Have you used the search feature of this board? If yes, you would have found a tool called "Haptic feedback" by l3v5y!
Just a thought ...!

I'm not sure what haptic is, but there are a couple of apps floating around in this forum that make the phone vibrate ou screen touch, like this one:

Vibrate on keypress?

Hello!
I often thougt that dialing numbers on the dialpad really does not offer enough fisical feedback to satisfy my perfectionism.
I tried a program called "finger clix" wich is mainly an improved contact manager but... it had a dialpad aswell wich offered tiny vibration as feedback on press. I have to say that the feeling of actually dialing a keypad really boosted.
Now to my question shouldn't it be possible to hack the built in dialpad of the Magician so it returns not only a dialtone but a tiny vibration aswell?
Anyone have any ideas?

...how about using search? it already exists and works...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=23395&highlight=vibrate this is what the simple word "vibrate" brings up, when you type it into the search here...
cheers, lutz
Thanks lutzh!
To be perfectly honest with you I do use the search engine a lot actually.
I guess I wasn't very observant this time.
Thanks anyway for posting the link!

you're welcome anyway
ciao ragazzi, lutz
There are a couple of dialer apps that do this, w the assistance of CE Dot Net. Beware that they eat up battery though.

No screen tap sounds with Ausdim v3 (full) ROM

Not sure if this should be in the Trinity WM6 forum or not, but here goes:
I'm using the Ausdim v3 (full) WM6.1 ROM on my Trinity.
It's great and does everything I need, but I have one small problem:
I like to have screen tap sounds switched on, but even when I check 'Screen taps' in Settings->Sounds + Notifications (Soft or Loud), I get no sound.
If I check 'Hardware buttons', I get sound for the buttons no problem.
So, does anyone else have this problem with this ROM (or any other ROM) and does anyone know a fix (registry perhaps)?
screen tap sounds not working after installing slither's cube with touchflo
First and foremost, all you guys at xda-developers and ppcgeeks freaking rock!!! Not to mention, there are so many other people also helping out. You really do contribute so much to the world in your own way and make us all look cool with our suped up phones.
After installing Slither's cube 1.62 and TouchFlo 1.41, I am unable to get screen tap sounds working. The Hardware buttons sounds work fine as configured in the Settings>Sounds and Notifications section. But Screen Tap, eventhough set to Loud, does not work.
Your help in this matter would be most appreciated as quite a few people have reported this problem. I am using a Verizon XV6800 with the original rom. I also have iFonz 0.99.0 installed. But the issue is noted even when iFonz is not running. FTouchFlo seems to be auto running on start.
Thanks.....

Vibrate when the onscreen keyboard is pressed

In Samsung Omnia, there is this cool thing of the phone vibrating when you press a button on the keyboard, which give somekind of feedback feeling.
Any one knows how to make this happen in diamond????
there is an app that does this already, search for Vibration Feedback
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=269024
dont work on my diamond! unsuccessfull installation!
way?
When I red the post in which is written that this app. is battery eater... I kinda cooled down from it
Haptic feedback for Diamond.
Guys,
The link provided above is for some older Haptic feedback tool which is definitely not a good idea on the Diamond.
There is only one tool to achieve this on the Diamond. This is the newest release and battery use is fine.
There is a control panel to activate vibration feedback only if the SIP is in use, which is mega useful.

Best regards,

here, this works on the diamond. personally i dont use it, the novelty wore off real quick. the vibration frequency is not to my taste. also i don't think the default tones are working after un-install.
shamefull double post but the uplaod worked this time

Hmmm, please be careful with the tnyynt DialPad Vibrate.cab file. It makes registry changes to replace the DTMF tones only in the Dialer SIP. The vibration is not adjustable and unless you have a backup of the original values, it is hard to restore the original tones. If you uninstall, it will not undo the changes made to the registry....
....Seriously best bet is to try the app I linked to in my post above. It uses a separate application "VOA" to register any screen-taps. The included setting utility allows to change the vibration level and dictate when it should be active. Plus it is uninstallable and no system changes are made to files/registry.

screen locks when i am on call

hey guys.this happened recently. whenever i am in call , the screen is totaly locked. no button works and i can only use the non-screen buttons..i can't click on speaker, end..etc..neither one works...any idea? thank you.
anyone? any help?
This happened to me and I figured out it had to do with the touch response settings. I bet if you install the touch response fix cab it will fix that.
tnak you for the advice . do you know where can i get it from? o tried search hut did not return anything other than this post... thanks
check the TMoUS HD2 forums... its a sticky...
Did you install Cookie's Home Tab and CHTEditor?
If yes, check lockscreen options in cookie's hometab options.
Pocketshield
It can do this too, it is great, just have to do some trial & error,
Tnak you guys! For some reason neither one of these worked.... i guess i am left with only one option - task 29...

Swype Feedback turn off!

Hi there,
I know I read this here, but cannot find it.
My phone loked me out (pin number not accepted, wiped my SD card, hard reset...damnit).
I want to turn off the haptic feedback in swype and I remember someone posting on this, but cannot find it.
It was an easy fix with the "swype" key.
Can someone please turn me on to this answer.
ETA: I FOUND IT...on the phone...thanks
Thanks...frantic here (need a new SD card too as it is fried!)
Hey glad you got it working. I am actually trying to turn haptic feedback on for swype. Where did you find it?
With the swype keyboard open hit the left Shift key and then hold down the "i" directly below it.
It will come up with a screen with all sorts of options including enabling/disabling the vibration.

if you are still using energy ROMs then I don't think you can. I have asked and haven't found an answer.
I have decided to waste some of the phone's space and install a different version of swype and dinik skin it. This version You can turn on the haptic feedback.
I deleted the tutorial video so it only takes a few mb of space and when you install it, it overtakes the built in swype under your input settings.
Ok so I found a swype 3.9 and installed it but I still don't see the option to turn on feedback, am I missing something. What version are you using or would you care to post it?

Try this version of swype.this is the one i use that works with energyrom and has the option to enable heptic feedback vibration.
its a pretty big file like 13mb so if u want more space after u install it,delete the video tutorial in windows/swype folder in file explorer or tcm.
i tried to upload it but it wont let me since the cab is bigger than 8mb so try to search for this version "Duttys_IME_Swype_3_19_20_20_6343_0".hope you find it.
I'm running one of Energy roms (one month old)
There is an option to disable that vibration:
Settings (Windows ones)->Personal->Input
Choose "Swype" in the "Input method" dropdown list
Click "Options"
Disable "Vibrate on keypress" checkbox
no more wasting battery 8)
