Anyone who owns this car cradle, please respond. I have tried to ask questions in other posts with no luck,
http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=11918
I was wondering if this mount is able to be rotated to landscape and if the audio out port is stereo or mono?
Also if anyone can recommend any cradle that charges, has audio out and can be used in landscape mode, I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you all for your help.

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has had any success in fixing this problem? I have a 2 ring 2.5 to 3.5mm adapter connected (so it should only be routing the audio, not the mic) and sometimes the caller can hear me, sometimes not. At one stage I found by unplugging the cable, setting to speakerphone, then unsetting speakerphone and plugging the cable back in would get it to work, but not anymore... I am thinking there is a setting on the phone I might have to change.
Any ideas?!?! I love my XDA II mini but this is driving me up the wall!
A photo of the adapter I'm using can be seen here: https://secure4.vivid-design.com.au/electus/products_uploaded/productLarge_2306.jpg

I guess you have the wrong adapter. To have the mic working you need a 4 pole adapter like this one:

Thanks for the reply esackbauer, what gets me though is it did work at one stage. Why would it suddenly only work intermittently?
Cheers,
James
Hmmmmm, I may have solved it... In phoneAlarm v1.13 there is a setting under Alarm "Mute also mutes phone", which was set to enabled. After disabling it the mic started working again. Hopefully this is the solution!

James
jlitjens, i have the same "problem", only I'm not using PhoneAlarm. In my case it's like this: i have a 3 pole adapter, and normally the mic doesnt work when I've connected the car stereo to my Mini. But, when I start MS VoiceCommand, it does. Now and then it doesnt work, but after reconnecting it will...... strange.....
cheers

Hi all,
Recently I lost my wizard's original headsets, I tried to find a place to get the same original ones but I didn't find a single place on the internet that sells exactly the original O2 headset with its cable, mic and answer button.
Anyway, what is the best wired/wireless stereo headset in terms of quality/price? if it is BT, is it rechargable?
And how does the sound quality compare to the original headsets?
I hope I will find some help here since I know nothing about these things
Cheers,
Mohammad
Hi guys,
I found this one that looks like Wizard's original ones:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mini-Vario-...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1201287948&sr=1-1
but when I looked at the cable I suspect that the cable is not of good quality like the original.. Any help plz? should I buy it?
I use a Motorola H700. It's not stereo, but for handsfree calling, it's awesome. The call quality is outstanding, the range is excellent (I can be anywhere in my house with my phone in the bedroom and have no static), and the best part is that it uses the same kind of charger the Wizard does, so I can just lug one charger around with me. Awesome little device.
If I want to listen to music, I just have a cheap pair of earbud headphones that I plug in with an adapter. Works just fine for me!
Thanks for ur reply, what about the link I provided, is this the ORIGINAL wizard headset? the earbuds seems to be the original, but what about the cable? is it the original.
Help me guys, pleeeeez
comon guys, somebody tell me about this headset link, is it exactly the original along with its cable and everything?

where are u guys?
G'day all,
Pretty much as the subject says, I am curious to use my jasjam as a media center in my car.
I'm about to buy another headset, but before I do I would prefer to find out a few things first.
I've seen the USB to 3.5mm jack cables which allow you to plug in a pair of headphones. Could I run this into an Aux input on the headset for audio from the jasjam ? I assume that the jasjam would be master volume over the headset etc. Kinda like a pre-amp. (Which won't be a problem)
Or... Could I use a USB cable and have the jasjam act as a memory stick instead ? I read somewhere a while ago about people trying to plug external drives to their jasjams, but this is sorta the other way around I guess.
Anyway, if anyone can shed any light on this it'd be tops.
Thanks
Hi guys,
I have a problem that I had not anticipated and is somewhat problematic!
Having recently purchased a Brodit holder for my Kaiser with a three in one adaptor, I noticed that when the phone is in the cradle, instructions from TomTom are muted.
I can only assume that the Kaiser believes that the headphones are plugged in, which is not the case.
When removed from the cradle, the instructions are fine and when the Aux cable is plugged in any my stereo set to Aux input, I can hear the instructions perfectly through the car loudspeakers. However, this precludes a scenario where the Kaiser is in the cradle charging, I’m using TomTom but just want to listen to the Radio!
As you can imagine, this is far from ideal! Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Friends,
Could someone tell me if there is a way to capture audio from a microphone (handheld) and direct the signal into the Tilt using the usb connector?
Please advise if this is possible. I did some searching around town, didn't come up with much thats out there.
Tvos
Should be doable -- there is a mike input pin on the extUSB connector, for use with a wired headset (which comes standard with non-AT&T versions of the phone). Just find a compatible headset or a headset adapter with a built-in mike and use that -- or take the headset/adapter & replace the mike with a jack and plug in the mike of your choice. The xda-devs store would probably be a good place to start your search.
