course...
Or use Advanced Config \CommManager: choose your 6 function and On/Off Buttons.
i tried more commanager and now i have nothing !!!
somebody can put here the original htc diamond commanager (vga) ?

You mean found the solution to delete it and install the original Comm Manager, or found the solution to make it work ? If the answer is the second one, please share it with us !!!!!
This is very nice thank you.
will this replace the existing comms manager? I'd like to have both on my device and remove the new one without problems if I decide.

Drawings are updated - many thanks Nemos (4pda.ru), missing icons are added. But without album orientation.
You can use 7 to 10 buttons (from 12).

Looks great... just two question :
- only for russian ?
- is it possible to uninstall it and go back to default settings ?
But it would be nice to have more than 6 items on the diamond !
Ciao

Thanks, but either it was a misunderstanding, or it doesn't work for my PAQ-Rom.
The windows - start button behaves like bevore, just the the TF3D app-page appears new.

In addition to these teaks?
(They were originally postet above, but are missing now due to the problems on the biard last night.)
To enable "old" LargeMenu (Disable new manila start menu):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu\Enable ManilaStartMenu =dword:00000000
To show favorites programs page on manila:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\Manila://programs.page.hidden =dword:00000000
I installed tsowens icons and lost the rhodium start menu. I have searched through the registry and tried different tweaks all to no avail. Anyone any ideas?
Thanks

Thank's, but I was looking for comm manager that has Beam and GSM on/off in it! This one doesn't
just a little question and a headsup:
Q: That Comm Manager cab that is posted, does it also contain the new wi-fi settings, bluetooth connect dialog and phone-settings?
(I have mine cooked in so don't need it, but it's nice knowing what it contains and what it doesn't contain).
The other thing:
The HD Weather Tab link that is posted is a link to the version from the Touch HD. The one you asked for in your screenshots is the (newer) one from the Rhodium Manila. I don't if there is a separate tab for yet.

That comm manager looks like it's stock, I even didn,t open the wifi setting neather bluetooth or phone, I unninstaled it becouse it wasn't what I was looking for.
You saying that you have comm manager, that looks like in the screenshot?
With the beam and gsm on it? Maybe you hav a cab and can share it with me?
You are right about the weather tab, it's not like in the screen shot, but does the job for now
But yes, would be nice to get the hands on the new one, from Rhodium Manila!

The detail goes in the on/off switches. The new Comm Manager, you can click on the line 'Wi-Fi', and separately on the on/off switch. Clicking the switch turns it on/off, clicking on the word / text goes to the setting screen.
I have it yeah, but the only _few_ versions I've seen are ment to be cooked in, I never seen a CAB. Kinda the reason why I asked what that cab was that was posted, because it is (or would've been) the first CAB of the new Comm Mananger and setting-screens.
The squished graphics aren't 'fixable'. That screen is ment for a 480x800 device and is just plain resized to fit your 480x640. On the new RhodiumManila VGA port they didn't just resize, but actually modified the layout so it would fit and make more sense on a 480x640 screen, so yeah. it fits and looks better .
Why don't you take a new ROM with all of this in it and working? Because a lot of the new 'toys' out there require a custom ROM with newer build anyway.

At last, I found my dream comm manager
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402012
I have a ROM that I like (in my signature) it's fast and stock, so I deside what I want an what I don't Other rom's maybe good by they modified by the chief's taste and what is important for him, my need may be different
Still would be nice to get the hands on that better weather tab
so does this new topaz comm manager cab work an if so does it work correctly and is it uninstallable???

For the next time, launch Advanced Config, goto Menu\More Steengs\Comm Manager. You'll be able to select the CommManager style (Big button or ON/OFF button) and the items displayed from the following list (Flight mode, Phone, Bluetooth, Wireless Lan, MS Direct Push, Data Connection, Beam, Ringer, Activsync, VoIP, Internet sharing and 3G)
By the way p.brazauskas, what's the point of getting the beam switch when there's no infrared on a Diamond ? It's totally pointless, isn't it ?

As I read in this forum, Beam manages bluetooth, and when it's turned off it saves power (bluetooth doesn't work if beam is off).
Also why would developers put beam swith in they software, if it was useless?
