xda11mini not booting-up - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

My son accidentally spilt beer on his xda.Two of the contacts to the battery (furthest from lower edge) were stuck to the battery but I have freed them.On recharging the phone it worked for a day........ Now on switch on the O2 screen appears for about 8 seconds, the red &green leds in"phone"switches are on for about 2 seconds then blank screen. The charge led does not come on, but the process repeats while trying to charge.
Any help appreciated by an old Dad.

If something's blown inside then I'm afraid there's no quick and easy fix.
What you can try to do though, is open up the phone and let it dry, and hopefully it comes back up afterwards.
I've heard stories where someone dropped his Magician into the swimming pool, and after he let it dry with the case open for 2 days it works again. So a bit of beer can't be all that bad.

[Q] Nexus 4 battery woes

Hey guys
I just had my digitizer and LCD replaced. My battery appeared to be damaged when I ripped it out, and the back cover was cracked extensively from the drop.
I got the phone back from the repairer with just a new screen/lcd in it, who said he had troubles powering it on. I got it home and charged it for half an hour and it would get to the google circles spinning and it would cut out and go back to the charging screen.
I ordered a new battery and installed it this afternoon, about an hour or so ago.
When I plug the phone in to the power, the light flashes orange for less than a second and it stops. No buttons are responsive.
If I hold down the vol-down button and insert the micro usb, it goes to the bootloader menu and stays there. If I select start it shows the 'Google' screen then cuts out and the light flashes orange once. If I hold vol-up when inserting, it shows the battery charging icon for a few minutes and then cuts out, and when it does the light flashes orange once.
I've left it sitting for about half an hour now and it's still not responsive.
Anyone have any ideas whats going on before I put the original battery back in?
Put the old battery back in with the same results.
What the hell is going on :/

Nexus 4 not switching on. Very dim green led. Battery is new.

Hi,
I've been using a Nexus 4 since 3.5 years and suddenly one day the phone started to misbehave. It started showing the charging sign without being connected to the charger and the next day it wasn't charging above 20%.
It isn't switching on now.
When I connect it with the charger, for a few seconds a very dim green led blinks and then goes off.
Sometimes the charging sign does show up but within a few minutes it goes off.
Once or twice I don't know how I reached the boot screen and came across the 'Android is optimizing' thing but the phone again switched off around optimizing app 150 of 173.
I purchased a new original battery from the LG service center but it also didn't help.
The reply I got from the service center was that they're unable to understand the issue with my phone.
Also,
I've noticed that the green led brightens up when I press the cable too hard but then automatically goes off or dims.
Please help me with this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Dropped my phone - wont start but red light and buzzer flickers every thirty seconds.

Hi
So as per title, I dropped my axon 7 and it died about 2 seconds after. It won't boot and no button press combo seems to get a response.
The battery was full.
There is no sign of life other than the red light pulsing on/off for 5 seconds every 45 seconds or so.
It would also buzz for a 1/2 second right before the light pulse.
This pulsing combo lasted for about 6 hours before, i suspect, the battery died.
I was also charging it the whole time but that didnt seem to do anything.
The light/buzzing pulse occurred if plugged into to charger or not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,
I had a similar problem, dropped my phone and it died. When trying to turn it on Red light flashing and buzzing in a long interval (about 20-30 seconds).
I got my phone repaired on warranty. They said that mainboard was faulty. If you still have your warranty use it asap and take your axon to Service point.

Won't switch on, or off...

Hi all. my Samsung S7 Edge was working fine albeit a bit sluggish at times but it was okay. I was down to 14% charge and so connected it to its Samsung charger with a non stock cable which is its usual charging process. It was otherwise okay and the screen went off so it was completely black, the red charging LED came on and I left it like that for a little while. It is still in that precise state and no sequence of button pressing for any amount of time gets any response at all. Nothing, no vibrate, no charging indicator, no flicker - absolutely nothing changing. Red LED and blank screen, no response. I would like to discharge the battery asap and have clamped the Vol- and on/off button pressed for 20 minutes and it is not connected to anything. It is not rooted and there is no response if I connect it to a computer. Is it bricked? How can a phone 'brick' while working as it should?
So I removed the back, disconnected the battery for a minute or so and reconnected it. The red light had gone off and now nothing, no light at all and it is connected to the charger with the Samsung cable. I have tried a different charger - my laptop. I happen to have an unused battery I was going to replace this one with so I have now also tried another battery. The phone is just dead and no response at all so I guess there is only one option - bin it!
Well I happened to have a smashed S7 Edge so a working motherboard which I replaced and obviously cured it. Restoring as much as I can remember but can anyone still suggest anything I can do that may kick start this motherboard?
The same happened with my S7 Edge, yesterday. Just a blinking blue led and I couldn't turn it on. So I waited till the battery was empty and tried to recharge it. No red led no button combos are working, nothing. The phone is dead.
Was there an update?
