Looking for a SFTP program for WM6. Anyone know of a good one?
This is free: "zaSFTP".

I'm new to Windows Mobile, moved from Palm. I did search first.
What is the best FTP program for downloading, editing and uploading html files? I generally just use a text editor and WS_FTP Pro on my PC, and that is suitable functionality for me. I see that Resco has FTP, but I would be willing to buy a standalone better solution.

Continuing FTP client challenges
I need an FTP client that works on WM5 and can handle SFTP/SSH. I tried a couple today from Handango and neither could do it, even though GetitFTP claimed to handle SSL. So I'm renewing this query.
I just did some research on this recently, and came up with nothing. The closest I came was the ancient OpenSSH client that has some kind of file transfer. Probably SFTP. It's pretty much horrible though.

Me, too
That was my conclusion as well, and I don't have anything functional. It is a nuisance, since it would be nice to edit simple html on the road.
I use Codeftp 2.5 .

Duri:
I went through the manual and found no reference to SFTP, which alas I need. Am I wrong?
I have the Apache (Verizon XV6700) and noticed that there's no Today plug-in for the Device Lock feature such as on the Wizard and other Pocket PCs.
Can anyone tell me what DLL files and registry entries they could be related to, and better yet, can anyone extract them so it can be tested out on devices that don't have them?
I'm also looking for anyone who has a Samsung i730 device. They have this program called Picsel Browser and it's actually quite amazing, being able to read PDF and Office documents, plus even grab full HTML pages and look as good as your browser at home.
Please help. Thanks in advance!
Another file is the CapNotify.exe found on the Wizard. I'd like to see if it can work on the Apache. Can anyone provide this file?
Hey, does anyone have any programs that i could use for my dopod? i would like to know what programs i may be able to download and use on my d810. thanks.

are there any more free progrma sites?
Hi!
Maybe you have heard from the great tool "dropbox" who synchronize your files at the desktop-pc, laptop and so on - easy to handle like an normal folder:
www.getdropbox.com
It also works with an browser-client when you are at a "foreign" pc.
The only problem is - it doesn´t work with the opera-browser or mobile internet explorer, maybe it depends on win mobile 6.1?
The last files you worked with are displayed, but not the folders.
Also the iphone-version of the browser-client: www.getdropbox.com/iphone
So maybe anyone knows an solution to handle that?
Thx for listening and sorry about my english ,
Epi
I'm too searching for solution for getdropbox on WM6 or maybe even some similar software for phone-to-pc file syncronization. Maybe somebody knows soft like this for Windows Mobile?
sugarsync -but the free version only works with two computers, but the same 2GB as with dropbox.
Concentrate, thanks for a tip!
It's seems like a good service!
http://www.mesh.com/ - supports wm6 as you'd expect. Great service.
Try Iris browser
Maybe it works

If I modify a Word document (that is saved in a shared Sugarsync folder) on my X1 , it does not update on the cloud or my laptop (where I also have Sugarsync installed). (Though it WILL update the name if renamed.... strange). ANyone else noticed this? ANyone found ANY program where you can sync Word documents wirelessly BOTH ways, just by saving it?
Mesh is not available for mobile devices yet, as far as I can tell.
I'm wondering if there's any program that allows me to "browse" the network I connect to with WIFI. I've been trying to use Total Commander mobile for it, but there doesn't seem to be any support. As I use quite a big home network including NAS and servers it would be nice to be able to access them through my PDAphone. I'm using a workgroup at home. Who can point me in the right direction?
Edit: A small addition; I have searched the forum for more information and - although it has been mentioned - there's not much information to find. The only thing I did find is that Total Commander *should* be able to do it, in which case someone has to teach me how ^^
I prefer resco explorer, it works pretty well, it also has ftp plugin available

fwiw if you want a whole heap of decent software for very cheap become a plus member at modaco, paul has a deal with plenty of software houses that allow him to give software such as resco explorer to his plus members..

It's worth it for resco explorer, flexmail, sprite backup and pocket informant alone..

For Resco explorer, you don't need the FTP plugin if yr NAS support windows networking. You can search by workgroup or simply connect by IP address
yep indeed, I was highlighting the ftp plugin as it's the best I've found on winmo. ;P
Alright, I will try resco then and let you know how it turns out.
