does anyone know how is this possible?... MS Outlook RSS 2007 sync with PPC?
i have lots of rss feeds on my desktop... and i also need those feeds on my ppc... is there a way to transfer them all toghether?.. or more to sync them with the ppc?
Yes, it's possible. Just hook your PPC up to your PC, and select the RSS folders you would like to sync. I'm guessing you haven't messed with that before in ActiveSync, but I'm afraid I can't help you there since I'm using Vista. Just look around AS and you'll find a place where you can customize which folders you'd like to sync.
ok... thanks for your answer... i managed to find the opml import export feature... but with the sync it is not that clear... i am on vista also... could you be more specific?

Hi everyone
I'm looking for a replacement for outlook on my desktop which woulld allow me to sync my emails, contacts, events etc with my xda 2.
many thanks
ps: I must be able to sync my emails (located on the desktop) with my xda otherwise I might as well keep on using Lotus organizer.
Many thanks
brimful
if you want to use activesync then i think it's outlook only but there are others

What I need is an app that I can install on my desktop that can replace ms outlook 2000. I want the same functionality as outlook but don't want to use that particular ms product. I'm currently sync'ing my pda with lotus organizer which is a really good prog but unfortunately hasn't got an email client built in. What I need to be able to do is sync everything that I can currently sync with on lotus organizer but with the added functionality of sync'ing my emails also.
that can handle contacts?
do you mean
1 on the pda ?
2 on the pc
3 that can also sync with the pda
i think activesync only sync with outlook
but there are other sync programs which sync with
a great number of other mail programs and the likes
on the pc to edit the contacts.
what are these programs?
i think most mail programs have a kinda of contact
lotus notes, androa or what ever it's called
and windows have some program itself
it's just a matter of sync'ing between them and the pocketpc
try doing a search for them
or for intellisync or something like that
I would like to change the PIM on the pc. I don't like oulook and i'm looking for something better or similar.
I've found some calendar programs but they can't be synced with pda.

AgendaFusion (www.developerone.com)
Pocket Breeze (www.sbsh.net)

I tried act, outlook and lotus organizer and don't like much...

I am a former Palm user. For me, one of the best features of Palm was the simplicity of the desktop software. Now that I am on PPC, I don't want to give up simplicity of Palm desktop software. Plus I HATE using outlook.
Is it possible to sync a PPC with Palm desktop software?
i used to be a palm user since Palm III and really liked the palm desktop for its simplicity. now im using mda vario (my first ppc), i have no choice but to use outlook as my calendar program. first thing, i need to export my data to outlook, but dont want to convert it to text and manually adjust it for outlook during conversion. i used airset sync program (www.airset.com) to sync my palm to web-based, then web-based to outlook.
you can use this program to:
1st. sync palm desktop and web-based (airset)
2nd. sync web-based (airset) and outlook
3rd. sync outlook and handheld/pda/phone using activesync
there are some drawbacks. you might be iritated when sync'ing to both outlook and palm desktop because when you want to switch, you have to change the settings manually on the airset sync. im not sure if its possible to install a 2nd copy of airset sync so you can just use the 2 airset sync for both palm desktop and outlook. or maybe you can manually copy the program from program files folder.
another (big) drawback is airset syncs calendar and contacts only. so i guess it may not be the program you are looking. my point here is, maybe others will find it useful. my only use for this was to export my contacts and calendar (one-time use) and have to live using outlook.
is this cr1t1c4l the ****er who hacked the exegene forum? what's the fun of it? :?
Is there anyway to import an outlook calendar into The calendar on the Wizard withou having to synch with an outlook client? I would like to synch my work diary with my wizard. I know I can do this by importing it into Outlook on my laptop and then syching with the Wizard! However Id like to do it while im at work where I don’t have my personal laptop, so can I import a pst or csv calendar file directly into the wizard? Can I synch with something like Google Calendar via gprs???
