Can I update ota if I rooted my phone, flashed a new rom, added a theme? Haven't messed with deleting bloatware.... if I can't update ota is the only way to update to .340 is downloading the update.zip right?

Root doesn't matter. The rom and theme are probably going to kill you. Try getting a stock odexed 2.3.15 rom from somewhere. I'm pretty sure you could get it from the TBH app. If that doesn't work and you really want to go the OTA method, you'll have to SBF back to 2.3.15.
The other method would be to get the 2.3.320 update.zip (for the bootloader+kernel) from TBH, and then flash their system only 2.3.340 SBF.
I was wondering if I was rooted (overclocked) and I didn't get the OTA update for Gingerbread, is there any way I could get the official T-Mobile Gingerbread OTA from another source?

If you are rooted, why would you want the OTA?
But yes, you can download it. Download the OTA now from the dev section. And just save it on your PC till you need it.
And when I'm ready to flash it do I go through Bootloader without root?

The official ROM is here:

But if you flash this, you will lose root, and not be able to root w/o downgrading (same as the OTA).
This one is rooted, and probably what you want to flash. Flash from ROM Manager or Recovery:

Hi, I have a rooted Nexus S 4G with the stock rom but a different kernel and CWM recovery. I have received the OTA update for ICS but can't install it. I was wondering what I can do to go back to stock kernel and stock recovery to install the OTA update so I don't have to wipe all my data and worry about that.
Is it possible? Where are the stock kernel files and how do I do the recovery?
Thanks.
Nooooooooooooo
Could you please provide a working link?

Download these files:
2.3.5 Full ROM
2.3.7 Incremental Update.
4.0.4 Incremental Update (If you already got the update notification, you can copy this from /cache to the sdcard.)
Superuser.
Recovery Saver.
Flash the zips in this order:
504d...
2e8d...
TAMkDR3z
Superuser
Leave_the_twrp_alone
This will not work in twrp recovery 2.1. Use twrp 2.0 or earlier, or clockworkmod.
Protip: Some root apps requireBusyBox.
Does anyone know where I can find the latest OTA?
The reason why I'm.looking for it is because I live outside the US and the phone don't update via OTA because the phone wasn't activated with a Verizon SIM, so the only method to update is via flashable OTA through the stock recovery.
I'm currently looking for the "G930VVRU4BQK4" OTA.
Im using the G930VVRU4ZPK4
I don't want to lose any of my data that's why I'm not using the ODIN method.
Thanks.
