New but not novice.
I recently installed Touch-IT Rom on my wing. I love it. Although...
The email tab on the HTC Home Today page allways takes me to MMS messages.
How can I change it to take me to my exchange email?
Thank
Brian

I've poured through many of the threads, and you guys are doing awesome work!
I have a Treo 750, and was interested in seeing if anyone is using a skin or program where they're able to support multiple email accounts on the today screen new email notification.
For example my normal WM6 today screen shows both my Yahoo new email as well as my Exchange email. This is great because I know with a new message if it's work related or personal.
Has anyone figured a way to build this into mobile shell or any other theme program? I would be forever grateful! Thanks!
Hi
I was in Taiwan and I had a play with the MAGIC, I was very impressed. I even setup my exchange activesync mail from the mail menu.
I came back to Australia and purchased one today. I have turned on and there is NO exchange setup choice in mail?
Huh?
Where did it go? I cannot use it without exchange email
Is vodafone not including this in their build?
Thanks ANdrew
You are exactly right, some versions do not include exchange support, you can install a ROM that does have it,
Another thing to note is there is a bug if you have a space in your username
EG
Domain\First Last
this will not work until the bug is fixed.
thanks for the info and quick reply.
I am a newbie...
ANy suggestions on the rom i should install (english) with instructions
Thanks
There are a few about, i would do a search and see what you like best
Hi,
The Email Tab in sense doesn't link to my inbox anymore. I'va had my HD2 a week now and just installed the new Hotfixes released by HTC. Since then it seems that when i click an email preview it doesn't go to my inbox.
Does anyone else have this issue? How to get that link back in place?
Thanks.
PS I'm a bit of a newbie.
Click Start - left bottom corner - LOCK
Unlock and emails link in Sense works
Wow that was fast.
Thanks a lot. That has been bugging me for a while.
Hello Everyone,
I am new to this site and I am blown away by how detail the information is here. I recently bought a US T-Mobile HD2. I installed Cookies Tab Editor and have been having a blast playing with it. My cocern is, once I access my Email ( I have 2 accounts. Outlook and AOL) I can not exit to the home screen or any other screens. I have to soft reset the phone. Has anyone esle experienced this? I am wondering if this is a Cookies problem or possibly a WM 6.5 problem.
Thanks in advanced Jeff.
Hi , I have the same exact problem, if I have emails to either my gmail or comcast accounts , the phone lock up and I have to soft re-set or pull battery.this is a second TMOUS htc hd2, the phone works fine when delete all
email accounts or having no emails coming , I read it somewhere that you can disable HTC sense email and use winmo email, don't know how,, HELP !!!! more search...
Edit: after a few days of searching and reading up , i seem to find my own answer , my hd2 works ok now ,thanks.
Hi,
I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me with this.
I've just flashed to Cookie Energy Style, and had downloaded and installed the CAB for HTC Messaging, which now seems to be okay.
However, I'm wondering if there is a similar one for HTC Email. I have done a search on this thread, but can only find posts related to the text messaging side of things.
When I actually open an email and click reply, it seems to use the HTC email, which is what I wanted. However, if I'm viewing the email as the preview, or select 'New' from the menu, it opens the email/reply in Windows Email.
Is there anyway to configure this so it always uses the HTC email client instead?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Click to collapse
There isnt a HTC email client, HTC adds some features to the winmo client, if you can see a search button in the upper right corner when you open a rcvd email msg (+ a big "To" btn upper left in outlook exchange account) then thats your lot.
