Please help.
I am a newbie to these forums and the vario 2. The problem is the vario 2 connects to my wireless network, but as soon as I start msn or internet explorer etc it then starts the gprs connection (web n walk). WHY? What am i doing wrong? How do I make it use my wireless network if im at home?

i just purchased a mda vario 2 and i seem to be having problems connecting to internet explorer and msn messenger via wifi. i have set up the wifi connection and it all shows that i am connected. but it just doesnt find any pages or connects to my messenger. any ideas guys? i know most of the topics on here are to do with some form of connection problem or what not.... so i will appreciate any advice.

I don't think that this is the issue because my wm5 os seamlessly switched from wifi to gprs.. I see the same issue where I can access the new through the gprs setting but not through the wifi when connected to an access point. I know that the wifi accesspoint works cause I can access it on my laptop. I think it has to do with a registry setting..
Ok, so I'm on a Tmobile MDA AKU3.3
After searching and reading all the post regarding the new internet sharing program, it seems simple. Start internet sharing on MDA, hook up usb to laptop and go... I disabled Bluetooth on the laptop and turned it off on the on the MDA. The laptop and MDA seem to connect as it starts a connection and gets an IP, but I cannot surf the web at all.
Any ideas? Thanks, for any responses.

got a HTC TYTN II on 3 UK. I am at home and want to connect to my WiFi and browse the internet. This works fine if I use Opera BUT if I launch Windows Live then the 3 GPRS connection launches and connection is made via that.
Is there a way I can tell GPRS not to connect when I'm using WiFi?

I have the same problem here, Opera can use the wifi connection, but IE and MSN Live dont.

- VPA Compact 2 WM-5 with German E-Plus SimCard, giving me an excellent GPRS/Edge internet connection on the mobile phone.
Is it possible, by connecting my Laptop with the HTC Wizard, to use the mobile phone GPRS connection to browse the web with my laptop `?
Does anybody know/have an exact tutorial for a little dumb as I am ?

can anyone help me?.
I would access internet with my cell phone (Samsung SGH i780 os WM6) without having any kind of fast data connections with my provider, like gprs edge or hsdpa.
In other word I would connect to the service with a dial-up gsm connection at 9600bps, but WM6 seems to haven't capability to connect to internet this way.
