I've just bought a Dopod C800, which has IPL 1.09.0001 and SPL 1.09.0001. I want to upgrade to the HTC's official WM6. For that I've read that I should first put on hard-SPL before upgrading. I've downloaded the latest from here
Now, my question is:is it safe to directly run the official WM6 ROM upgrade from HTC to upgrade my OS?

Hi,
I'm gonna show my newbie colours here, despite the fact I've had my Prophet for a couple of months now...
I recently upgraded the ROM with the latest DOPOD (RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID.zip) From your FTP Site - THANK YOU!!) and found that my soft came up as:
IPL: 2.09.0001
SPL: 2.15.0001
GSM: 02.19.21
OS: 2.15.13.27
Thus, my IPL did not upgrade. I unlocked my CID (or so I whought...). Is this normal? Should it not upgrade? Am I doing something wrong?
For those looking for refs on the upgrade, the ROM seems more stable than the latest JAMin (2.13....) and is visibly faster than ever before.
Thanks for your help!!
anyone has an answer to this question?
I upgraded my Qtek S200 to the latest qtek french rom available on the ftp... my spl is 2.15.0000... but ipl is still 2.09.
is it a problem?
when you use a normal Rom Update do not change the RadioRom version !!!
here find you the last RadioRom v2.30.21 from PDAMobiz install and enjoy !!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=60898
(donĀ“t need to Backup the Prophet !!!)
the radio was updated to the latest version with my last rom update... only IPL was not updated... so I do not really need this...
the only thing we have to know is if it's "normal" that IPL was not updated with a rom update...
no one has an answer to this (why ipl does not upgrade) ?
hello!
just update my imate jasjam with htc new rom 1.35
but my radio id 1.18
do i need to make it biger version or i can leave it like this
and if i need where can i find biger radio version ilooked for and didnt found
thx!!!
Radio 1.18 comes with the 1.35 ROM
There is a Radio 1.20 on the ftp but to install this your will have to downgrade your bootloader and flash just the radio part of your ROM.
This can be a tricky process (since the tools needed are copyrighted and will not be posted on here) and many people have bricked their TyTNs so I would recommend you stick with 1.18 unless your having problems or do some research first.
S.K.
Thx I See
But I Had Bootloader 1.06
I Put 1.04 Crack It
Now After The New Rom I Put I Have 1.09 Bootloader
But When I Crack It Iv Got Super Cid
So Why Cant I Upgrate The Radio
So You Mean Now I Cant Upgrate Any Rom.....
I Understand That With Super Cid You Can Do Every Thing
My s200 have IPL 2.10.0001 SPL 2.10.001 OS 2.10.7.24 WM5

hello
i want ask something
my phone had spl - ipl 2.20 (i think)
i used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=372152 uspl and then hspl 3.10 for unlock my device and i flash it with cooked rom
the problem is that now i want to flash it to original rom 2.20.405.1b but i can't (error in 1%)
can you tell me the solution please
Hi
Basically shipped (original) rom has it's own spl, and HardSpl prevents overwriting spl by any rom, that's why you can't install a shipped rom. Read this thread to find how to remove it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445666.
thank you tito
i flash it again with spl 2.20 and it's ok
now i must send it for sim service
You're welcome. Good luck
