Just wondering if someone have tried Teksoft Bluemouse drivers on their trinity and if so, what is your verdict?
Just been on a private beta session with v1.2 from Teksoft BlueMouse. Everything works well now with my Athena device and Stowaway package ( BT mouse and keyboard). I just got the email that confirms that it has also been released to the public.
You should check this release also. I think it will work with no problems for you also.
Very excited

Is there a way to use my Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth with my PocketPC
I remember reading about a hacked thinkoutside cab file that allows non thinkoutside bluetooth mouse to work with pocket pc's, i cant remember where though so you'll need to google or search the forum i believe it is possible though.

I have wasted so much time and energy looking for such a driver - I have decided to rather get a ThinkOutside mouse than waiting until someone hacks the newer drivers
I had one on loan, it was awesome to work like that - almost like a mini notebook
The other Bluetooth Mice are too :? big anyway ....
I simply don't get what will cost Microsoft to release a driver for their hardware for their OS
Guys, and proud (future) owners of the Thinkoutside Bluetooth external keyboard. Save yourself some time by remembering these two important steps:
1) Thinkoutside PPC driver (current 4.5) must be installed in main memory
2) After pairing, in enabling dialogue, you´ll find another tiny option button "Disable internal HID" (a Bluetooth profile) below the greyed Connect button. Disable Tytn´s HID, and Thinkoutside will work.
Enough that I lost one hour searching for the "how-to-install", previously installed flawlessly on the Prophet...
Anybody know if this works for the Stowaway Travel Mouse aswell? I can't get it to work...
HTC TyTN - Vodafone 1605 Bluetooth ThinkOutside Stowaway Universal Keyboard install.
I just followed the advice from Lucas0511 with driver version 4.52. I used the Stowaway with a PPC2003 Fujitsu Siemens 720 and just got it working with my new Vodafone 1605 phone
I installed the CAB file to the main memory using Cabinstl_en.exe rather than using the .exe which comes in the zip file from www.igo.com. The HTC TyTN Orange 3100 and Vodafone 1605 as of today are not on the supported list but the 4.52 driver obtained by entering the manufacturer
T-mobile Pocket PC and MDAII will get you to the Think Outside PPC En.zip 4.52 4/18/2007 download page which can also be reached by entering:
http://www.thinkoutside.com/support/Drivers.asp?ManufacturerID=43&ModelID=209
Cheers

Uhh maybe it's because you can't use a mouse in windows mobile ?!?!
doh!
p.s. you need special software if you really want to do that.
Hey Everyone,
I just purchased a Logitech v270 BT Mouse for my laptop. I've read somewhere that there's a generic / unlocked BT Mouse Driver floating around for WM5. I searched / googled all over the place but all I came up with is the Thinkoutside locked BT mouse driver (locked to only Thinkoutside BT mice). Does anyone know where I can download the unlocked / generic driver?
Does anyone have the unlocked driver / BT Mouse HID and would email it to me at [email protected]?
I would very very much appreciate any help or links on where to find the BT Mouse Driver / HID software.
Thanks in advance.
wow, I never thought, that this should be a problem. The truth is, that I tested only BT keyboard (few logitech KB´s) and I had no problem. I used BT Broadcomm stack. If I remember correctly, it was one simple application, which allows you to connect standard USB mouse throught USB host (with external power supply in some cases). I used it for a while on my previous pda - FS Loox n500. It worked, but not so stable. On screen was a little cursor, but it dissapear randomly. I never heard about driver for hermes... Try to look to Fujitsu-Siemens forums. Maybe you can find answers there. I am currious about sollution.
Hey sinmae,
I have no problems with BT keyboards as well. The issue with mice is the mouse pointer arrow (not native to WM5) .... there needs to be software to create the pointer arrow in WM5 so the arrow moves around like it does on a desktop OS. In WM5, I'm able to pair the BT Mouse with a typical MS BT Stack or Widcomm Stack.... the problem is rendering the pointer arrow and moving it around. I read in another post that there's a hacked unlocked Thinkoutside BT Mouse driver but I can't seem to find in. I'll take your advice and search the Fujitsu-Siemens forum. Do you have link to the Fujitsu-Siemens forum you're talking about?
Thanks

