MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
Here's my gift for everyone, a bit late, but hey, I DO have a life ^^
ChristmasXed is a Christmas-themed version of the puzzle game Xed, with more than 2000 levels !
Move the blocks left or right, and form groups of 2 or more to have them disappear...
Though it sounds simple, every move can block you from winning, so be carefull ! Lets see if you can finish every level with the minimum number of moves...
Besides the Christmas Theme, 2 other block skins are available, and more to come as soon as I find a graphist to work on it ^^

Nice game, enjoying it very much. Now am I being dumb or are some of them not possible? For example, Level "Piggies" in "Classic Levels" only has 1 drum symbol. Am I missing something? I'm also struggling with most of the "Classic 2" set...

Just checked out the level, and there is indeed a problem ^^ The original levels were in 10x8 tiles, and for space reasons I set it down to 8x6 because the outermost tiles were never used... Guess I was wrong ! In the original game (playable here : http://www.jeuxvideo-flash.com/jeu-1097-flashxed.php ) this level uses the left-most and right-most tiles :s I'll correct that and post an update with new graphics (hopefully) and all

I've seen the program beer on the internet for the iphone. its a app that simulate a full beer glass (see video link),
there is also another program for the nokia n95 called pypiwo that's simulating a beer to and many other drinks.
I thinks it's a very nice idea for a new app for the diamond .
it's not a very difficult concept, the only hard part is the graphical stuff(i think don't have much experience on making programs and graphical stuff ).
i'd love to make this app by my self but i don't have the knowledge for it (any tips/lecture for learning how to make this apps for the diamond is always welcome: D)
but to the point this thread is for your thoughts about this and to find someone to make this

the guitar programm would be useless for the diamond cause it dont hase multitouch.

svenss there is no ibeer app for the iphone, its just a lame trick, its just a pre-recorded video of bear, and what you do is sync the video on your iphone through itunes and then its all about timing, you just have to remember when the bear poures out, you run the video using the iphone and tilt it just at the right time, it does not make use of the g-sensor/accelerometer at all, its just a simple stupid video.
But im sure an app can be developed that can trully utilise the g-sensor but that would be a waste of time for developers as it would only be amusing for a day or two, your better of just downloading the video, convert it to something windows mobile can play.
no offence but i think that there are many better ideas than this

It's easier to carry an iphone than a guitar...
You guys complain about a beer app being useless, but what use is something as a Lightsaber app? Though that gets praised sky high! I think it's a funny idea, shows off the accelerometer of te Diamond which is bloody accurate and perfect for this stuff. Would love to make an app like that, if only I had ANY knowledge of programming

This >does< exist on the N95 and unlike the iPhone, works with the acc. meter.
I had it myself before trading it for the Diamond and had that software installed on the phone.
It was pretty accurate in the way I lifted it, the beer would move.
While it is a "waste" - I think it's a nice gimmick to have on the phone, whether its to show off or just some entertainment - like any other game that would be on it
I would love a beer program. That would be AWESOME to show off with at a party!
That could be a good learning app, maybe in a few weeks when I get my Pro I could try writing it.

i will make it for you guys but it wont look that pritty at least to start off as i dont have much time for it right now (work/uni) expect it in 1-2 weeks
im also making a Flow type game and i have already made 2 testing apps (a ball simulator using the g-sen and a magic 8 ball app where you can shake the diamond)
please donate as then i can mabey work a few less hours and actually make the apps im makeing a bit better cos ill have a bit more time..

Well.... I am for once happy with my titan.... It reminds me of a phone now.... No more typing messages and waiting for the characters to catch up.... No more horrific waiting of the screen to turn from portrait to landscape.... It's almost as if.... I upgraded the ram on my phone.. but i didnt.... All i did was install nuechems 6152-3pre3....and put it in the high mem mode... I was kinda sad about the high mem mode turning off the camera....but wow.... it was well worth it... Ephing amazing.... The best of the best.... but then i thought... it's too bland... so installed Manilla 2D..... WOW!!!! once again.... AMAZING.. and i'm not a lier... it's just as smooth as an IPHONE..... i'm talking about super smooth.. It's pretty much like butter....
No one asked me to write this.... But i wanted to give the people that made this possible, a big thank you.... I no longer want to throw my titan at a wall... I am no longer jealous of the IPHONE (though the text app on the iphone is still much cleaner looking) but wow.... thanks

....A couple days ago i stumbled accross an App for the iPhone called RulerPhone and i thought it would be a cool tool to have for the diamond. Since our diamonds screen isnt multitouch, the tool would have to do without it and the lost ease of navigation could be accomplished using additional onscreen buttons.
Here is a basic explanation of the tool. Lets say u need to measure the with of your bookcase but u dont have anything to measure it. well you could guess how wide it is, OR you take out your Diamond, place a creditcard in the case and take a picture of the bookcase from within DiamondRuler. Once the picture is taken, you align the creaditcard from the picture with the placeholder on your screen using the touchdisplay, the zoom buttons on the display and the NavWheel. Once u have it all aligned you lock the picture and now you can start measuring your bookcase. the diamond will calculate the distances for you.
Is there a developer out there willing to take on the task? Let me know via PM.

Must remember iphone GPS is rubbish....Iphone cant run all my favourite WM applications....
i remeber there was a ruler application for the N95..it could measure the distance between you and the object, height, angle...

Ok I can see some potential for this if it can be calibrated to any accuracy. But how would parallax errors be dealt with and also spherical aberration could cause problems.

i've this problem too .... touch screen dont seem to function well.
especially when i use swype ...sometimes, need to restart my phone...
i hope tytung will solve this with a patch

maybe you should list house chores that you want tytung to take care at the same time?, maybe your laundry or mow your lawn?. I am sure supporting you personally is much more important than things he is busy with, cause your are such a awesome senior member with almost 700 posts.
Edit: maybe you should also ask for his pinkie, I was told you might be able to use it as a wizard to solve any HD2 issue.

The touch panel driver is not developed by me.
I don't know how it works.
I guess it's Cotulla work.
No battery drain.
If you can fix it.. please try reducing the sensivity cuz i have one of the first Hd2.. they have a non accurate touchscreen.. when i start a doodle application.. i draw and i see my drawing is kinda like this ~~~~~~~~~~ instead of ----------------------- i dunno if you can understand my point.. cause a lot of people been having this problem in winmo and it got fixed by reducing the sensivity

Give him a break ^^ He's well occupied with GPS/A-GPS. Would be easier if another dev could work on this. Working on 2 projects at the same time is exhausting. And as Tytung said, he won't do it.
You should lure somebody who has knwoledge of reverse engeneering drivers. Otherwise the touch thing will be hard to solve. And we could get a definitive answer whether the lack of true multitouch is REALLy really hardware related or perhaps driver related.
Btw no battery drain here. Look closely at your installed apps.
