I would be grateful if someone sent me the T-Mobile files for the text messages. I've got MDA Vario II and flashed it with HTC ROM but forgot to backup those files. If I remember well they are visible as T-Mobile 1,2,3,4 or something like that. As I managed to install quite a lot of soft it would be too much hassle to go back to T-Mobile ROM just for those files...

I am living in Alexandria Egypt. I purchased the imate XDA II ppc phone edition about 2 months ago from dubai. With the initial instalation the mms composer did not install. I asked for help at ppcw.net forum and they kindly sent me a file `default-mms` advising me to put it in the extended rom folder for which they sent a small software so that I can see the extended rom. After a hard reset the mms composer installed and I could send and recieve few mms messages , however it is very unstable and know not sending or recieving despite repeating their advice several times. Now when I click on the file default-mms it always says that one or two dll files need to be copied
I do not know what to do. I heard about your geneous work You are my only hope left Please help me

I have a Siemens SX56, but it doesn't have MMS capability yet. Now, I have been browsing thru the various posts, and I'm getting conflicting opinions that have been confusing me. Apparently there are two programs that can be used (both can be downloaded from this site), ezWAP and MMS Composer.
I've never upgraded my SX56 (too scared to do so), so everything is still factory default. What do I need to install so I can use MMS?

The newer versions even integrate into your standard mailbox.

I have looked on the Forum and on the FTP for the USA MDA T-mobile ROM and i have yet to have it so >_< im asking if anyone has it, im requesting the oringenal (sp) one, the one that has the IM program which has ICQ,AIM,Yahoo so if anyone can please help me out with this

Computer Crashed Need Files again
A While back i asked for the T-Mobile MDA Rom Files however since then i have lost them due to that my Hard Drive Crashed, The Link here dose no longer work I have Downloaded the Updates for both the T-Mobile and Cingular MDA(8125) However Dose anyone know where i can get the Original Rom Files for Both of these So i can do a Total Rom Flash and not just an Update Thank you So much ^_____^

It does include the AIM, ICQ, Yahoo! IM Client, but do be aware they you are charged a text message for each message sent and recieved via that client.
I have a Vodafone v1605, which I have flashed with the Imate Jasjam rom. However, I am struggling badly to get the correct operator settings for Vodafone uk.
I have tried various cab files, as well as manually entering the settings, but all to no avail. I would now like to revert to the original shipped rom, but can not find it. Vodafone are no help at all!
Does anybody know if it is possible to download and reinstall the original shipped rom for this device.

please try this file if it uplaods ok. worked for me with my Prophet.
you will need to load cad file onto phone click and install then go into messaging-then menu at the bottom of the screen- mms configuration-then servers then select vodafone as default

I need to get hold of the 3UK Rom or the contents of theh extended ROM as my mate with an XDA Exec cant access services etc and his videomail is full and killed all his mail! 3 Helpline is useless needless to say!!

a while back regarding browser identification and 3 services.
I'd be interested in the contents of the extended rom. Should be easier than dumping the rom - just a case of unlocking/unhiding it with the tools from this site, copying the contents with ActiveSync or using an SD card, then zipping it and posting it to rapidshare or the xda ftp.
That'd do it. It's only the extended rom that's really got the changes in.

The main ROm doesn't matter, we can find the usefull things in Ext.ROM.
Just unlock your ExtRom and take a copy from that what you can find on it.
