Is there no T9 predictive texting on a vario II

My o2 mini xda s had predictive texting, I found this useful as I could write a quick text with one hand rather than holding the device with both hands. Has this been removed from the vario II? and can i get it back, i don't mind installing a different rom etc..

Phone pad for M700

I apologise in advance if this subject has already been covered but....
I have just changed from MDA compact 2 (terrible service from T Mobile ) to SPV M700 with orange. So far all is well but I do miss the predictive text phone pad style input method for SMS, notes etc etc. So much quicker to run off a note with my thumb than getting stylus out all the time, how can I sneaky text @ work with the stylus
From reading around I think I'm after the HTC touch pad or the T9 pad but am not totally sure and also can find where to down load either of these from. I have found many 'skins' but if Im right htey will simply change the look of my phone screen and not actually add the phone pad to the list of options along with the keyboard, transcriber etc

Or you can use the search function with: "Phonepad International" and get different looking ones.

text messaging

i bought a touch hd phone from ebay that was locked to the orange network having unlocked the phone and now using my own simcard o2 network when i try and use predictive text infact try to use the normal way of textin putting one letter in at a time all it does is bring up the numbers can anyone help me please.

This does happen sometimes usually due to added apps or sometimes with HD Tweak
Do you have anything else installed right now
If you HD Tweak make sure T9 is disable

As ozmoran said, use HD Tweak to disable T9

Enabling Transcriber/Handwriting Recognition on HTC Touch2

Hi :
Newbie (Relatively)
Considering an HTC Touch that comes free with a T-Mobile (UK) Contract.
Problem is I really like taking notes with the Transcriber/Handwriting Recognition input function but can't seem to find it on any UK demo phone (including unlocked friom Carphone Warehouse).
This must exist in the Winmobile 6.5 Rom somewhere.
Can it be enabled ? Anybody any wiser ?
Can anyone please help asap ?

Buildin "notes" app support handwriting...
For Transcriber u need to install xtra app.

any ideas.. pls help..

u can enable transcriber by goin into d windows file..and scroll upon the "t" letter files, find trancriber..and There you are..transcriber gets activated..in HTC touch2

Another way how you can enable transcriber for example are the sktools. With this porgram is it very easy. Normally you can do this with the demo version if you do not want to buy it.

Hi - thanks, this works for me, and I am amazed by the quality of handwriting recognition in WORD. On the other hand it is useless for names and numbers in Outlook!

SMS Reply Text Size Problem - HTC HD2

Hi,
No problem when writing new messages. But the message on the display font size is too small response. What is the solution?

I have same problem as you. I've call into HTC support center.
They recommend me to uninstall the NEW SMS FUNCTIONS UPDATE.
I attempt to try it, but the update cannot be uninstalled. Now I'm trying to reinstall update.
Second solution that the lady on tech support told me is wait until new ROM release from HTC.
I my case it is a little problem, because I have Eastern European edition of HD2 and must wait until they finish my version of ROM. The English ROM will not work.

Problem in localization!
After installing sms fix the difference in library: messagingclientdll.dll
Possible solutions:
- disable localization
or
- disable only sunnysoft localization SMS aplication: Settings->System->Sunnysoft InterWrite->Information...-> and deactivate: messagingclientdll.dll. Soft reset. SMS aplication will be in English, but font size will be ok.

Hi Friends,
Fyi , I am a low vision person using the HTC HD2 for the past 6 weeks (lost my left eye 6 years ago due to a failed eye operation, surviving on one low vision eye). So far I have installed BsB Tweaks and enjoy the pinch & Zoom feature in all programs, the device is great with it's 4.3 inch capacitive screen !
However, the only drawback is the sms editor & screen the text size (even when set to "largest") is too small for me to read.
Does anyone know how to modify the registry setting so that the text size can be increased for the following:
1) New SMS screen
2) Reply SMS Screen