I've looked in this way too.
It's really pitty but I found hacked Thinkoutside BT Mouse driver only for WM2003.
It seems that there is no hacked driver for WM5
Hey bobstarina,
Is it possible if you can email me the WM2003 driver/cab if you have it at [email protected]?
Have you already tried the driver on WM5?
What happens? Just curious.
Thanks

Question to anyone with experience hacking drivers,
Since I'm able to download a locked WM5 version for the BT Mouse driver from Thinkoutside:
http://www.thinkoutside.com/support/download.asp?did=161&pid=10&link=/support/Download%20Support/PPC5/En/dr/Think%20Outside%20ppc5%20En.zip
Is difficult (with the right tools) to hack the installer/cab to make it unlocked for any BT Mouse?
I'm hoping the driver is merely filtering device IDs specific to ThinkOutside's mice. I can easily get the device ID of my VT270 from my laptop using Device Properties....
What tools/software are recommended?
I've never hacked a driver before other then hacking a Widcomm Driver where I had to add my device ID to an .ini file using a basic text editor.
If I am successful hacking this driver, I would most certainly share it with the rest of the community
Please Help
hi,
it was long ago, so I deleted all my bookmarks related to FJ Loox device, but try this one - http://www.firstloox.org/ or this one http://www.firstloox.org/forums/index.php?styleid=1 - I will add more, when I find it in my history.

Hey sinmae,
Many many thanks for the links. I'll look into them and report my findings.
Hi, have anyone worked out yet?
It look interesting, i hope it would support wm6 on my asus p535 too.
Thanks
I'm planning to get a bluetooth keyboard for my Kaiser.. will any of the bluetooth keyboards work? or would I have to get one that is specifically for PDAs..
Sorry for such a bump, but I didn't think this required a new thread.
I am also wondering if it is possible to use a Bluetooth keyboard with the Kaiser.

A friend of mine works for a UK company who are trying these out:

She sent me one recently and it seems to work OK with my MDA Vario III
I've been using the Freedom Input Universal keyboard with my Tytn II. It supports the BT HID profile, so no drivers are needed.
My ThinkOutside (now iGO) BT keyboard works perfectly with my Tilt.

Anyone used the BT laser virtual keyboards?

It even made it on CSI...
I searched the forum and found a couple posts about using the Think Outside Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard with the HD, and they seem to have driver problems.
Has anybody successfully used this keyboard with the Touch HD? Or any other bluetooth portable keyboard? If so, what driver did you use? The only place I can find drivers for it is on the iGo website (who no longer sell their branded version of it) and they do list drivers for HTC, but not the Blackstone.
Thanks.
Works fine for me with iGO's last WM5 driver, but driver must be installed in main memory!
Thanks for the quick response. I'm tempted to try one of these.
working great from time that HD got launched.
as always, install drivers to main memory and its no prob.
Same here: Works perfectly!
Same here! Been using the same Stowaway keyboard since 2004 - Imate PDA2K to a IPaq HX2490 to TytnII & now my HD - works great! If you can't get the drivers let me know & I'll send you a copy of mine.

Yeah - I did post about what driver to use on a thread about this a while back, but then I lost the thread completely! But I then just tried the generic 'WM5' drivers and - yes, it does work - BUT what doesn't work are the 'options' - so I cant turn off that f...ing stupid and annoyingly loud 'key-click' on it - which basically renders it completely useless for me all over again.
Brilliant driver support once again.....
Although, in fairness, IIRC it's been a discon. product for some time??
Mine works fine as well. Cab file name that I use is Think Outside PPC5 En.CAB.
