Where can I get this with out having to purchase it from KSE, the software was in the last version but not in this on it was also on my PDA2K??
KSE TrueFax 2.08 & 2.06

hopefully, you are lucky with fax !!!
The truefax version from the XDAII 1.72 appsuite is not useable, because it checks the rom version. Same for zip and fonix
I published a modified cab for fax & zip that does work.
Keep in minde that you operator has to allow you to send/receive faxes and that the s/w is not that stable.

Hi,
I have been thinking lately of upgrading my QTEK 1010 to Windows Mobile 2003 but i dont know how. I have looked at the rom pages but do these install windows mobile 2003 and all its software? or do the roms just prepare the device for an upgrade.
Also what problems are there with windows mobile 2003 on the QTEK 1010?
One last question... Does anyone know if the QTEK 1010 has an SDIO slot? i've looked on the internet and some places say yes and some say no.
My device details are as follows just incase you need them:
ROM Version 3.18.04 ENG
ROM date: 05/22/03
Radio Version: 3.25.01
Protocol Version: 32S54
Model: PW10A1
I would really like to upgrade ASAP but not mess it up as this is my primary phone and i'm always using it.
Hope to hear from someone soon.
Thanks
ROMs are complete, so you just have to install them....
Qtek 1010 has just SD slot, but no SDIO.....
Stefan
Thanks for the reply
I'll try installing a rom later but is there anything i should know about like will it mess up the phone feature? will SMS's finally have the contacts name? and will everything still work? Also i've been looking around the forums and i need to do a hard reset so how do i backup my data? does SD Backup backup everything?
Thanks
Ok, it upgraded brilliantly! everything works perfect except one little thing.... I backed everything up before i upgraded and i just came to restore them and it comes up a restore error :S any help on this?
Thanks
activesync backups dont work between rom versions
argh!!! i need help now windows mobile 2003 automatically requests delivery reciepts but o2 charges for these so its costing me 20p per text! any ideas how i can switch this off? its really doing my head in and wasting my credit!
Please help!
Thanks
You´re sure, it is the delivery report you´re getting? Don´t know it exactly, but i think since WM2003 you get an hint that the SMS is delieverd to the netowrk. Tis is a ocal message and do not cost anything. If you got the message that the message has been received by the other mobluser, than you have the delvery reports enabled. it could be switched off permanently by setting
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings]
"SMSDeliveryNotify"=dword:00000000
in the registry....
Stefan
thanks for the reply but i've just tried this method and it doesn't work. its still saying message sent and chanrging me an extra 10p for saying it any other ways it can be disabled?
The message "message sent" doesn´t cost you anything. Ths message is generated localy on your device and it means, that the message as left your outbox and is sent to your provider....
You don´t have to care about it.....

I brought german Xda neo (Rom : 2.15.13.27 WWE). It hangs on incoming call. I see the notification screen with incoming number. But cannot accept or reject call and the phone hangs. I have to do hard reset everytime. Is there any solution ??
Is the rom correct or is there any update. Pleaseeee help.

look for radio rom version problems ..
Well, most easy thing to do to check whether it's the rom or not is to update to the latest qtek rom or something. If it also does it on that rom then you know it's the phone.
On the other hand, are you running any other programs that interfere with incoming calls etc? Best way to test it is with a clean install obviously.
Haven't heared this problem before, so it might just be your phone.
If your overclocking with the 2.20.7.34 ROM then you might have this problem, it took me sometime to track it down to that - Hell this baby does just fine at 195MHZ!!! Take the last posters advice and try on a 'clean' install and you shouldn't have any problems.
Is that 2.15.4.47 GER a german ROM ? i am using english version and need english rom. Well, for time being my problem is sloved. I changed my rington to simple one, removed some applications(calculator).
I have just recently bought a M3100 (second hand) and am having some problems receiving incoming calls.
Things I have done:
1. The phone was locked to Orange, so I ran the superb tools on this site to SIM & CID unlock the phone, inserted my T-Mobile SIM and all seemed OK.
The phone working for about a day on incoming and out going calls fine, I then started to add various software I have used in the past (magic button, pocket infomant, ewallet, sprite backup etc). I then discovered I could not get any incoming calls, but could make outgoing calls OK.
2. I then decided to update the ROM to the latest Orange ROM from the orange website (not knowing if the previous owner of the phone had modified something). This came up with an error and hence used Extract NBH, Customer RUU as per previos posts on this site which all seemed to work OK.
Just for information when I orginally tried to upgrade the ROM, the boot screen said SPL 1.4 olipro ?
3. Even with this new ROM (phone sill unlocked), the incoming calls don't seem to work very often.
I am a newbie to all this, so is this problem due to the radio software, or have I just got a faulty phone ?
Thanks.

You have read the mrvanx guide I take it, if not click it on my signature. Have you installed the latest hard SPl v7? and what radio version are you using, because each time you upgrade the rom the radio does not change and you need to upgrade this seperately. I need more info.

Site should be back on soon, best to wait. The radio version you have is not the newest but should be ok. Try a hard reset while you are waiting to see if this helps.

looks like the problem is with T Mobile in my area, but thanks for the help !
Hi,
I developed an application on Windows Mobile 2003 (i-mate) that establishes TAPI data call between two PDA devices on CSD line (v110). Now I have hTC TyTN II with Windows Mobile 6.1 installed on it (downloaded from hTC's official website). I sucessfully compiled my code for hTC TyTN II (WM 6.1). But TAPI data call is not establishing. Even on receiving-end no event of TAPI was received. Here is my OS/ROM configuration of TyTN II:
OS : Windows Mobile 6.1
ROM Version : 3.28.405.0 WWE
ROM Date : 05/02/08
Radio Version : 1.65.17.56
Protocol Version : 25.83.40.02H
Are ROM vs Radio versions compatible? Or there could be some other problem?
Looking forward for response!
