Why do u want the phoneplus when u finding solution to disable the smartdial? If u looking for the function it offered, try using the search button for alternative.
If not wrong phonepad conflict with the smartdial in wm6 thats why its removed.
For the solution, u can try go to the dial screen==>>menu==>>smart dialing option==>>disable smart dialing
Hope this is the solution u looking for
Cheer!!

unfortunately, i Don't have the smart dialing option under menu, neither somewhere else

btw, i dont have any problem with that,.
maybe you could use registry editor, and search any smart dialing keywords, and have some experiment with that,.
if the result is good, then the issue solved, share it to us, okey,.

ftSwitchSIP , Change SIP by one key

On my dopod 900, I use keyboard SIP and PlumSIP, I wanna switch between then quickly.
But Fn+SYM or PQZ doesn't work properly,I try vijay555's SIPSwitch,but it's hard to use.
So I wrote one to switch between different SIP.
First map it to one hardward key,
Then press the key, it change the SIP to next SIP in the system SIP list and show the input panel.
BTW , if u want switch between some peculiar input method, u can use POCKET TWEAK to hide others.
Sorry for my poor english.
thanks a lot !!!
it's what I, not only me but all the chinese, need.
thanks million times.
I also want to know the exact way of hiding some input method, as I have been searching for the POCKET TWEAK you mentioned, but don't get any outcoming.
u can got it from here
http://tillanosoft.com/ce/ptweak.html
You're really unbelievable! FTSwitchSIP comes out just one day after you posted to try to find some tool to switch SIP. Many Chinese users of Dopod 838 and 900, known as Wizard and Universel here, have been searching for such a tool for a long time. I am just one of them who is lucky to find it out first.
I've shared your amazing tool in the pdafans forum, I hope you won't mind.
http://bbs.pdafans.com/viewthread.php?tid=203195
Thanks a lot.
Got PocketTweak.
there seems no direct way of hinding input method.
Would you show me some hints?
I think it has a bug here. I have been using the rom of Traditional Chinese. Got several input methods. And hide some of them with Pocket teak. And install CE and PlumSIP. Now I have 3 input methods. 1. Zhuying ( as default) 2. Mengtian Hand Writing 3. PlumSIP. At the beginning, the switch seems ok. I am very glad and thankful. But when I swicth several times, it stuck and both plumSIP and Mengtian displayed. The PPC is hanged. Only reset can make it work.
Thanks your reply.
I'll update it on this weekend.
I wanna add some setting and test it again.
thanks a lot.
I've been searching for such software a lot.

the tool works fine.. maybe u can try to hide sme OEM sips u dont use and try awain.. may be a memory issue
How do I go about that then - just delete the registry reference to them?
Also can anyone give me a tip on how to locate specific bits of the registry - it took me ages to find the registry entry to pcm keyboard (i'm using regedit).

works perfectly with ipaq hx2495 (WM5)! thanks for posting this cool app!
OMG! Thank you for this. Actualy, I figured out that it's a last thing that I need to be happy with my Artemis. To be able to change small stylus-friendly SIP which I'm used to use in my office to somethig finger-friendly when I'm on the streed by HW button.
Thanks!
What about new version with ability to setup two SIP to cycle just between them? - but as I said, I'm completely hapy as it is.

Busted keys on phone?

Okay, since my first post was dissed and people told me to get out of here, I have adapted to situation where I don't have external keyboard (one that slides under screen) but now I have problem that almost all keys stopped working on front side.
Whenever I'm receiving call, my answer button does not work nor it opens Phone-application when I press it. Also those two keys at top of green answer button and red hangup button does not work. Can anyone help me?
Same here!
Here u can find my desperate try to resolve this issue...
Same thing here...
It seems to be totally "randomness"...
Which ROM did u install on your devices ?
Did u install third party softs ? (I especially think about SPB softs)
Actually I've Faria's rom.
But i tried to reflash many others roms & different versions... (black, lvsw...)
Also reflashed the IPL...
Also refreshed to olipro...
Also, also, also...

Mind to tell me how to disable this software? Is it something called "softkeys" ?

Disabling SPB would be done through teh Remove Programs app under settings > system.
Or maybe through the Today Plugin screen - select it and see if there are options.
Moved to the main Hermes forum. Keep all non WM6 related threads there please. I'm not dissing you. Just keeping the forum clean.

Any Working SIP Client on HD2 ?

Looking for a working sip client for HD2. Anyone knows any? and how to setup?
tried WM Voip pack. Cudnt get it to work. Also seems cant use with Sense UI.
thanks
anyone please
did u try portsip? works on HD tho...
Alll existing SIP's work but after a reboot a app crashes on startup but your select keyboard does become the default one
I've had success with both PortSIP and the WM client cab file in the following link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401608&highlight=destr0+voip
Need to edit your dialplan with the cab file but otherwise both routes worked fine.

May I know what you did after installing the WM client?
Can you use it from the HTC Sense Dialer?
thanks
Yep, you can use it from the sense dialer.
You've to activate "internet calls" in "Settings > Personal > Phone" on the "internet" tab.
Then when you're connected to a WLAN, you can see in the dialer the name of the VoIP service you use.
So, when you make a call, it automatically use the SIP account defined in WM settings!
In fact, on my HD2, it works well, but the sound comes from the external speaker... that's a shame!
And I even tried to install audioroute, but then the volume is too low.
So, if you find a solution to this problem, this would be really nice to share it!
Good luck!

I don't know what the problem is. I had originally downloaded Audioreoute just in case as I expected the speaker problem from reading the threads... but no issue for me. I tried installing audioroute anyways and it had no effect.
Maybe another program getting in the way? I had mine set-up on a completely fresh install with no other apps.
Do you have the same problem using PortSIP? That worked for me pretty well also but doesn't handle incoming calls properly when the device is in standby.

Really the only way to check is to turn off Sense UI in the today screen options and check off the internet calling today item. Then from the home screen you can see the status of your internet phone connection.
Other option is to install something like second today with the same item checked so you can switch to that to monitor it.

I just updated my ROM to the official 1.66 (french), so I could install again the good .CAB file (destr0 voip), but the problem is still the same...
That's really annoying.
I tried with PortSIP: the sound come from the earpiece, but the voice is cut when I call somebody.
I guess I've to forget for VoIP...
