I-MATE STUCK ON USB SCREEN AFTER UPGRADE

URGENT HELP PLEASE, I DECIDED TO UPGRADE MY IMATE USING THE RUU172126WWE_IMATE APP AND AS IT STARTED I LOST THE SYNC, NOW IT JUST SITS AT THE USB/V1.02 DARK SCREEN, I RESTARTED THE RUU....AGAIN BUT IT JUST SITS THERE...PLEASE HELP URGENTLY

just start over the procedure : put the imate in the cradle and run the *.exe from your computer, relax for a couple of minutes (the program needs to find the usb connection) and then you will see on the imate that the upgrade is starting (where the backlight will remain off and there is an orange bar and the % of the upgrade), in this situation the activesync will not recognize the imate, but the program does.
you can also go to the imate support center, some time there is a person available that you can chat to

Thanks, i did try that initially with no luck have just kicked it off again and it has gone further and now apears to be working PHEW!!!!! :lol: does that reload the boot rom and the full windows op sys? will let you know of the outcome...thanks again....

:lol: finally all working ok, just one little funny over the weekend lost all my contacts and calender entries, did a soft reset but no joy. got it all back this morning with a sync. any one seen this before, any ideas?

White screen Bricked Please Help

Hi my phone was playing up the last few days needing reset all the time so I reinstalled the rom and the phone was running great until yesterday I insalled sim city 2000 which worked no probs but I couldnt exit the program so done a soft reset and now all I get is a pure white screen it does nothing at all. any ideas ???

Also the dpad buttons are getting very hot . its as if the phone is working as when I connect to usb active sync will do its stuff and I can browse the software on the phone using windows. But just cant see anything but a white sceen on the device itself.

Anyone any ideas

XDAII does not start

My XDAII doesn't start as it just hangs at first boot screen and nothing happens there after. Sometimes charging takes place and sometimes, it doesn't charge while plugged with a wall charger.
Any suggestions for this problem?
ya, I can put this ini bootloader mode and I have tried a no. of diff. ROMS (WM SE 2003 and WM5 as well).

yes this is exactly whats happening to me I have a lovely functional XDA 11 which works like a charm THEN I bought a second on EBAY (Stop laughing !!) which sometimes boots sometimes doesnt - sometimes it even starts and goes all the way and functions for up to a few mins then freezes and has to reboot and is then dead as a mullet!! I take the battery out and wait a while and she starts sometimes again sometimes take a few attempts - Help any theories?

I have exactly the same problem with the blank white screen after the o2 splash.
But in addition, I get screen flicker and fuzziness on the occassion that I DO get it to work (after leaving the battery out all night).

First time i have hangup problem then i tried upgrade 2k5 upgrade successful.Then i have same problem is it softwere problem or hardware please tell me

It seems like this bacame a problem for a lot of people - something similar started hapening to me, too ... At first it was scarce, but now it is impossible to use it as a phone - it hangs to many times... I suppose it's a hardware problem ...

Hey guys my O2 XDA 2i is not starting. It shows the welcome screen and the screen alignment . and you keep aligning the screen for ages to see nothing happning. anybody has a solution.
I also have a Imate pocket PC, but it works better than O2 XDA 2i. no problem from last 3 years

my xda also don't starts windows and it all started when i run doc partition tool on wm6.so i managed to install wm2003 and it works fine try downgrading to wm2003 and you will see the difference that your device will never give you that problem again

Qtek 2020: problem with screen

i have a Qtek 2020 and i have a screen problem.
there are vertical blue lines across my screen.
sometimes its back to normal,but not for long.
i can still upgrade the Qtek to another rom,but i can't access the files with
activesync.

are u shure its software problem? its sound like u drop it and phone just brake up ... or maybe the lines appears after some installation?

Sounds indeed like a hardware problem. Backup, and hard reset. If the problem persists, pay a visit to the PPC lab.

Did my prophet die forewer? :(

I installed the rom prophet_shadow_2.0_CE with the wm6.1, and my prophet was in excellent operation... happens that, for mistake, judging to be to install a theme, I installed a rom of the old wm6, and the telephone stopped in the initial screen of the phone operator. However I made soft reset and hard reset, and the telephone turned off entirely. I tried a battery of another prophet, and the problem is not of the battery. Ace times for 3 seconds the prophet gives life sign, but later it turns off once and for all. The Pc doesn't recognize the prophet for usb, I don't get to install any rom, because give error, saying that the prophet is not connected to the pc.
Did my prophet die once and for all?

just ley me know when u have tried everything. i have a friend in o2 service centre and he can make any xda perfect. but my sugggggestion is that stop experimenting more just keep ur device like that only on the charge thats all. and contact me

Can you enter bootloader?
Hold the comm manager button and soft reset.

But noo, i can't enter bootloader, nor for soft-reset nor for hard-reset.
Unfortunately, the prophet doesn't enable!

Does the device respond to power at all?

try this
turn on you ppc then change the usb port connection plug it in and use Prophet_wm6_step1 rom i got it from this site it worked for me
