Hello,
I will make this really short and to the point...
I am desperate in finding some super crazy cool, rich colored, entertaining, super vivid, etc etc... etc etc... GAMES for my Wizard (Cingular 8125)
I got QUAKE running and that's sort of cool.... it is a bit slower then I'd like it to be but still neat nonetheless...
So please, put me out of my misery and help me out here...
Let me know what are some super cool games...
Where can I find "demos" (hint hint) of these games...
Are there any great emulators worth considering.... and more important where the heck do I find the damn ROMs for them...
Share the wealth/knowledge - PPPPPLEASE
Thanks
If you like meaningless killing then this game is for you
gfdoom runs great on the wizard and can be run in landscape mode

I have downloaded the four files which ones are needed to be installed?
Can you please provide some directions? Thanks..
Unzip the gfdoom_zip and then add doom1.wad file from the website then transfer whole folder into \storage card\program files on the device. Create a shortcut to gfdoom.exe and off you go. To get to landscape mode in doom select options - low resolution and it switches.
its switching to landscape but its upside down

i've been playing tetris... nothing gets better than that. i really don't like the high-end games that require you to do a lot. something simple that just uses the d-pad is cool by me. i'm looking for pac-man, and maybe some good card games.

Can anyone recommend any good scrolling shoot-em-ups? I used to love playing SWIV, Xenon 2 Megablast, Project X, etc. back in the days of the Amiga.
I'd also like to find something along the lines of like Hexic (free puzzle game on the XBox360 HDD), Columns, Puzzle Bobble, etc. Fond memories of Breakout too, so a PPC equivalent would be cool.
A remake of the great X-com PC game. This will keep you busy for ages. Completely free

Skyforce is a cool game, Astraware do something similar to bejewelled called gem jam i think.

Anyone know if its available to the Diamond?
i wish.. we can only wait to see
me tooooooooo
I waighting 2 it's a nice game
a developer would hav to port it but that would take ages
i dont think its going to take that long for porting cuas the already made it for the iphone just port it from there then we have a gsens monkey ball to
but i am not a programmer so i dont know
This game would be great if we had it for the Diamond and Touch Pro, well at least we know the phone would be able to handle that kind of game because of the game Xtrakt, if haven't tried Xtrakt you really should try it out
Yeh that would be a cool g sensor game, and xtrakt is very nice too, I would like something with that look and g sensor control, not to play, but just for show!
Can someone give me a game working full size for htc Hd, there is so many friends makes fun of me with their i-phone can someone give me a link for just one pretty game?
Thanks

LOL. There are quite a lot of cool games working full screen on the HD that don't need the missing D-Pad. Try the following:
1. Sid Meier's Civilization IV (I'm pretty sure your iPhone friend will be shocked by hearing the name only...)
2. Acky's XP Breakout (FANTASTIC Breakout clone)
3. Virtual Pool Mobile ....Yeah, baby
4. Archibald's Adventures...A modern classic
5. Resco Bubbles 1.22 (Now fully HD compatible in hi-res)
May Google be with you...And don't forget to show the Diamond VR Hologram
And finally ask those Steve Jobs slaves what software they use for GPS navigation given the fact that Google Maps is a completely useless peace of junk

Hi TheOnly1,
all these games are free or need to purchase?
All are commercial games. They don't cost much though and you don't want to install warez on your phone . Demo versions are also available...

ok,got it. thanks.
Virtual Pool
Hi, I downloaded VP and looks amazing but was wondering how on these sort of games you do things that require a key press. For example, in Virtual Pool once in a game, I can't do anything to get me back to the main menu, or change views etc... I am probably being stoopid!
I too am looking for some great games to load on before a long plane journey next week! Thanks for the advice
Resco Bubbles 1.22 - it supports the G-Sensor and the HD resolution.
cool threads. thanks theonly1
It's not full screen but works very good in VGA....Age of Empires.

But then again...Why do we need to compare uncomparable things? The iPhone is a multimedia gadget. The HD is a Win Mobile phone with all the pluses and minuses. And if you want Doom, Quake etc...get a Diamond and here you go
"not any coolgames like doom and such 3D games that Iphone has anywhere?"
there is
wolfenstein 3d, doom1, doom2, heretic, hexen, duke nukeem3d, quake, quake2, quake3
and warcraft2 availble for windows mobile
free too
not sure how they handle the spc res though
Iphysics
Does anyone know if there are a game similar to the iphone game "Iphysics"? It's so much fun, and pretty simple...
The game enigmo is also very fun. I miss some of these game for the HD.

Where to install
I just flashed (Apache/Verizon/ver 2.05) to wm 6.5 and the flash did not have a game folder. So I assume that I have to make a game folder in program files and extract the games you have listed. I to at times play games on my phone to relax while at work on break..Thank you
How about a little description of each game.
Having them to DL individually would've been great but I know it's going to be time consuming.
Yes, description would be great, if possible as I don't have a clue what half of them games are about.
i installed some of them, here a small description:[in my personal opinion]
Aquelaball - You have an area and you have to cut it in smaller pieces without hitting the moving objects in it. Fine graphics, Rating: ****
Backflip - Amazing Puzzle Game, undescribable . Very nice Graphic, Rating: *****

CeDigger - I didnt really understand the game, graphics could be better Rating: ***
CeZebra - Multiplayer Board-Game, nice made, Rating ****
Chain Reaction - Every Round you have 50 Moving objects and one bomb. place the bomb and it will explode. if you hit one of the objects this object will explode too. try to get all objects explodet. Rating: *****
DoubleSkill - Concentrate on doing two things at the same time, Rating: ****
FreeCell - Everbody Knows, Rating: ***
HangHim - A Version of Hangman, but the Dictionaryfile with words is in German... Maybe someone wants to make an englisch one... Rating: ***
Jumpyball - Navigate your Highspeedball through the level without hitting the water... Non-Touch, Rating: ***
Kevtris - Just Tetris... Non-Touch, Rating: ***
Skinzsudoku - Everybody knows Sudoku... Nice colors, nice game. Rating: ****
Xump - Bring to ball to the goal by hitting every field. Graphics could be better, Rating: ***

i'm going to test more...
Pocket Uno, Pocket Racko, Pocket Millesborne are all ppc versions of the well known card games.
boardgames: Chess, Backgammon, Ludo, Checkers, Reversi, Nine Men’s Morris, Snakes and Ladders, and Tic Tac Toe.
space trader official desc: Space Trader is a complex space trading strategy game in which the player travels through the galaxy trying to amass enough money to buy his own moon. Earning money is easiest as a trader, but it is also possible to become a bounty hunter and hunt down pirates, or to become a pirate and rob honest traders of their cargo. (by complex, i think it means there is depth to the game rather than hard to figure out)

Can I get some feedback from anyone who has played the game?
Hey it's pretty neat. Would like to see hardware keyboard support though, I never liked playing games solely on the touch screen . Or maybe it could be both keyboard and touch screen ;o?
Lol well it seems fun, like a cute mario sort of game. It'd keep me busy for a while .
thanks
Ok thanks for the feedback , glad you enjoyed it. I made a jump left and jump right button so it will be smooth like multi-touch.
Yeah and it's nice ;p. Just sucks that ours doesn't have real multi-touch .
But keep up the work!
