i want to know where i can get this option:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The battery icon on the top
QuickMenu is a powerfull today menu replacement with alot of options like menu extensions, bluetooth control, task manager, battery indicator ... It works really fast and it's very usefull, saves alot of taps. Try QuickMeny to get in the game.
IMPORTANT
Best working with WM6 !
To install just copy the archive content into your Porgram Files folder, and then execute QuickMenu.exe !
To UNINSTALL just kill the QuickMenu.exe process with any task manager and delete, then delete the QuickMeny shortcut from /Windows/StartUp folder and restart your device !!!

So yeah I tried something similar to the previous post and I have lost my "x" button at the top right - to terminate active processes ya know? Does anyone know how to get this back (I did remove the program)
At the upper right, load taskmanager --> Keys --> close Apps on x pressing

Is there a way to make the icons unde Start->Programs, Start->Settings etc., smaller and/or display in a list like in Windows on a PC ?
Maybe a 3rd party program or a setting on the device itself?
Thanks
Anyone ?
GSPocketMagic makes the start menu list all apps in cascading menus much like Windows XP does. If you have more apps listed than fit on the screen you have scoll through them and it's rather slow to get to those at the bottom if you have a long list. In landscape mode I've gotten pretty quick launching apps using the keyboard - Windows key - [P]rograms - then type the first letter of the program you want to laucnh and it takes you to the first program that starts with that letter, keep pressing that letter and it will cyle through all of them, hit enter and the program will launch.
I find this method to be much quicker than scrolling through a long list of programs.
Thanks, I'll check out GPSPocketMagic and try your system.
Is it the start menu, or the programs explorer you wanted small?
This is possible:

Yup, its possible to have 36-37 mb mem free.
procedure:
-we need oxios hibernate shortcut on today, launcher etc.
-you must click hibernate after soft reset before memory stabilizes..
-after mem is stabilized, you need to launch task manager 2.7, and find ov9650.dll (camera) in devices - and choose "stop" from menu.
- after device stops, click hibernate once more.
of course, only crucial thing is to turn off camera device from taskman...but whole thing alltogether is best method if application is not able to start just because of lack of mem.
Camera won't work anymore.... until you do soft reset - it will activate camera again.
screen(system loaded, WAD, wm5newmenu x 2, inclose mobile, and some more things installed):
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
of course, it's possible to have more mem free...

screen update:
Hi,
I'm trying to remap my left softkey to the phone application.
What path do I need to find the Phone application? I can't find it.
Just te be clear:
I'd like my left soft key on the today screen to link to this app:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Where can I find the right path?
Errrm...why do you want a softkey link to the Phone? just pressing the dial button will start it...
anyway, Phone is somewhere in the Windows directory if I remember correctly(I recall seeing it there once...).

Old habits I guess, I want a Phone button on my screen.
I can't find one in the Windows directory (latest PDAViet rom).
I just fixed it by linking to
\Windows\Start Menu\Phone.lnk
That's a way to have it work too...
I've been searching high and low and cant seem to find anything that works on the diamond.
Just want to add a restart option to the quicklist when you long press hang up, maybe even a power off option in it as well.
All the cabs ive tried don't work, they either do nothing or just make the quick list not work.
Anyone know?
No one know it?
What you mean "quicklist"?
When you long press hang up, by default its lock, but you can change that in settings to show quick list of different options: Turn Airplane Mode on (flight) > Lock Device > Terminate Data Connection > Set Vibrate > Settings
Why you don't use small apps (simply exe files) and with shortcuts you make that you want?
I personally use these apps (screen off, restart, shutdown).
Look the screen below.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I'm using screen off shortcut to all panels and restart - shutdown to right panel.
You can also put the shortcuts at Start Menu.
I thing it's easier way.
Does it really work for anyone? I've tried both of those check boxes and it did not close anything anyway.

try Ameba.
Holding the X works for me.
Sorry but I can't help you.
I have mine on "End programs by tapping X" and it works for me. It was literally the first thing I installed when I got my HD2.
Hi together,
Where can I find these settings?
Thanks,
alkorsi
How did you get to that screen? Where do you find these settings?
Thanks a lot!!

Settings > System > Task Manager
1.66 Official Rom
Or some other place, can't find this setting anymore
You need a task manager installed, such as Touch X Task Manager or Dutty's Task Manager (the one I use )
You drop down the task list in Sense and click the wrench icon to open the settings screen (that screen).
Oh, this woulld explain it then, I have uninstalled mine
