Just to let folks know, Vieka's task manager is now WM5 compatible with neat icons, cool settings and a groovey battery/memory icon. For me its beats magicbutton and gspocketmagic. Freeware too! nice...

Which tool are you using?
iLauncher 2.3 or SPB Pocket Plus 3.1
or even an other tool ...let me know.
I like SPB, I am used to it and I get other plugins incorporated in it, ie. weather, backup, spb to play, and nice Icons.
I'm using both - iLauncher because I just find it better to use on my today screen, and I like having a row of "QuickStart" icons in my system tray, and P+ because it lets me use multiple windows in pIE, and gives me a task manager on my close button.
Of course, if Multiie or PiePlus (or anything similar) are ever updated for WM5, I'll be ditching P+ and using a seperate task manager along with iLauncher. (Wisbar Lite, perhaps)
All very complicated, this software business...!
Is there any program out that will transform the default bar on the today screen into a taskbar? It would be great if it could work like X-Button, where it would only show icons of the programs running in the background. A single click could launch the app and holding it could close it. I know of a lot of programs that show recently used apps, but not the apps that are actually running in the background.
tried wktask ?
cool, thanks
I enjoy AudioManager, but I'm not particularly fond of TF3D. However, it appears that certain modules of TF3D, such as Audio Manager or the new Rhodium TF3D Contact app, require TF3D to be running as the today plugin.
My question is, is there a way to start these TF3D apps without necessarily having TF3D be running as the today plugin? Could you invoke those apps independently by doing something like the following?:
"manila.exe -audiomanager"
Thanks!
I prefer a link to the build in task manager rather than duttys task manager since it seems like duttys task manager does not show all running tasks... But the icon for the build in task manager is ugly and low ress... is there any way to change this?
