Hi all can any one help please i wont to remove o2 ative from the extened rom, Can i do that with out loosing my GPRS , i just wont a simple interface when i need to do hard reset , Can any one give me a little advice please, Plus could i make a boot image so it can run from Sd card .
Sorry about this but is there any way of putting my Email conection direct in to the ext rom so if i do hard reset it still there.

If you remove the link from the \windows\startup directory and simply do a soft reset then Active sync wont automatically start, but if you do wont to use it, the link will still be on your start menu.
I recommend using Sprite Backup

I have two model of my friends to repair
In first case.... I don't know version of radio this model before but i think may be he try to upgrade in 4.21. ...i test wallaby and That show gsm error on bootloader screen V5.17 .... I reset it and that show 3.14 and no radio...and g...then i press volume key until that show today screen...but no have start menu
That show blue color on top of screen ...but have owner name calendar and contact .... I cannot go to start menu coz cannot align sceen i try in 4-5 times but same...
I decide to flash rom to xda.ser12 by patch wallaby.... Finish.. cold reset...
It show front page of loader in xda-developers and 3.17.03 no s ..g same
But i can go to aligne screen and go to today screen....... I try to find Rsugrade.lnk and ...this

That show ..radio stack upgrade but cannot pass 1% it's show fail press ok to reset ...
I try to do in same at 5 time and results is Same..... How can i do ... I don't know the way to pass 1%.....
2. In another model my friend he told me...
His O2 is rom 4.00.11ENG and Radio is 4.16
He want to upgrade to 4.21 .....
but he didn't up radio by use Program B to upgrade ...
He remove sim card and fully charge of battery.... And copy 4 files of Pc to xda by active sync ....

And he put out of cradle .. And go to start-file explorer and press rsugrade.exe

4.00.11 but no have radio ...e press volume key to go today screen.... That ok. Not same as in one case that i wrote... He delete..

From O2 and reset..... Wait to go today screen..... And sync with Pc... Pass can sync with Pc... He copy 4 files from pc to xda by active sync... Put it of and ran...rsugrade.exe same...that i wrote cannot pass 1% same show upgrade fail press ok to reset and he try to do like this in 4 times but same result.....

It looks like you have tried just about everything, rs 4.21 was the baddest of the bad when it was released, the tales of woe are endless where that radio stack is concerned. There is a person on this forum that can fix your xda but he lives in Canada and it may not be worth the trouble. I think his nickname is cgigate.

Contact your dealer for the nearest repair centre. They will replace your radio with a new one using a special SD-card. This will work regardless of your current radio.

last try to flash rom in first case to 4.01.16 original roby t mobile....until finish i can go to today screen and align screen......and..can...sync dead xda in 1 case with pc...and copy 4 files to xda....run rsupgrade.exe...bad luck cannot pass 1% same in all lastest radio all of version
( asia,at&t,t-mobile)and when i flash back to another rom like a xda-developre ser 1.2 that cannot show align screen.... but jump to today screen without align screen ?.....and cannot sync to pc ...

You need to replace the radio stack using a special SD-card, and your dealer (or a repair shop) should definitely be able to do this for you. This is the normal way for the service guys to do an upgrade, they won't rely on the USB sync to work.
I had the same thing happening to a friend of mine, and we got his device updated for free.

After spending some night to test on the xda1. I found that if your radio stack error, you can never get the radio stack fix in any way. So, don't try it because i waste your time. We can only fix it when we have the sc card radio stack fix by using the bootloader. (there is no way to fix it in window)
SX56 GSM ERROR YOU CAN FIX IT
In Some cases, you can fix this yourself, read this thread (last line of this post links to it), and try my solution, or PM me and I will make arrangements to fix it for you.
Too many people are getting this error, SIEMENS only wants your money, everyone is looking for an answer. It took some time, but I fixed mine, and I'll help anyone who needs it do the same for their SX56.

everything started after i overclocked me wizard and tried to instal skype for low cpu. the clock in TCMPM showed 240 so i thought it is gonna be enaugh but unfortunetly i could instal it. it just frezzes on the instalation screen and thats it...by the way wizard dyspalyed info that phone is running on low memory so i removed some apps but didnt help. after using memory clear utility i did a hard reset. but right now i cannot instal anything. every time i download *.cab file to my phone and i save it to my storage card and try to instal it just dosnt work. what is the problem can someone sort this out ?? any advice !!!

I changed the SIM card, I put the battery again, but now I'm not able to enter windows. I write my password but it say it isn't correct. I can't understand it!!!!
even if I put my old SIM or without sim, now it doesn´t recognise my password.
I wouldn´t like to reinstall everyth just now :-(

It was said multiple times here, that you should not set up device password because of intermittent errors related to it. Now all ypou can do is HardReset and recover from last backup. Or maybe it's time to make your first backup?

here u go without a HARD RESET
just go to the hard reset menu by pressing camera+record and reset.
Select yes for clean registry hive and no for others than save.
it will remove password but u may have to re-install some of ur softwares and re configure some settings.
All ur msgs, contact etc. remain intact.
I CAN CONFIRM THIS CAUSE IT HAPPENS WITH ME TOO AND YES TODAY.
This is in fact a Hard Reset (cleaning registry) without formatting internal flash - so files from it are not lost, but most applications will need regular reinstallation.
well it has been said that when you want to remove the battery for some reason, just press the power button to put the device on standby, wait 20 seconds, and then remove the battery without waking the device, this way your registry stuff remains intact and it is a lot harder to screw your pasword.
krishan2207's way is more proper for your case, you will suffer almost nothing this way
My ipaq 612c was very slooowwww since 2 days..
the booting process could take 2 mins..
also the touchflo can't load..
and when i click start menu, it can take up to 3 secs until the menu appear..
i have tried to hard reset, trying all roms from 6.1 to 6.5 v0.4..

Try HP Official ROM
try 2 go back 2 hp rom or clean 6.1 rom (clean= no 3part apps like TFLO3D..) and then take out your card
check if your device works better
if so try diffrent card &/or format it
if u get issues when the card is full then u may have a file on your card that will effect the os
also reinstalling the card good (in plase) may effect it's functionalty
if you only have issues with this one get a new card
if it is not the card u may want 2 check 3part apps that u use or even reffering attcment 2 your card using reg hack may effect the device
when u test the device always do it when it is "clean" with no 3part apps or reg hackes
only when u get it working try 2 reinstall your apps/reg hacks one by one so u will find ...

if u have no issues with your phone (wifi/gprs/bt..) don't try 2 fix it
so i won't try to upgrade my bios to 0.89.. lol
