Eversince the upgrade, I've noticed that the volume of any notification is too low and barely audible.
Any fix for this?
Did you install the WM6_SoundFix_ cab file?

Yes I did. Initially I hadn't and thought that this would actually fix the issue.
However, there's no apparent change.
I'm having the same problem, I can barely hear anything when making a phone call. I did helmi's sound fix but still no luck. Can anyone help??
I just updated to Radio: 1.15.00 too, still no luck

HTC published a patch over a month ago.
http://www.htc.com/uk/supportdownloadlist.aspx?p_id=291&act=sd&cat=all
Will need to run after every hard reset as not in the rom.
M.S
i could set the mp3 as ringtone even without the patch
It is not the deal that you can't, but it has bugs.
I have the same problem 3. I download a patch from HTC Taiwan. But got the software crash two times on MP3 ring tone.
Have you disabled the Single Volume option?
It happened to me when I disabled the Single Volume option, and went away enabling it..!!
It just happened..!!
apply the patch and problem is solved.
I had the same prob and now it hasn't happened anymore since...

Hi, my gf got the same problem. Can you please send me the patch? It's not available on HTC's webpage any more.
Please send me a pm.
I think it has been removed by HTC as there were bugs in the patch which used to crash few other applications like HTC Album. It used to show some javascript error.

I have the same problem. I kinda' solve it in december last year installing the patch on htc.com. It's true that the patch caused other problems (I got errors in the music tab and in media player) but I prefer my phone to ring properly.
The problem is that I've done a hard reset a couple of days ago and the problem began to show again . I can't find the patch anymore on htc site .
Could someone send it to me? Thank you!
Well if you guys still need it let me upload it somewhere then ..i still keep the files. although it does fix the issue, each time you slide towards music tab, it gives some weird code error issue which is why they remove it (emailed them regarding this)
I'm having the same issue, just missed a call from my boss today
If anyone could provide the patch it would be greatly appreciated.
Also I did a research on google and got alot of results where people complained about their htc phones (various models) not ringing. Some think that it has something to do with time.. If the setting "turn the phone off in .. minutes" is on, then the time goes off. When you press the power button after a while, then you see the time jumping from i.e 14.21 to 14.28 instantly.
I'm hoping that this patch will solve the issue though on my touch 2
-edit-
I wonder if it works OK with the default ringtones.. didn't test with those much, changed to mp3 the same day I bought the phone and it has been doing tricks ever since.
That would be great, LacusClyne!
Uploaded the file.

Enjoy guys ..hope it work.
If problems occur after installing htc patch, then be brave enough and flash a newer/cooked ROM and all the above mentioned issues will be gone for good...
@LacusClyne thank you very much for the uploaded file .
Did someone tryed to convert an mp3 song to another format (wav or anything else) and try it that way? Cause I understand this is a problem with .mp3 files...

i am usin a bluetooth stereo headset, the sony ericsoon mw600, and i don't have any issues with it. Always listening to music and sound comes from both earbuds.
The problem lies in when you try and make a phonecall. For music I'm golden, It's only when I try and make a call that the fail begins...
This has been reported and is in the list of fixes for the next update.
Same problem...
Exactly the same...discovered such a consistent problem with the earphones with the calls myself. This relates to a software problem or device difference I think. Since this is a beta problems surely will exist. In addition the other party has difficulty hearing my voice from the earphones microfone. Only left earphone is working. However I recall in the first days of the usage; having spoken without problems with the earphones (both working). Do you have sound enhancer installed? Have you changed any settings. I will try default settings and an uninstallation tomorrow since it has no functionality (not working at all). Will report later...see ya all
I know it's been reported, I was one of the first to report it. Just seeing if there is a fix I missed.
Well, I've flashed WinMo7 a few times now and noticed that the headset workes fine and dandy up untill I activate XBOX live. Immediantly afterwords the headset problem begins. Im sure this will all be fixed with an update. Just curious if anyone knows of a quickfix I might have missed.
By the way, I think I kinda love WinMo7.
Thanks guys

