Does anyone else thing the default PTT sounds in the Cingular 8525 are a bit obnoxious? I've done some googling and can't find anything on the subject. Is it possible to change the sounds? I'm figuring it's a registry hack of some sort. If you have any suggestions or info on changing it I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
Is there any tweak in the registry to change the repeating interval on WM6 reminders? The time between is way to short and if a simple registry editing could fix it, I can have one less program installed, today I'm using AlarmPal for that purpouse.
Anyone please!
Would be greatful for help on this. Anyone knows if its possible, and if so, how to edit the registry?
No clue which reg settings take care of this, but check out phoneAlarm. This app gives amazing control over all the notifications, to include duration, frequency and delay of reminders. You can find a free trial at www.pocketmax.net, and the registered version is really cheap for the lite version (<$15)
Thanks. I'm using AlarmPal from PocketMax to do the job. Was just wondering if it isn't just a registry matter to change the repeating interval.
Noone?
No one who have a clue? It seems pretty simple. But you have to know where to look in the registry and I don't. But I'm hoping anybody else does, so please share that bit of information.
i searched the whole ROM and REG keys, but nothing found.
anyone who can tell me how to do that?
i just change the sound to AK47
thx.
hi guys,
is it possible to increase the speakervolume?
maybe with a "volume-hack" or something?
in my opinion the speakervolume is too low e.g. at navigation announcements.
has anybody an advice?
greets
pi
I'm using coreplayer for audio and movies (preamp adds heaps of volume).
Not too sure about any hacks, but TT7 seems to be plenty loud enough for me. You may be able to download a louder voice for your nav software.
thanks for your reply, but i'm searching for a solution like this:

i have already tested this para-files, but it doesn't work.
can anybody help please?

Click to collapse
Thought maybe something like HD Tweak, but the program will work for Xperia except for the sound settings......sorry
I have been looking around for info on this. Yes, I searched and went through a dozen pages..so nil... I don't own a Snap / Ozone, but I know someone who does. According to him, the volume on it , particularly the ringer volume, is not that loud, even after doing the registry edit to change the value in sound categories / control panel. Is there an edited audiopara file that will work on a Snap or Ozone? Or is there anyone out there that knows Exactly which lines to edit in the audiopara3 file?
And no, I heard the TP and TD audiopara tweaks dont work on this device.
Thanks in advance
I was able to get the ringer and the earpiece louder on the Ozone. I had to because I'm hearing impaired. I'm no expert at this stuff and I take no credit for the work. What I did first was modified some settings in the registry which helped a little. Then I made some changes to the AudioPara3 file. Basiclly, it was trial and error from AudioPara3 files from other phones on this forum. It works great for me. I have attached the two files.
Also, if someone can modify this file to get the Motorola H710 headset working without random disconnects from the phone(even though the call is still active) I'd appreciate it. Let me know how this works.

I posted the wrong AudioPara3 file. Here is the correct one.
May I ask what is Audiopara?
There is a file called AudioPara3 in the Windows directory. If you copy it over to a PC, you'll see it's an excel spreadsheet with values controlling many aspects of the phone. I wouldn't edit the file in excel just view. The best way to edit is in notepad. Hope this helps
Does Audiopara boost the volume without a drop in sound quality?
