Dissappearing Today Item Plugin's and in menu

Hi everyone, I know this is a noob questions but only recently I have been filling my XDAIIi up with applications particually today plugins.
I have noticed that when you get to a certain number of plugins, some dissappear from the check list box in the select screen.
One of these is TomTom Nav 5. I use this all the time and if it's not on the today screen i'm stuck!!!
Is there a way of getting an unlimited amount of today items, without them dissappearing fomr the select list menu???
I would greatly appreicaet a reply as soon as possible.

nop i think the list in today wil only display 13 or something like that
they should still all be in the registry so if you go in there and remove those you dont use so the list will be shorter the today item you want should
be on the list in today items

i think , people never search anywhere ...
they come here , and post a new thread without any search ...
i think that if they don't search , it is because they dont know how to search and what to search ...
and , finally , i think they read a few post on diverse subject and they dream to do the same as the best of this forum , but without understand any of they do ...
For all users , please , before asking a thing that have posted 3 568 984 time , please , use search , and try it yourself to find a solution .....

prob it's partialy a habbit thing
and maybe partialy a experience thing
with using the AND and such terms in the search and only searching like the networking forum if one is looking for mms gprs setting and such
so it would get easier with pratice

I think there's one exception: some postings are that large (20 pages or more) that it's hard to understand and find the right answer because many people have said many things and some are corrected some posts later. When English isn't your native language (like mine) it's sometimes very hard to search and find.

hi guys...
i wander if posible to add more locations to weather tab cos i live in small country (macedonia) and i got just 1 town from here(capital1) , so if posible to add more info for here ill be thankfull , or at least some advice...

If you search, cause I don't remember off the top of my head, there are ways to adding citys if they aren't listed. Unfortunately they don't have every city so you are going to have to make due to whats available. Search a bit if you can but I'm sure someone will step in and show you where to look if you haven't found it by then.

Luxor and Sharm (HD Weather Tab)

Hi,
Going to Egypt soon for holiday and I wanted to put the weather for Luxor on my HD - but it's not listed - and nor is Sharm!
Any ideas why they are not there - and how I can add them?

Search in the Theme's and application section.
There are plenty of threads in there advising on this.

I've just been and the weather is great
It was 35 degrees C in Sharm on Monday. Luxor much the same.

Was in Sharm two weeks back, I was annoyed too that I couldn't find anywhere nearby

Try WeatherDatabaseEditor. Search for it on the forums. That's what i used to add in extra citys.

USCC WEATHER Tab

I've tried DOZENS of "fixes" for this, searched many Vogue sites, and googled it to death. WHOSE BRIGHT IDEA WAS IT to keep people from adding their local weather???? The file is read only AND in ROM so it cannot be edited.
Has ANYONE with a USCC Vogue gotten the HTC weather tab to work with their local city??? If so, HOW??

Bump, keeping this alive guys, I want a solution if it's out there.

if i can remember correctly you have to find the code for your area by using the same weather supplier as htc home weather. you then use a registry editor and type that code into the htc weather values. It's in here somewhere, i know because i did it. But now my city is listed.

Yes, I found the same info on editing the registry, however it did not fix the issue. Kept telling me it couldn't update.

AccuWeather Codes

I have looked through all the posts and followed the links but still cannot figure how to get a code for a UK town. I even sent a email to AccuWeather but they told me to contact HTC!
The town i want is Weston super Mare, North Somerset. I had it on my HTC HD and would like vto put it on my HD2. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to Accuweather, search your town and go to the related page.
In the adressbar of your browser you can see the Accuweather code:

it's the part starting with "EUR"

Thanks for reply`s, I have entered the code as it is in the address bar, EUR/UK/UK211 it shows up ok on weather page but cannot get forcast. Under Weston-super-Mare it says IDS_STATE_0 and above the days it says IDS_UNKN_
Any ideas please.........

Thanks Mate changed the lines to l and now works OK. was using / as in posts above..........
