Anyway I want to bid for a I-mate Pocket PC on ebay but the guy selling it says................. "#NOTE# That this pocket pc is blocked on Australian GSM networks. Though the phone handset is blocked, GPRS is still useable and all PDA functions work".
Will i be able to unblock the imate so i can use my vodafone sim and use it to call people.And also can some one tell me how can it be blocked in Australia?

that device is not a wallaby device but a himalaya device so it's kinda in the wrong forum
i've never heard about a block where gprs still worked not sure how it could be

if it's imei locked which phones reported stolen are then not sure if there is anything you can do but if it's imai locked then gprs not work
Can anyone please help me I have tried to unlock my 8125 with the instructions and I can not get it to work. I have also paid several dollars for the unlock code and it the same thing. I am going to England on Monday and I need the unlock code. If anyone can help me then maybe I can help you with a cingular issue or maybe tmobile.

I just unlocked my 8125 but now my internet will not work and I think it s because of the inter net settings..please help or so I have to go through tmobile

call t-mobile and ask them for the unlock code,tell them your going overseas.
it wont work on boost mobile.
But you could still call them and ask for the unlock code, correct?

T-Mobile has an amazing unlock policy...
If you have a contract with them, just call 611 on your phone and request the unlock code...
Basically, if you're past your 30 day return window, and on a contract, they know they'll get their money back if you change carriers/early terminate...
But then again, with how helpful T-Mobile is, who would want to go to another carrier? ;-)
I'm actually sitting outside my store right now waiting for the FedEx guy to drop off my Wing so I can get on T-Mobile... (I just started working for T-Mobile 2 months ago, and I gotta say, their customer support is amazing by comparison)
+1 on asking T-Mobile. I have had excellent customer service from them, from them replacing a SIM card (the phone was lost, so I had the old SIM card disabled, and unlocked an inexpensive TracFone to work with the new one.)
If T-Mobile won't give the code, I'd hit up the usual denezins on the Internet for unlock stuff. www.imei-check.co.uk comes recommended, and can CID/SIM unlock the Wing for you for about $40.
I have some questions:
1. If I will change ROM to another version. Will it remove operator locking?
2. Or if I will bay code at byIMEI-unlocking service so how often I will need enter this code? Once? Or every rebooting, hard reseting, removing battery?
3. Tell me please and another ways to unlock my phone if I am located not in USA.

1. changing the rom will not sim unlock your phone
2. if you go online and buy an unlock code you only have to enter it once, but you will have to enter a sim from another service provider
i have a t mobile wing and would like to know how to unlock it so i may use my att sim in it full functional, im new here can sum one pplz help me out????
call to the tmobile customer service and ask for a unlock code , they will ask you for your imei and an email, and they will send the unlock code to you!!,
That only works if you have had T-mobile for at least 3 months and you have a post-paid account, i.e. not flexpay or T-mobile-to-go. And you can only do it once every 90 days, whether you get a different phone later or not.

why not ask a friend who has tmobile and let them do the process
