please, I need help, the installation of my wisbar was wrong and all the reinstallations are a waste of time. the prog crashes all the time. it is really good and I want that or a similar one. I've cleaned rubbish with memmaid, still nth. can you suggest me anything? thkz

I cannot uninstall nothing ot my Qtek 9100 ... When i try to uninstall message appears - ".... was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs?"
How can i repait uninstalling or is there a program that can uninstall software on my Qtek..

Common problem...
This is a known problem on WM5. I haven't been able to uninstall anything from my wizard since I got it.
I just use spb backup to back it up each time and if I don't like the app then do a restore. Makes the application evaluation process pretty serial though.

Is there an another way to uninstall some applications?
Well, here's my approach.
#1. I do the Windows uninstall. When it asks, remove it from the list.
#2. I do a search using Total Commander or Resco File Explorer for files/folders that belong to the program and delete them. (This can be a little tricky, since they may use the company name, like Resco, or the program name, or some part of the program name, or an abbreviation of the program name.)
#3. If there are any additional problems, I search the Registry as in #2. This is mainly if there is something wierd like I get an error message related to the program, for example at startup. Or if I am trying to reinstall and it won't let me.
After this has happened quite a few times (say every month or so, you might want to do a hard reset and just reinstall the programs you want. That will clear out the mess.
Yeah I've been having problems uninstalling on my atom!!!
There should be a workaround to this.

this might be something very trivial. i installed wisbar advance and wisbar lite yesterday and also download some cool vista theme to go with it. all looks fantastic! but for some reason everytime i make or recieve a call the wisbar closes itself and i am left with my normal screen again. i keep activating the wisbar again, only to lose it everytime i recieve another call.
why is this happening?

Mmmm. curious. Can't thinkof anything obvious. Might try a re-installation of wisbar but no guarantee.

Hi all, PLEASE HELP! I have tried searching for a remedy.
Since I joined this forum, I had lots of fun tweaking whatever I wanted! now I think i accidentally used wrong graphic cabs or something for Comm Manager!
NOW it looks like this!
(I though a SPRITE restore would undo it, but it didnt..)
Anyone can help me tweak the registry again?
or maybe a cab file somewhere for the original sizes and buttons. (I think I will still dare to try any other tweaks except comm manager related!-It may affect my phone!)

NOTE THAT screen capture utility was visible because the comm manager graphic was small..& became "transparent"
hi..just wanted to say that it got fixed "accidentally" when I installed whatever cab files related to comm manager i found on the internet..(about 5 cab files- i guess some for VGA/QVGA etc)..when I uninstalled the cab files..it went back to normal...yeah!

Everytime, i wakeup my hermes, there is a message (i have to translate it into english
"Canot execute \Program Files\Liakeridge\Wisbar advance desktop\wakeup.exe"
thats funny, becaus i tryed wisbar desktop and deleted it directly... so i havn't installed it so far...
I tryed to rename an other app to "wakeup.exe" and put it there...
It works, but its not the best way when you wakeup your hermes and an useless app starts directly.
can you help me, how to fix this?

u said u deleted it? it seems to me that you installed wisbar advance and wakeup.exe was one of the parts to it that started up when you woke it up.
did you uninstall/remove wisbar properly? or just delete it? because that seems that there are still links to it in the registry.
UNINSTALL through 'remove programs' (or install it and then uninstall. see if that works.)

I only use the normal wisbar advance, and i tryed the desktopversion for 5 min and removed it than with the activsync tool.
Do someone has an other idea?
It sounds like de-installing the Wisbar Advance Desktop app might've messed something up with Wisbar Advance 2.
There are several things you might do to correct the situation, but without direct knowledge regarding what WAD needs installed vs what WA2 needs, I think it would probably be best to bring this question to the programs' author, Chris McKay.

Yes, SKTools Cleaning wizard will remove broken shortcuts, and that is the problem that you described. The question comes to mind, though, as to whether WA2 needed the app that the particular shortcut pointed to.
I guess in your case, it did not, and as such, WA2 is still working satisfactorily.

i am having problems uninstalling manilla2d every time i try it comes up with an error message saying that "not all components were removed remove from install list? " how eles can i remove this software?
I'm not sure if you want to do this but, for a program like M2D, you might as well do a hard reset. Just what i would do
not to be mean..but you either search the existing threads first OR post in one of the many M2D threads, just something to keep in mind
Anyhow, the easiest way to remove it entirely is to do a hard reset or use SKTools to manually remove it

SKTools will uninstall it if you don't wish to hard reset. Just do a google search for a good link. It is a commercial app but there is a free version of it also.
Yeah man use Sktools. I had the same problem but if you're like me and hate doing hard resets give that program a try. It worked like a charm for me and my phone is live and well with manilla 3d on it
