hi,
i've seen the gsensor SDK.
here is my question:
is it possible to emulate the gsensors in the vs2008 ppc emulator?
in this way the debug should be quicker.
thanks

Just wondered if there's an emulator I can run on my machine to e.g. test Roms and/or software before actually installing it on my device?

There is a program called Microsoft Device Emulator 2.0, I haven't set it up yet, but you could google it.
Found it on Google Will defendly try later, thanks!
How do I run this? Do I need Vis Studio 2005? I suppose so, after what I can read on the download site.
I am looking for any information on how to setup Jbed (JVM on my Kaiser, WM6) to do remote (on-device debugging) debugging.
I am using NetBeans IDE 6.0 on a Windows XP machine, with a USB connection to my phone. I am able to create java applications and run them on my phone but some of them I need to debug on the phone.
Any help would be appreciated as it appears emertec provides no help at all for developing for their Jbed JVM.
- Thanks
I want to port some fairly simple command-line utilities from desktop win32 to mobile. I have the powertoys console working, so all is fine there.
I have evc4, but I can't fathom how to build a console application. I just want to take some regular ISO C and build it, but evc is forcing me to have a WinMain, and there's no mainCRTStartup in the library to use as an alternate entrypoint.
I've googled and found nothing.
I'd appreciate some pointers from someone who has done this! Or is EVC just the wrong tool?
Cheers,
Graham.
Hello all,
Is it possible to install the Java Development Kit for our Windows Mobile phone? I want to be able to run java/class files on the java virtual machine in my phone. If this is possible to do please help me out. Thanks!
Hello there,
I'm developing applications for (i. e.) Acer A500 and need to use some of the Android SDK tools like hierachyviewer etc. which work on developer version of Android only (I need to use them on the real device, not emulator). I don't have any of that version and what's more don't know where to get it - so I thought about rooting my device - will it enable those tools on that device? Or do I have to install some mods?
Thanks in advance for the info.
It did work for me but I only tried a few adb and ddms commands.
That's great, can you confirm hierarchyviewer working? (Is it possible to load View Hierarchy for custom app?)
