Hi,
I have managed to reconfigure my Tytn to access Optus Zoo trhough WinWAP but not through Pocket IE.
Anyone have any ideas or know of any plugins that allow the viewing of wap pages, specifically http://networker.optus.net.au/cocoon/nav/cocoon_index.xml
in PIE?
Cheers
Rob

Hi, I wonder if anybody else uses 3UK on their Uni.?
I've set up the GPRS settings, and then when I open Internet Explorer, it connects, but i fail to get to the 3 portal
Just wondering whether anyone has managed to get onto it (and download stuff),
Thanks, would be grateful if you can share your tips and tricks!
Hi:
Appreciate any help regarding this:
On my hx4700, browsing WAP sites (via wifi or a bluetooth phone) works perfectly.
On my Jamin, If I choose a bookmarked WAP site I just get the message "Connecting" at the bottom of the screen, then nothing else happens.
I can browse WAP sites via Opera Mobile fine, but I'd like to take advantage of the 3GP video news service the BBC is now offering on its WAP site and of course Opera Mini can't open the 3GP url.
I'd really like to get WAP working in PIE on the Jamin. Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Steve
I have a Cingular 8525 with WM5 latest rom that shipped.
I can not see some images/java applets on my 8525. not even the little image that indicates there is an image there that is not displaying.
for example netspeed.stanford.edu should be able to see the applet there.
could cingular wap be causing the issue? (not using cingular isp setting)
are there any java updates or active x updates?
any ideas?
thanks
You're using Pocket IE. Pocket IE does *not* support everything regular IE does. You might want to try Opera Mobile (not free, though), or there's a mozilla project browser whose name I forget.
hi,everyone .this bother me for a long time I ask many times to get some help but no one can tell me how to resolve this.
I am in USA and use as T-MOBILE I have T-ZONE service I can use my phone online watch news you tube etc.but just msn can't online.anyone know how to fix that problem? please help on this one.thank you
no one know??! anyone live in usa have same problem??
dont know about USA. But for Vodafone NL you need to add a proxy server to your connection settings in order to get MSN to work. Maybe something like that is also needed for your provider
Some phone operators have blocked a lot of ports in order to limit capabilities of the lines. Perhaps only http port is open so MSN can't connect as it uses a specific port range to access its servers.
In France, SFR operator is acting like this, so I can't use MSN Messenger, except if I use its own specific software, which is not very attractive.
In my case MSN, Skype, don't work with proxy.
When I deleted proxy server everything works ok.
