i have a Qtek 2020 and i have a screen problem.
there are vertical blue lines across my screen.
sometimes its back to normal,but not for long.
i can still upgrade the Qtek to another rom,but i can't access the files with
activesync.
are u shure its software problem? its sound like u drop it and phone just brake up ... or maybe the lines appears after some installation?
Sounds indeed like a hardware problem. Backup, and hard reset. If the problem persists, pay a visit to the PPC lab.

My XDAII doesn't start as it just hangs at first boot screen and nothing happens there after. Sometimes charging takes place and sometimes, it doesn't charge while plugged with a wall charger.
Any suggestions for this problem?
ya, I can put this ini bootloader mode and I have tried a no. of diff. ROMS (WM SE 2003 and WM5 as well).

yes this is exactly whats happening to me I have a lovely functional XDA 11 which works like a charm THEN I bought a second on EBAY (Stop laughing !!) which sometimes boots sometimes doesnt - sometimes it even starts and goes all the way and functions for up to a few mins then freezes and has to reboot and is then dead as a mullet!! I take the battery out and wait a while and she starts sometimes again sometimes take a few attempts - Help any theories?
I have exactly the same problem with the blank white screen after the o2 splash.
But in addition, I get screen flicker and fuzziness on the occassion that I DO get it to work (after leaving the battery out all night).

It seems like this bacame a problem for a lot of people - something similar started hapening to me, too ... At first it was scarce, but now it is impossible to use it as a phone - it hangs to many times... I suppose it's a hardware problem ...

Hey guys my O2 XDA 2i is not starting. It shows the welcome screen and the screen alignment . and you keep aligning the screen for ages to see nothing happning. anybody has a solution.
I also have a Imate pocket PC, but it works better than O2 XDA 2i. no problem from last 3 years

my xda also don't starts windows and it all started when i run doc partition tool on wm6.so i managed to install wm2003 and it works fine try downgrading to wm2003 and you will see the difference that your device will never give you that problem again

Hello. I have a Prophet (G4 model if is relevant) and the following problem:
Screen display resolution is like in Windows safe mode or 16 Colours. Something like this, the colours are distorted, i have only green and blue.
The phone is working, all functions are active but is no use if you can see the display as you should.
I want to know if there is a resolution display setting, is a software setting or a hardware error.
Can I do something to "repair" the phone ?

The problem was a wrong connection of the cable that connects de TFT, a little hits in the area where the connector is supposed to be and... voile, the problem is fixed!! (until now)
i hav imate jam, recently it had 2 real falls from my hand
now the problem is it does not connect to activesync desktop, though the charging begins. it also has reboots automatically and someyimes a screen appears without backlight shwoing something like serial 1.01. it also gets hard reset automatically??? pls can anyone help

only it has one problem
sometimes when i hit the start button, or an otherbutton, it automaticly put's in "o", and goes on doing that.. if he does that i cant stop it.. only thing i can do is hit [X]
what to do?

are you referring to using your touchscreen or the keyboard??
It could be a sticky keypad, you'd have to dismantle your wizard to clean it.
If it relates to the touchscreen, try cleaning the edges of the screen with a bit of card, dirst gets trapped between the plastic casing and the touchscreen.
Try soft reseting your device just incase its an odd software glitch.
i have dismanteld the qtek 9100
cleaned the keyboard.. did not help.
then i dismanteld it again, en put that whire thing from the keyboard out.. thait did not help either..

this will be my 4th fone from t mobile, but unfortunatley is now out of waranty,,,everything was fine and working ok til last week, i used the tomtom on it and left it in the car for a few days, took it out and it wont work at all now..
it switches on and lads up, but as it loads the screen has little lines on the boot up screen , then it shows the windoes screen then i get the main screen,,
as soon as i select a program to use the screen frezes and fades away
and i cant do anything with it unless i remove the battery,,,
can anyone help????

this can be either a hardware or software problem.if its a hardware problem you cant do anything about it except getting it fixed.if its a software problem try flashing another ROM or try a hard reset
put new rom in and reset it,,,still the same...
could it be the procesor???
