Transcriber - phone pad rom Ita tim problem

Hy.
I have had to make a hardware reset.
Now,I do not have more the trascriber and if I install the phone pad international it does not work more.
I do not have more in the folder windows the file in order to make to leave the msn.
Please what can i do?
I've unlock external rom and i've only 3 files cab.
My rom is the last 11/28/06
1.20.408.1 (brand tim)
I've try to install calligrapher 8.3 too .. but.. it did not work

Ok. i've found solution in another thread. i use now sipchange.exe and phone pad work correctly.
I'v installed windows live messenger mobile and work fine...

It let´s you select the type of input you want in my case the phone pad didn´t work until i instal this wonderfull program.

Ok , I've changed some values in the registry.

New Spanish ROM wm6.1 "Señores del Mal" by Dr. Moriarty

Here I leave with you for being my birthday my private Rom, which I use. This rom is the fastest I've tested so far
I have removed:

hi planagan you can use this rom is very very fast and this rom is clean but it has a lot of program, an example: phm registry, modaco nodata, gfinder, contactpm, cleam up temporaly, pocket scream shot... this rom has disable touch flo and thanks that it come to 69 mb ram and 131 of storage

[Q] A truly clean ROM??

Hi,
I've been searching this forum for quite a long time now (months by now, in intervals of course), and I have not been able to find an updated 'clean/light ROM'. With clean/light, I mean stripped of all unneeded stuff to boot. A true barebone...
The only ROM I was able to find, is the one Onkolog made some time ago, but (s)he decided to abandon the project for personal reasons. (this project was updated last in July 2009)
The only 'clean ROMs' that I can find, are ROMs that 'don't add a lot of stuff' (some that only remove the HTC-interface). But they mostly still contain stuff like Office, Youtube, etc. etc.

Also, there is Siemens Lover's WM 6.5 Clean ROM here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=634514
I have NOT tried any of those "clean" ROMs, so you have to check for yourself...

Thanks for your reply, but those are not clean as what I call clean.
Both contain unneceray apps.
The first link contains among other things: Office, pocketRAR
The second link I am using now, but contains all kinds of apps too, like: Office, Media Player
What I mean is a 'truly clean ROM', only the base OS (What you get when you disable Titanium or Sense) and no other unnecessary (for OS-purposes) apps. It can of course contain some optimizations and/or driver updates, but that's it.

this belongs to general thread since it has nothing to do with development
try several roms and decide which one suits you best i suggest kwbr (it has just a few oem apps) it is far most stable and fast...you might want to try titanium version since it has most free space,that will enable you to install whatever you want (mobile shell,wad etc)

Dude, if you want a really clean ROM, try onkolog's cookies. His thread is somewhere here, just use search.

The Progs that u do not want take a minimum space and use no memory when they r disabled, so i do not understand why r u looking for such a naked ROM? can u explain plz?

By clean OP means not just "some speed improvements and everything is stock" but a really cleaned up ROM without WM and HTC crap, so HE can decide what to use in his device.

And what should/should not be included in such a ROM?

Well, just essentials that keep our device running (drivers, wmp [because of hardware acceleration] etc.). Something like that.

The idea, as stated by others is to have a clean phone, with as little preinstalled applications on it, as possible. Of course most applications/features take a minimum amount of resources, and basically 'just sit there', but it's also the principle to not have all kinds of stuff on my phone, that I don't want.
The most ideal would be to strip everything except for the following:
Basic Windows Mobile (so the start-button, and the screens you get when you browse through your apps and settings)
Phone
Messaging
Contacts
Calendar
File Explorer
ActiveSync
Camera
And the following as removable packages (or provide the packages loose (unless they are available elsewhere on xda-developers (haven't looked))):
QuickGPS
The picture viewer
WMP
Internet Explorer
That's it... The above is what I call "clean", package wise.
Just add (about) three standard ringtones and message-tones (preferable some neutral one's)
Check Onkolog's latest ROM's as a reference. He provided what he removed/kept out in his ultra lite ROMs... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=502618

cisto radi pravila cu ja sad da puknem nesto ko da lafo pricamo
well,yes it is,but interesting thing about kwbr rom is that it made me like sense,which is very quick in this rom (although i hated sense before trying kwbr,because sense roms were sooooo slow....i believe because other chefs put latest versions which are LEO builds,and kwbr used a bit older version which is a RHODIUM build...he's a brilliant cook)

GPS showing me in the wrong place

Hello,
lately i have been having some trouble with my phone, the GPS sometimes gives me some huge localization errors. I'm running stock rom with stock configuration.
Has anyone encountered the same problem? Can someone help me?

L.E: the phone is not and has never been rooted, it runs on the official stock rom.

Well, try another ROM then. Also try flashing compatible radio.

Nu e o problema specifica unei singure aplicatii, am observat ca de obicei ma pozitioneaza eronat timp de cateva minute dupa care revine. Problema e ca daca folosesc un program (gps tracker, foursquare, facebook, aplicatii de sfa cu inregistrare a locatiei, etc) care trebuie sa imi inregistreze locatia in momentul acela, o va lua in considerare pe cea eronata.

Samsung ativ s with cortana italian lang

I follow the guide to install Windows 10 Phone tp with no luck.
But after a restart and searching For normal updates i find a new one and gave after update italian Cortana.
No bug of loop restarting
May someone want to try with other languages and confirm that

I had the boot loop when first update to cortana comes out.
I flash back to gdr3 then updated again but without cortana.
Now i tried again

Then you probably HAD the 2424.14.9.3 firmware.
When you flashed gdr3 back you reverted to some older firmware and you didn't receive the update to 2424.14.9.3 anymore.
I had the same "issue", I had to revert to gdr2 to get the 2424.14.9.3 firmware update again, yet I can't update to Cortana if I don't want to boot loop.
Still the 2424.14.9.3 firmware is the official one for WP8.1 Update 1, you are missing the new icons on the top bar

Si, ho l'Ativ. Non mi pento mai di WP però di certo la storia del loop boot non è stata bellissima. / Yes, I do am Italian and I do have an Ativ. I do not regret picking WP but for sure I didn't appreciate the boot loop accident.

Follow the guide in the immage

That's exactly what I did, it worked but that code is for Lumia 1520 (6") and now I see everything a little too small ...
for example the icons in the top bar or I can't choose to have only 2 columns anymore

After the update revert the registry key to the original value and reboot your Ativ S and all retutn normally
Default values are:
HKLM \ SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MTP
"DataStore" = C:\Data\Users\PUBLIC
HKLM\SYSTEM\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo
"PhoneManufacturer" = SAMSUNG
HKLM\SYSTEM\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo
PhoneManufacturerModelName = GT-I8750

THank you, this was already what I was trying to do ... but modded Developer Preview disappeared from the list so I have to start all over to edit registry ._.
I'll let you know if it works
Do you have suggestions about how to force the new Samsung Firmware ? He has Cortana but not the fw ...

I don't Know in My situation before I have last Samsung firmware and with this trik I have last PFD
In My opinion you must to follow this iter:
Have interop unlock on Your Ativ S
Unblock Your RPC (put Non-production Error.txt on Your documents folder on Your phone (is a empty txt file with that name))
Update until the last Samsung firmware
Update until the last PFD before Cortana in Italian (before bootloop)
Use Marass82 trik
Update Your Ativ S
Revert to the original registry key

Sorry I think I missed a topic regarding this some times ago :

What does this exactly do ? I fixed my situation without doing this
Anyway the only way I saw so far to trigger the last Samsung Ativ S FW update is to rollback to GDR2 and then update ...
