changing splash screen

Hi all,
I have an imate JAMin with dopod ROM (RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID), RadioRom 2.30.21, extended ROM unlocked, visible and writable (I used Prophet_ext_rom_unlock.exe)
Now, I'd like to change dopod splash screen with the original iMate, but I didn't find a clear method to do this for prophet.
Any idea?

I am first going to say...'I am not an expert.'
Ihave an O2 Neo with the PDA Mobiz rom. The following is the link to the forum ftp with the files i used to get an O2 splash back.

I got my official splash back by re-installing the original O2 rom then installing the PDAMobiz rom. Just my experience. I feel like I'm getting to know what I'm doing. I bricked the phone and brought it back to working perfectly so I'm not a complete idot...lol

G3 wizard Dead I need help

hey all,
any help that any one can offer would be great. First off what had happen was that I was installing a new rom onto my G3 Wizard, the after it was complete the phone restarted but didn't get passed the loading windows screen. On top of that, now when I connect my phone the to the computer activesync doesn't read the phone or charge the battery. Is there anything I could do to fix this.

Read the Wiki (XDA-Wiki). Link button at top of this screen. Look at the Wizard section on how to unbrick your phone.

Uhm,, Yo.. Check.. Download the Original Rom again, put the PDA in boot loader and put the original Rom on it. Then ull be able to f*.. the rom up again ^^

Cingular,, Duuh.. You should always get original rom of the phone's provider.. If its an Original HTC.. Get HTC.. If its Cingular.. Get Cingular,, and so on..

HTC P3300 distributed by Dangaard - Necessary original ROM

My HTC is how brick. It lies on shelf and hereinto it is suitable. To it lying it it is not suitable also :{ .
It is suitable on gadget?
I it can not flash rom, I it can not remove CID because I it can not him start. Whether someone can me to help or what I can they would make he he was lively.
I it can not flash rom by bootloader because do not it know from where from him download. It my HTC is from Danngard (Denmark) .

I wanted flash my HTC PDAMobiz_Dopod_P800W_AKU301_v1.1.2 _PowerMap.exe however during flash he stood up ( he hung ).

Pinesio, can you try to reset the device (put the pen in the little hole at the left side of your device) and at the same time hold the voice record button also on the left side of the device. If all goes well you should now see 3 colored bars (red, green and blue or something).
Try that if that works not all is lost, you can try to flash a HTC original rom witch you can download from the WIKI page of Artemis

I reset device several times. White logo HTC starts till moment. Bootloader (colourful belts) it acts. I tried flash rom there now kounikat lets INVALID ID . Original ROMu I did not it find. You can me show where from take him ? Original he was Denamrk version disributed by Dangaard

I have a dopod p800w and I tried to flash it with Tom_ART_v2.00.02_CB downloaded from here and it is dead. It goes to the initial booting screen and just stays there forever. I have the original ROM from dopod asia and I tried to flash with it thru SD as guided from ur website. When I invoke the bootloader it says searching for sd card and immediatly goes to 3 color bands, then nothing happenes.
I feel like crying now. Can somebody helpme

Try to get the phone into bootloader and flash the orignal shipped rom and for gods sake and for the sake of your expensive handset read the post by our moderator meschle right at the top before even attempting to flash.Hopefully you may retreive it.

My prob is bootloader
the bootloader when invoked says searching for sd card but then it goes to a tri color band display n nothing happenes
does anyone has some advice
is this boot loader can be invoked from desktop using the prog (mtty.exe)mentioned in ur forums (im not IT savvy)

is ur phone cid unlocked? try t-mob. shipped rom. it helped lot of people

Hi I would like to inform very happyly My dopod p800w is alive.
Yap managed to restore it with original shipped ROM.
Actually I was trying to flash it from SD card which I couldn't with out knowing I can connect USB cable when it is in bootloader tri color band and straight away start by double clicking the EXEfile of original ROM

1)Disconnect from USB cable
2) switch off telephone
3)hold CAMERA key (key on right side of phone)will start in 3 color mode
4)plug in USB cable
5)start ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow instructions
which I followed in my Dopod P800W and damn it it worked. So happy. Nice to get stuck and find a way out of it. Wish all of u happy Tappings. Thank u

Stocked on boot screen

Hi - I've been searching this forum over and over, but couldn't find solution.
So - I was trying to install new rom using ShellTool and faiiled. Now it only shows boot screen with ipl/spl. I had intalled new rom before and it worked fine.
Also, then I have tried this http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=332143 (installing mmty rom, shows that installing is sucessful) but still hangs on blue screen.
Anyone could help please?
