IIWPO on a Mini?

has anyone tried the IIWPO on an XDAII Mini?

it's pretty nice search in this forum how to move data to the extended mem

Alas, there can and will not be any IIWPO until someone figures out how to disable the write proteciton on the Mini's extended rom

Mini Extended ROM Unlocking
I want to put IIWPO inside the ext_rom of O2 XDA II Mini. Which ext_rom unlocking tool should i use for this?
Similarly, the Wiki on IIWPO suggests changing the 'location' to \windows and specifying 'Hard coded'. For which Files should I do this in the WinCE Cab Manager?

Custom Connections Cab

Hi guys
Not 100% sure I'm in the right section. I've also searched the Wiki and Forums to the best of my ability, but because "cab" is a short word, searching is quite difficult!
Basically, is there a program or a way of creating a custom cab file that will install GRPS/3G settings? I've reviewed the current Provider cabs in the wiki, but my organsation needs to put custom proxy settings in as well.
Any idea's?

Question for new Wing User

Hi,
I just got a T-mobile wing and am looking for resources for it. I had the T-mobile MDA and found numerous great ROMS, Themes, and Software for it on this forum however, it seems like the Wing doesn't have nearly as much.
Does anyone know of other forums that are dedicated only to the wing?
I'm particularly interested in a good ROM. But, I don't really like the 4 I have come across in the Herald thread.

Touch-IT by ITJE
and
PDAVIET v14 by PDAVIET.net
I used the PDAVIET rom forever, but the new Touch-IT v2.3 is currently the best one available by far... so I'd recommend using it.

Thanks for the responses. I appreciate it. Now if I can just find an x-button program like I had on my mda. I hate when all the programs stay open and kill all the memory.

I asked in the TouchIt forum but didn't get a response. in the forum it says to follow the instructions in the TouchIt Folder. where is this folder?

have you DOWNLOADED TouchIT yet?
if so, and if you open the archive, you'll find a text file that says "HOW TO UPGRADE" ... everything you need to know is in there.

Figured out part of what I did wrong.. Downloaded the attached file PocketCM-0.15 and couldnt find the file... duuuuhhh.. so I have downloaded the ROM. Now what is the PocketCM for ?

PocketCM is an advanced contact list application.
you should try it its very good.

Help cooking my first ROM...

I Read all documentation about cooking a rom.. but i have some question:
all pages refers to kaiser cooking, but i need to work with polaris without brick it.
what baserom can i use?
may i work with HTC italian original rom and remove something in it? if so, how? (i am able to expand all rom files but i don't know how to import it into cooking utility)
coud someune explain me?

there is a lot of kits for various platform.. what is the correct kits for me?

OEM's are the same for all devices(more less, depending on LNG-u need to check rgu's & initflashes if paths are correct-"Start Menu"...) U need to use one of the polaris ROMs as a base (some parts U can use from other devices but i dont recomend it if UR really not sure. use kitchen in 1st post

HTC official for polaris italian, from xda ftp, WM6.

Ok, ok.. let's start me again...
i found the total n00bs guide, but i'm not so n00b...
i just need the name for a correct base rom and correct packages for my polaris because all guide refers to baserom for kaiser...
in simple words, my goal is to cook a simple rom with WM6 (or 6.1) with touchFlo, tomtom, total commander, office mobile, adavanced calc, TCPMP or divx player, italian language, connection wizard, and wthout streaming media and some other unuseful stuff....
