Hi,
I can only say that it works for me using the com8, 4800 baud with Clipon-BTGPS.
You can check my rom version and my model in my sign.
have you create an outgoing port in bluetooth settings?
Hi
Yes I created an outgoing port. And If I Trust the LED's on the Nokia Bluetooth GPS mouse there is a Connection.
The settings worked on my Wizard.
I have a T-mobile Vario II with Austrian Software.
ROM 1.21.112.3
Radio 1.05.02.00

Hi
I made one more test I have a little .net application porgrammed that talks with the GPS. And I get Data allright with exactly the same settings.
In the Meanwhile I am on COM4 with 38400 baud.
Also Navizon Works. - Strange Strange Strange.
Then I use Navizon as a virtual GPS on COM8 and it works - how strang can it get.
Navizon on the other hand doesn't recognize the phone Part of the TyTN

the Thing with Navizon in the middle is verry unstable = not usable.
Anybody other Ideas?

Hi
Anybody runing I-GO on Hermes so far?
Is it the GPS or the Device not working with I-GO
TOM TOM 5.2.21 works no problem.

iGo works perfectly in my TyNT
iGo works perfectly for me. I'm using NMEA com9 and a 4800 baud rate with my fortuna clip-on.
I also have tomtom (not installed yet) but go with iGo because I visit eastern europe often (Croatia at the weekend).
A nice touch is that inserting the memory card autoruns the application. To take advantage of this I would be interested to know how much of the application can be moved to the memory card (freeing up memory in the device)? In an ideal world the application would be totally contained on the memory card. Any ideas?
Hi
I also have new News:
As it as TOMTOM is working it is Realy the combination I-GO Nokia LDW3 that causes the Problems.
My Current workaround is to use GPSProxy which is Free. It is more stable than the previous workaround with Navizon.

I have a Pharos GPS Phone 600 and I have installed Garmin Mobile XT, but the program can't seem to get any GPS data from the receiver. Does anybody have any idea how to make them communicate?
sorry dewd but this is not the phorum for your phone. since its made by a company called pharos instead of the model p3470 Pharos made by HTC....
seems to boil down to getting the gps device to the right port so garmin can get the data.
I would like to buy the Garmin software, can anyone guide to the actual software.
Thanks
Latest version of Garmin for Windows Mobile working very well.

I Don't think so,because My SE.X1 runing window 6.5 too , but it can Down load the city map and run good with TOM TOM 7.7.9.10 Navigator
only X2 won't work,I fell so bad,can you tell me how to get the GAMIN.XT APP and North America MAP,and how to Install to X2,Thanks you very much.
Since you ask here and not at Tomtom service I take it you have your reasons.
I have tried to install Tomtom on my X2 without MR1 and MR2 without luck. My previous X1, no problem.
Have you had a look at gpsunderground.com?
I've bought and installed copilot ( http://www.alk.eu.com/ ) and it worked flawlessly at mr1. And it is really cheap but navigation is thereafter. I would barely recommend it, but the GPS connects nice.
If you have a look at supported devices at Tomtom you can clearly see that SE X2 isn't supported. If someone gets it running nicely at our X2 i wouldn't judge people who gets it at places as gpsunderground and similar - but hey, that's just me, it's Tomtoms loss and not ours.
You need "GPS Gate" to get TomTom working on the X2, this has been covered many, many, oh did I mention many? times.

I don’t use GPSGate and TomTom Ver 7.910 works on my X2.
On the X2 – go to Settings/System/External GPS and change GDP9 TO COM8.
Open TomTom and change the GPS Device from Built in GPS receiver to Other NMEA GPS receiver and select COM8.
Make sure you run FASTGPS and download the latest Sat Data.
Hope this helps

I'll give you a hint. NO ONE has TomTom listed as a GPS receiver, so stop looking for it! Go back and read the posts again.
i'm using destinator 7 and igo8 both work great with the X2, you just have to set com port 3 or 4 on your xperia
hi all, i use Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.30, some forum say it working 5hz is better.
So, how to it? thanks
