MIC Replacement - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Hi,
I would like to replace my wizard microfone. I already have a replacement one, but I'm having difficulties taking the old one out. I'm afraid of damaging something because it's really sticky and I don't know if it is glued or if it's welded.
Can you help to discover how to remove the old mic?
Thanks.
Best regards,

Can anybody help?

Nevermind
Nevermind,
I see i'll get no help here.
Thanks for nothing.

Help with screen problem please.

Hi guys.
I opened up my phone to replace the housing for my JAM. I followed the guide to opening it up that I found on this forum. After putting it all back together, the phone turns on but the screen is just white, probably the backlight.
The phone still works, I can recieve calls and sync my phone, but thats about it.
Any idea what I mighta done wrong, or what I can do to fix it? As far as I can tell the wiring from the screen to the phone is undamaged...
Thanks,
Justin
what did it turn out to be, seems like a few people have this problem with no replies... could someone get a response and possible add it to a post of questions and answers

broken charging connector... need a new/used mainboard.

My 2i's charging connector broke. Sent it back to O2's repair centre and they specifically said that the mainboard has to be changed. Anybody here know of any thrifty way to get hold of a mainboard or a something similar? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Vincent
fixed same problem my self
Hi ,
I received a similar device from a collegue.
His charging connector was completely severed from his mainbord.
I opened the device and solderd it back on my self. Device is working again.
If you have te same problem maybe it's cheaper to find someone who can do this for you then looking for a replacement mailboard.
I have to say I had to try it 2 time because the connections where really tiny.

exactly...tiny...
You're right, it's very small, plus I have fat fingers. Well, maybe I should get someone to do it for me. I was hoping for a short cut solution and not too expensive one as well. I might try that after the holidays..

damaged Touchscreen?

Hello,
I opened my Touch to clean the Display because there was dust inside the Phone. I used a Hoover very carefully to remove it. Then i closed the Elf and the Touchscreen didnt work anymore.
I left all wires where they were and didnt even touch the Touchpannel.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?
Is there any solution to reanimate the Touchpannel or do i need to buy a new one?
great problem. I hadn'e any idea that could happen. I wanted to do the same but now I think I'll do it when I'm sure it doesn't breaks my touch...
thanks for the info and let me know if you get through it....
I will send it to HTC because I am still in the time of warranty.
If I flash the original ROM they dont have anything to deny it.
If there are any news i will post it.

White screen SPV 3100

Hello all,
I'm newby at the forum and sorry for my bad English. I just read all the threads concerning my problem, before post this, and a can't find any solution
I bought this phone on ebay faulty. The seller tell that it only problem was white screen. I thought was simple to fix with flashing but... I tried to fix it using all the solutions even i just open it and clean with a soft brush but no luck
When i turn it on i just see a white screen. When a plug it in ac adapter he charge and when a plug it at my desktop e charge too but don't syncronize with active sync 4,5. For this i don't know if is a software or hardware issue.
I can't put into bootloader too.
Any Help? I don't want spend my money in a new lcd without your opinion.
Thanks in advance for all e regards from Portugal.
This topic has been covered many times, which is perhaps why folk will not answer in a new thread about it.
Have a look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=321163
But in summary:
Flashing will not cure it.
A new screen will probably not cure it.
In many cases it is caused by a fault on the d/pad. Replacing that might be successful. In the thread above look for the bit about putting padding on a d/pad chip - that seems to have worked for many (but not all)

Hi there. I just open a new thread cause i had read all the things in the link you gave, with no luck for me. But thank you for the help.
Hello! I have the same problem with my Hermes. But I know how to solve it - at least in my case. I had to open PDA and look inside. There's a tape (strip?) which is connected by two screws. Well, one is gone. The tape doesn't lie as it should so I had to connect it by glue. Now it's fine. It was physical damage, flashing wouldn't help much, especially here but my thougts were similiar in the beginning.
Good luck and Cheers

Touch screen not working.

Hi all,
First of all let me appologise for my bad english.
I have a G1 and yesterday after i called someone the touchscreen stopped working.
Now I tried a few things to test if it was really not working
- flashed a new rom to see if it was the rom
- used a backup when it was working.
- Reset the phone.
Now I opened the G1 and noticed the Flex Cable has a little tear in it.
At first i thought that was the problem, but i dont think that cable breaks that easy if you make a phone call.
(I reassembled the phone and the lcd screen is working and all but no touchscreen)
So i was wondering, is it common of the touch screen just stops working?
And is there a way to test the touchscreen?
Many thanks,
MacWell
I'm sorry if i posted this in the wrong place or if this already has been answerd, but i couldn't find it with the search button.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I do not use a screen protector.
I ordered a new G1 flex cable and I hope this will fix the problem.
However if it doesn't fix the problem I think i'll buy a new touchscreen for the G1.
But if anyone has an idea please tell me
