[Q]VoIP Help! - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

Hello!
I installed destr0_VOIP_WM61___SIP_Config_1.1.CAB as it was the only one that allows me to have GPS and voip working at the same time.
How ever, the problem is whenever i recieve a call to my voip i cannot answer or ignore. Infact i cannot do anything. The pda does not freeze but the anser and ignore window stays ontop and i cant do anything. What ever i hit, its as if i never hit it. Even when im using the answer button on my bluetooth headset. I have tried with and without and its same problem. Also when someone calls me it would say number unavailable but on my pda it says Available, i have tried switching between selected and available, its the same. Theres some other serious problems.
Could anyone help me? Much appreaciated!
I've tried various radios and its same problem with all. Im using SwiftBL's rom 7.0 Full
Thank you!

No phonecall when Bluetooth + network

I found out some strange bug:
When my TYTN is connected to the network (UMTS) and bluetooth is switched on too I can not make telephone calls. TYTN starts dialing but disconnects after 5 sec. (No errormessage, but plays a sound 3 times (something like: ding…ding…ding).
Incoming calls do not get trough too (Only busy tone).
When I switch off Bluetooth or network connection everything works fine again.
I searched this forum up and down, but found no answer.
Am I the only one or did somebody notice this bug too?
i found that i cannot use my phone at all if i restart my phone with BT and wifi on somtimes, removing the bt and wifi seems to fix it for me. strange eh?
i often get phone failed.
Its annoying. I am always afraid that I forget to switch off the Networkconnection after I have checked emails or was surfing in the internet.
Its the basic purpos of a phone to be reachable.
Am I the only one with this problem? Is something wrong with my phone?
Sorry to poll this.
But nobody else has noticed this?
Hey folks,
Am I the only one with this bug ?
Really need help for this problem
I forgot to post that my problem has gone.
It definitly was a network problem caused by my networkprovider "One Austria" (now Orange).
After a long call with the technical support they changed some of their serversettings
and wow this problem is gone.
Never happened again (since 6 month)
Hope this helps someone

Orbit WLAN not working and calls cannot be made or received

Hi Guys,
Please help! I have an XDA Orbit that I have put various different ROMS that I have experimented with. Now I have one that I like I am having a couple of issues.
Firstly, I cant make or receive calls with any SIM card in the phone. It is showing as full reception and does fluctuate as it should but can't make calls. When dialling it just makes 3 beeps after a few seconds and cuts off. Not even emergency calls can be made.
Secondly, although I beleive related to the above, my WIFI does not work. I switch it on and get the hour glass but then nothing happens.
I have re-flashed ROMS to it but to no avail. Even the orginal ROMS but still it does not go away. I will try GPS later today to see if it works and will post results.
I have flashed all radio versions hoping it will solve the problem but hasn't.
Any ideas?
WLAN not working now
Hi Guys,
Answering part of my question myself here but just to let you know the update.
I have managed to fix the calling out and not receiving call issue.
It seems that when I was experimenting with different ROMS on my Orbit I somehow managed to corrupt the IMEI number on the phone. This was causing it to think it was a 'barred' or 'blocked' phone. Therefore not allowing calls.
Quick search on this forum and I found a tool called 'Wizard Service Tool' and changed the IMEI back to orginal and all working fine now except...
WLAN is not working. I suppose the MAC address may have been corrupted also? Anychance I can check this? Or does anyone know how to restore it? I will be searching all day for this so any assistance will be appreciated.
If I manage to fix I will post my results.
You know you can just reflash the radio, you could try the latest version it may help. It is dead easy to find. It will have new wifi, bluetooth, and gsm.
I have tried to flash radio/new rom/hard reset to no avail.
It is a problem with the mac address on the phone. for some reason it gets wiped/corrupted when installing\experimenting with the vanilla roms.
but thanks for the suggestion anyway
any suggestions?
Guys any suggestions????????????

Hi, thanks for response
question...do you have the problem that the x1's bluetooth is turning off randomly?
yes I have had the bluetooth problem and also my email signature keeps going back to the default one which is annoying.
Same problem
I have exactly the same problem. The bluetooth connection gets lost. And sometimes my phone has according to the HCB-700 an empty callers list.
This problem seems to have gone away since the rom update that is floating around as I had it until I put on Jack's 2.4 rom easily available on this forum.
problem with HCB 700 and X1
I have same problem of bluetooth turning off randomly and disconnecting from the HCB 700. This is so annoying.. what should I install? Please advise.

Could you please tell me how to do it and which one to use and where can i find it? Do i need to backup all the data on the device?
Switch to the rom development forum and choose a rom. Follow the instructions to install for one of the unofficial (but better) roms.
In certain countries you can get official updates from SE too.
Yes you will need to backup your data unless you keep it on a storage card as I do.

MB Bluetooth - cannot answer call

I have successfully connected HD2 to the bluetooth feature in my MB C200. I can dial and make calls, even decline calls but cannot always answer calls by pressing the "answer" call in the car console. The phone just keeps ringing. It only works like 1 in 10 times. It is like the Bluetooth signal from the car is not been recognised by HD2.
I have tried most of the registry tweak suggested in this forum but it didn’t help. I use the Telstra model and have recently upgraded to the latest ROM but still no difference. Anyone else has this problem?
ROM: 1.72.841.0 (82124)
Radio: 2.07.51.22_2
did you check the option in the phone settings to allow the phone call to be accepted by the bluetooth?

Where is this option exactly? Can't seems to find it in the Personal->Phone settings.
Hi !
I've the exact same problem and I'm going nuts as I miss a lot of professional calls.
Does anyone find a solution ?
Never had any issues with my old good HD.
Hope it can be fixed.
BR
Nobody ?
I've tried the allow connection, but that doesn't helps at all.
Hope for a solution soon, otherwise the HD2 will go to trash right away.
Msg to HTC :
TEST YOUR PHONES ! and employ good developers and testers.
Too many bugs and non practical things with your devices.

[Q] HD2 cant call out/in. But SMS, 3G internet etc works?

I've searched for a solution on the forum. Some people have 'somewhat' similar problems. But usually something small differs, and their suggested solutions wont work for me.
I have tried wipe, wipe and wipe, Task29 and yes the SD-card aswell with SD-formatter with the correct settings. But we can outrule the SD-card as I've tried different cards aswell. One solution was to flash the latest radio 2.15... didn't work either. My problem is that my issue with not be able to call out or receive a call is there whether I use a stock Win-rom, a cocked win-rom or any android nand rom. It just does not want to connect calls, closes down saying "Call ended Not connected" on one of the latest MIUI roms. SMS, MMS and Internet (data) works and I have full signal.
Is there anything else you can come up with that I could try that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Have you tried a different SIM? they can fail as well
Yes, I've tried that too.

sms goes thru like a phone call, so not sure how you can send SMS but not make a call.
I would take out the battery for like 5 hours and try again, are you still in warranty? Could be a radio defect.
I'll try that thanks. Otherwise I'll consider it broken. The radio that is.
