i've got samsung i600 and WM6
i have problem with my microSDHC 8GB 4 class card.
I installed drivers from this forum: installed sdhc.cab, than (with total commander) i renamed dll in my device and put new dlls, than run certs.cab , made soft reset and what i got is that i600 recognizes my 8GB card as 3,636GB but total commander (in i600) recognizes it properly as 8GB.
I've also tried to install first certs.cab than sdhc.cab than put new dlls into windows dir. And i've tried with drivers tor fujitsu siemens but result is still the same.
I even formatted this card with Flash Format soft for WM5/WM6 and it also recognized my card as 8GB.
What can I do more with my i600 to work properly with sdhc 8GB?

I just got me XDA II and have been trying to install software onto my 128mb Lexar SD card. Each time i try to install the programs the install fails - and if i try to run the cab files left over am told they are invalid. I have also noticed the directories on the card get corrupted. The crads worked fine in my 5450 as did the programs. They do however install fine to internal ram. Looking throught these forums i see other people have SD issues, so is the XDA II fussy about SD cards that work?
based on a post at pocketpcthoughts in august 2003 i changed my todat theme back to windows default - and guess what - no more install problems! no more directory corruption- should i return my device?
Since last week my MDAII doesn't recognize my own 512 Toshiba card anymore nor other sd cards. There is just nothing.
If I look in Settings-Memory-Storage card, it just says:
"Total storage card memory: Not installed"
Different programs Pocket Mechanic included, don't find the storage cards. Soft resets, hard resets , reinstallation of the latest ROM and cleaning of the SD card didn't help. The problem seems not the the card itself (I can reach it on another PDA) but my own MDA. What can I do? Help!
I learned that restoring an "old" sprite backup directly after the upgrade to 1.72 removed the sd card entrance! So I reinstalled 1.72 and will not use the old sprite backup anymore.
I use atom with sandisk 2gb memory card. i have formated my card with pocket mechanical Pro. software with it's default settings.
now in file explorer and storage place it says memory card is not installed.
i did soft and hard both reset. upgraded my rom again as well.
but helpless..
any solution guys?
Try using Resco Explorer or SKTools to format the Card in your Atom
problem solved.. i did install memory card in computer and formated it with FAT system... n it worked for me...

Hey guys I have also developed a problem with my memory card Sandisk 2 GB. I upgraded my Atom Exec today in the morning to the great WM6 AKU 7a of chartreux after install when I inserted the card my atom did not respond. I tried the card through card reader on my PC and it was working perfectly. Then I tried another 2 GB card of Kingstone (one of my friends) but my Atom Exec did not read it. I flashed the old original ROM from O2 but even then my Atom Exec is not reading the card please Help.

So my problem is thaht on the page is written that suppord card is 2gb, but guy that buy it use driver and now he can use 8gb or 4gb SDHC cards.
I try install SDHC.CAB copy .dll files instal certs.cab , i also try install driver for artemis or another drivers. But nothing help me i always see in my phone storage card: not installed.
I have 8GB class 6 storagecard. Can u help me?

I bough a MicroSDHC 4 GB memory card for the prophet, but the only problem is It is not recognizing, some one told me that it is because of the file system of format, my 2 GB micro SD card have FAT format and 4 GB had FAT32 by default, so I reformated it in FAT and still I can't get it working, it's not regognizing.
Well, I saw a thread on web some where saying to download "driver" and install it on the non-supporting MicroSDHC device and it will start recognizing. Is it true?
Please help, if it is possible do tell me some decent way thanks.

prophet doesnt support sdhc only recognizes sd.....their aint any driver support aswell
