FINALLY!!! we have now FRENCH VERSION of WM2005 for HIMALAYA

FINALLY WE Managed to GET our HANDS to FRENCH Edition of WM2005 and OH yeah .. ITS PURE FRENCH ..
(not Converted but a Genuine FRENCH Version)
and yeah we made a FULL RAM BACK ..
But since Unauthorized version of WM2005 is prohibited .. we cannot Upload the FILES here .. ANYWAY heres the pic for you FRENCH guys .

the ROM BUILD 14326 - its not a translated version ..
It is the FRENCH version of MAgneto just like found in Gora's Device but since the Memory is now revealed we manage to get the FULL 120.35 MB for Program Memory(same as in 1.60a)
and since it is older than the English version 1.60a and 1.50i .. it also contains some bugs as it has in other version ..
it doesnt contain MSN Messenger but you can download it in this site

(anyway Agile Messenger is much better)
please dont ask for the download .. we know we cannot have this in our site .. i dont have also an email account for bigger files..

English User Manual for Neo or Prophet

Hello all,
i'm looking for a copy of the user manual in english for an XDA Neo or directly for a Prophet. Anyone have any idea where i can download a copy? thanks.

Nope, i have a German o2 Neo (Prophet). Only manual i have is in German. Any chance someone could download the Dopod english version for me?
What i'm actually searching for is a proper, comprehensive explanation of the communication settings in Prophet.
I want to try and understand the various settings and how they are set, i.e. Internet settings, Company settings, how this all works with Wlan.
For example, sometimes when i'm connected via Wlan, the phone tries to establish a GPRS connection?? Why?
Anyway, i thought the manual might give me a good explanation of all the comms settings and how they interact.
So, anybody out there willing to download the English Dopod manual for me?

Thanks a bunch for this, just downloaded it.
The reason i was searching for this is because i'm looking for somewhere that can thoroughly explain the comms settings to me, i.e. GPRS, Wap, Wep, etc.
Unfortunately, the english manual is not any better than the German manual....i.e. no details.
But thanks anyway! If you know of a better place to get this explained?

I would suggest to try the tool Haret first.
It's a nice tool to do some investigation on hermes.
There should be some threads, with instructions how this could be done.
There are some other tools flying around, search for itsme...
Smart guy who wrote a lot of useful stuff!!

You see there's no need to disassemble the device and fiddle around with little cables (at least right now ).
Anyway, if you like it check out the JTAG stuff.
No problem to read out any block of flash of course!

See this thread for information about JTAG on hermes:

First you'll need one of these LPT-adaptors to get access to hardware.
Please have a look in the manual for the LPT-pinout.
Then you may use MSP-Herm.exe to dump any area of NAND.
Unfortunately the tool only allows to dump to screen, not to a file.
There's also a detailed table of NAND-layout, at least of the first blocks.
Block 0, Page 0 is were IPL starts (obviously at the beginning ...)
