XDA ROM upgrade what's happened??

Hi all,
Big issues!! I upgraded my ROM to 4.20.?? and all appeared to be working fine but now when I press the on/off button the XDA turns off and I can't turn it back on except if I soft reset.
Also, I can't see to upgrade or downgrade the ROM. An error comes up saying the connection had been inaccessible.
Is there an easy way to downgrade the ROM. This problem all came about because the sound on my XDA kept dropping in and out!! Now there's no sound and a few OTHER issues!!
Any help would b greatly appreciated.... anything at all!!

Have you installed a "clean" ROM or with included applications?
Very often KSE Truefax causes this issue....

What do you mean by 'clean ROM'?? As far as I'm a aware there weren't any extra applications (I did not cook the ROM in the kitchen if that's what you mean??)
I downloaded it from the FTP here & loaded it through the USB cradle.
Any ideas??

Ok. So you have a "clean ROM" when it is directly from the ftp.....
In the beginning it worked for you?
Have you installed any appliacations on it?

Pls Help for bootloader of dopod c800 not worked aft trying install WM 6

I have dopod c 800 which is broke wjile install the WM 6 ,now the condition just the startup screen with :
- dopod logo
- ipl 1.09.001
- spl 1.09.001
-gsm 02.69.90
i'm trying to get into bootloader by pressing camera and stylus or camera+comm manager + Stylus , but the screen was goin back to the logo of dopod again.see the figure
i think after get into bootloader i can install the original rom first then install again the wm 6

Try holding the Camera Button after Reset, until Bootloader Screen appears, this must work out !

You have to hold both buttons (camera and commanager) until the bottscreen appears. only teh softreset button is pushed once.
DOn´t left the other bottons before bootscreen appears.

Thanks it works but pls find the way to make the gsm work after ugrading to WM 6 , nice system ..but sad always searching signal for the handphone.

front camera won't start

I using 3.2 thingonaspring rom in my qtek 9000.When I want to switch the front camera on I get the message ' Failed to initialize camera 36001:100:1 '. I tried rolling back to WM5 but still get the error message. Anybody knows what this is ? Thanks

I've been using senseTattoo for a few days, and was wondering: Is it possible to revert back to Windows Mobile? If so, how?

just flash back to your prior windows mobile rom. get into tri-color screen by holding down power and camera while you press and release the soft reset button. then flash away.

Did somebody try it? I hold power button with camera, tri-color screen was shown, thne I press and release soft reset button and from this time I have only black screen nothing working - HTC Polaris

Instructions might be different for POLA, check your forum.

Did you flash a Windows Mobile ROM?? Sounds like from your post you didn't, so I'm just making sure. And if you want further support, I would recommend you go to the HTC Polaris section

I enter bootloader mode and then run ROMUpdateUtility.exe
but i get error message --> error [260] connection
what should i do?

finally, succeed reverting back to winmo
flashing by SD card because i coudn't flash by ROMUpdateUtility

[Q] error code 8007054

hey guys can u help me. ive got "error code 800705B4" (cant update). ive found solution on ms website, its a "windows phone support tool", i need just install this with their instructions, ok. its sayin that i have to press and hold camera button just after boot. camera button is a hard green button on my HD2 (ive got MAGDLR 1.13 and WP7 from DFT) and have to wait for "connect to PC" screen , but its not working. anyone know how to do it? thanks in advance

Your HD2 cannot be updated through Zune. You have to flash an already updated ROM.