HI,
Firstly this started 5wks ago out of the blue.
My problem is I cannot hear a voice from an incoming call!
I can be heard on both incoming and outgoing calls
It has worked on a couple of occasions for a few seconds but is very distorted and sometimes you can hear them faintly in the background for a few seconds.
Works fine on speaker and headphones.
I’ve tried numerous roms clean installs, swapping kernels …blah blah blah
I’m at a complete loss and its driving me friggin crazy!!
I have a Logcat of me making a call.
I’m hoping that someone will be able to decipher and point me in the right direction.
From what I see its routing audio to speakerphone and not handset??
I don’t know if this the correct way to post a log…if not go easy on me…
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
+Thanks for taking the time to look.

Hi,
the only other radio I have tried Leo_RADIO_2.14.50.02 and sadly the same.
Just about to install Dorimanx new rom + kernel v1.6 (Fingers crossed)
Thanks for taking the time to reply...
EDIT: Installing new rom+kernel has made no difference.

Weird idea: flash a stock HTC WinMo ROM to rule out hardware error.

Considered that as a last resort.
Haven’t yet looked into it, was hoping that I din't have to go down that road.
I’m assuming that there is a fare amount involved in doing so?
Cheers
Edit: Installed WinMo NRG Energy rom and have the same problem!
I'm now assuming that this is unfortunately a hardware issue
Thanks Dr_Grip for input - Appreciated

I can't hang up my phone, for some reason. If I call someone, and they don't answer, it goes to voicemail, and I can't hang up the phone. I tried pressing the red button, but the screen doesn't come on, and the only thing I can do after that is to pull the battery.
I'm using the ROM from this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953078
Firmware Revision Number: 2250.09.07491.HD2O
Radio Software Version: 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U
I don't know if this information is helpful, but I hope someone can help me out.
Thanks!
Hi!
Should be easy to fix Go to settings, brightness, turn off automatic adjustment, restart phone - done!
Please let me know how it goes!
/Anders
Hi
Thanks for the advice, but it didn't seem to work.
The call works and all, but the screen is still blank, and pressing the buttons does nothing. I also tried holding on to the buttons, but it still didn't work.
It should be noted, however, that the call actually does go through, and I can talk normally. If the other party hangs up, I get my functionality back.
Really weird.
*edit* I've also tried other ROMs, and this occurs on pdaimatejam's ROM as well. I changed to this one because I thought there was something wrong with the WP7 Tango. It worked for a while, and randomly stopped working on pdaimatejam's ROM.
Now that is really strange! Have you had problems like this using Android or WM?
/Anders
No, I haven't. It's not a hardware issue, if that's what you're thinking.
I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with WP7. I just don't know what. Hmm.. Maybe I'll go try flash Mango and see if the problem's still there.
I had that issue but with HD2Owner ROM's, but with Pdaimatejam ROM's (7.3 or 7.5) it seems solved. Try it.

No, I haven't. I just live with it for now. I don't call people until I'm sure they're going to answer. If they don't, well, lucky the phone boots up fast.
hey,
maybe anyone can help me, since i installed android. Its been a long time btw but i got some problems when i get calls or want to call someone. Sometimes everything works quite well. But sometimes, when i pick up or the other persons picks ups, after a few seconds the call interrupts with wired sounds.
I dont know why, got somebody else similiar problems? or does anybody know a solution to fix this issue?

Yeah i updated it yesterday. I'll see wether the problem is still remaining. Dial tones are off. This is the first thing i did. Hate those sounds
But my question is, did somebody else got those problems? I searched forum and found only one thread, but there was also no solution for it.

Okay, i googled "robot voice" didnt know that this problem was called like that. Like i wrote ill wait wether the problem with the new radio rom is still remaining. I have to wait a few days and chech it.
