Hi, I've got spv m5000 and i've recently purchased the 4gb card, but my spv is not recognising it, working fine on my pc through card reader, formatted the card with FAT32 and FAT but without any luck.
The version of windows in my SPV M5000 is windows mobile 5 version 5.1.195, rom version is 1.30.90 WWE.
Kindly let me know what do i need to do, i would appreciate your help. Thanks.

anyone have an sd card with the Offical O2 (UK) PPC 2003 (4.01.12 ENG) already on it ready for flashing my rom.........really dont want the hassel of going out getting a reader/writer and having to go thru all that.......just wanna plug in and boot up

i have an o2 xda 1 with PPC 2002, i bought a 2 GB SD-card but the xda recognizes only 951 MB. Is there any solution to allow the xda to recognize the 2 GB SD? an upgrade to PPC 2003 can solve the problem?

On my qtek 1010 upgraded to wm2003se i have the same problem. my 2gb sd card is recognized as 1gb card.
Is it possible to solve this problem?

I am just passing on to you what another member passed onto me. It worked to.
Google Pocket Mechanic. Download and install the trial version. Format the card on the phone.
After doing this, my 2gb card showed the whole 2gb.

My sandisk micro SD card registers in my ppc most of the time - but lately it just doesn't read -
this happened when I took the SD card out when the ppc was on and installed new songs to the MP3 folder!
Anyone else experience this issue? what can I do to fix it?

I use atom with sandisk 2gb memory card. i have formated my card with pocket mechanical Pro. software with it's default settings.
now in file explorer and storage place it says memory card is not installed.
i did soft and hard both reset. upgraded my rom again as well.
but helpless..
any solution guys?
Try using Resco Explorer or SKTools to format the Card in your Atom
problem solved.. i did install memory card in computer and formated it with FAT system... n it worked for me...

Hey guys I have also developed a problem with my memory card Sandisk 2 GB. I upgraded my Atom Exec today in the morning to the great WM6 AKU 7a of chartreux after install when I inserted the card my atom did not respond. I tried the card through card reader on my PC and it was working perfectly. Then I tried another 2 GB card of Kingstone (one of my friends) but my Atom Exec did not read it. I flashed the old original ROM from O2 but even then my Atom Exec is not reading the card please Help.
Hi hope someone can help. I bought second hand spv m3100 looks similar to mda vario 2. It doesnt recognise my micro sd cards. It says not i stalled. Ive trued doing soft reset with the card in to see if it recognises. Is there anything i can do to get it to work.

Hi, if your pda version is Windos Mobile 5 and if your card is sdhc (4GB or bigger) you should to install sdhc patch:
