i dont understant? facetiosity? what concrete? Are you test or do something with this radio version?
I want to test this version, but i'm afraid of bricking my P3301... I'm from Brazil, and the phone is personalized by TIM.
Do I have to do the CID unlock process? Is there a way of backup my radio version and ROM version to come back to the original?
I tried a search, but the topics wheren't specific about this questions.
Thanks.
checked, and it works well.
some more testing done?
ark666 ?
now that almost one week is gone, i´ve only tested this radio with Wm 6.1, and these are my results compared to previous radio upgrades:
- better network reception
- faster Gps fix
- less battery drain
- wireless an bluetooth connections better..
Cheers.

in comparison to which other GSM Version?
After a little while i realised that it does seem to be more battery hungry than 3.08.90.
Flashing back to that version now.

Yes as long as you read and follow directions.
In the meantime I'll move this to the correct section.

BenchmarkPi results are about the same. However I was using swap with 1.6 yet it is not wise to use swap on 2.1 (cm 5.0.*).
I think that it's worth the trouble if your coming from stock (boring!)
what are the chances of bricking the phone if this guide is followed?

Is that a rhetorical question?
If you follow the instructions you shouldn't brick your phone and I would say statistically slim.
But lacking all the details about your phone, I'm assuming that you are here in the United States with T-Mobile as your carrier.
The most difficult part is making a goldcard. Once you've done that it's just a matter of flashing the right files in the right order.
ok i did everything and everything seems to be working fine.. i think a bit slower than before.. still getting all my stuff back into it...
Anything u recommend to increase speed??
doesn using your sd card as swap, really increases speed?? i think in order to get swap into the sd card, i need to add a script to phoneprioritizer, also how do i overclock my cpu?
download overclock widget or setcpu

do NOT use swap on CM 5.0.7 or CM 5.0.8! It has been proven to be very unstable. "Swap grave" is how Cyanogen puts it.
is 576 the highest this phone will go stable? (http://bit.ly/aoztrS)

[Q] what does the H instead of 3G mean?

I have upgraded to 2.1, now sometimes I see an icon with an H, instead of 3G. What does it mean?
I have looked in the pdf manual I located but it's not there. BTW, is there any 2.1 pdf available?
thanks
The H is 3G but it's a bit faster.

Yeap, here you're an example link:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/792/651/1274078571/E10__UG_EN_1238-6358_1.pdf
Try Google like this will do: "x10 mini pdf sonyericsson.com"
Hope this may help
The "H" is HSDPA or High-Speed Downlink Packet Access, it is an enhanced 3G or sometimes dubbed as 3.5G which allows networks based on Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) to have higher data transfer speeds and capacity. So having H is better than having 3G.. =)
