Yahoo! MessengerCE on XdaII

Hi all!
I tried to use Yahoo! Messenger for WindowsCE based devices and I installed it without any problem.
Only...when I try to run it, it normally starts but it is not able to connect me to the server.
Is it unusable on Windows PPC 2002? Has this messenger ever worked on CE devices?
Has anybody ever used this software before, solving this problem?

Try Agile Mobile messenger from www.agilemobile.com - I tried using Yahoo for quite a while on various versions of Pocket PC beginning with the Sagem WA3050 and the experience hasnt been very good. I now use Yahoo, but on the Agile client.

I was exactly looking for the way to use the "original" Yahoo!CE Messenger cause I asked myself if it's really not possible to use it.

Pocket msn messenger (built in the WM2003SE rom) is free like msn messenger, it's a shame that you have to pay €14.99 for POCKETMSN (new service for the registration) while msn messenger on your pc is for free.
That's the point where people start to look for a replacement free messenger.
The built in Msn messenger in the windows 2003se rom has no email plugins. The pocketmsn has, that's the difference.
For €14.99 i'd rather visit myself hotmail.com without a stupid plugin.
There is http://www.frieger.com/photmail/
This is still a beta program that connects & downloads your empty folders, even if checked for synchronising.
Then you have HTTPMail

but it doesn't work 100% and it's a paid service.
Any alternative mailprograms or plugin for the built in MSN in WM2003SE that notifies if you have mail ?
Is the msn better for WM2005? I know WM2005 is not compatible with Alpine (XDA2i) but maybe someone can post the msn cab from wm2005 and tell us if this version is better and has a hotmail plugin, or also payservice ?

I know agile messenger is out there 4 my mda pro pocket pc windows 5.0 is there any other messengers out there that I can use as well.I would love 2 use 2yahoo messener accounts at the same time.Plz get bk 2me asap thanx mono33

Pocket MSN

Good morning Chaps and Chappesses.
I hope everyone is well and happy. I am really enjoying using my Ameo but I cannot remember how to re-enable pocket MSN which t-moblie appear to have removed from my device.
I had this same problem on an older PPC I had but I cannot remember what I did to resolve this!
I had pocket MSN setup on my MDA pro and #I found it extremely usefull for checking mail and msn messenger.
Can anyone advise me on getting this back on my device?

If you could post it before someone decides its a bad idea and blocks out posts
I am rather annoyed that I cannot have my hotmail messages delivered into my inbox like I did on my MDA pro.
That saved time and effort logging into hotmail through opera.
I guess I will not be installing another T-mobile Rom on this device but I had better find a copy of the HTC advantage Rom istead for TOMTOM and pocket MSN.
I await the goodness of :Live messenger !!

Does the Live messenger keep your MSN contacts isolated, or does it still import all your phone contacts and add them as contacts (like it did when i once installed it on universal, prompting my immediate uninstall)
Also, does it suffer from the same problem with the winxp live messenger where some of the more recent contacts you add never appear online, even though they are online ?

Pocket Msn

All the rom release at the moment got msn live or some nothing but I do prefer pocket msn. Anyone got a cab file for pocket msn so could u share for please.. I would like to instal on lsvw rom

I've got a problem with msn. I had live, and some day it couldn't log in, not at all. I deleted it, and poket msn couldn't log in either. I try to reinstall both live and poket, but the installation is unsuccessful both times,I deleted all left overs from msn live but still nth... plz help me...
